We had some issues with our AC during the summer. We decided to reach out to Scott’s air conditioning since a lot of our neighbors have recommended Scott’s. We are incredibly grateful to Scott for reaching out to us and truly making things right during such a difficult time for our family. Scotts compassion, professionalism, and willingness to help did not go unnoticed. It meant more to us than just fixing an AC issue — it showed genuine care and integrity. In a moment when we really needed support, he stepped up and went above and beyond. We highly recommend Scott AC Company and appreciate everything he did for us. It is really hard to find people nowadays that truly care for one another and I can say that Scott truly cares. He just wants to make his customers happy and feel satisfied and that’s exactly how we felt.

Called them right away Monday morning as our unit will not come on at all. They said they would send someone today from 12-4. Christian called when he was on the way. He checked things out and explained some things that needed to be done and what order to do them in if we could not do them all at once. Christian explained everything thoroughly and asked if we had any questions. We will be using them for the repairs and most likely doing a maintenance/service plan with them.

This is the first service since the unit was installed a year ago. The unit has been.running well but .... maintenance!
As promised, Allen called in advance. He performed the maintenance & installed a new thermostat. He was pleasant, helpful and did a great job.

UPDATE 12/11/25-
Mr. Scott, the owner took the time to speak with me the day before to take ownership of the unfortunate event, and to rectify it, he personally came over to speak to me and issued a refund for the blower motor replacement to honor me being a customer and purchasing the unit from them in recent times. This speaks a lot about his integrity and customer centric approach. Even though I didn’t hear from them initially for a few months, this was a great gesture in difficult times, and I appreciate this, therefore updating my review.

STAY AWAY!!!

I purchased a new AC system from Scott’s Air & Heat in 2022 for approximately $7,000. Since then, I have already spent over $1,500 on repairs in 2 years. Despite the system having a 10-year parts warranty, I was charged $650 for labor alone to replace a blower motor—a repair that took about one hour to complete. Another reputable company quoted $500 total, including both parts and labor, for the same job.

Additionally, I was charged $258 for the same issue just a week prior, and when the problem recurred, the company billed me again instead of honoring their previous service. Attempts to reach the owner or manager for a resolution went unanswered.

Overall, I found their pricing to be excessive and their customer service severely lacking. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

1/20/2026: Allen and Michael from Scotts Heating and Air were just here for our 6 month maintenance on our HVAC and they were excellent. Polite, Friendly, On Time and Efficient. We greatly appreciate everyone from Scott's Heating and Air who have been to our house!!

We had to have our entire HVAC replaced and Craig really worked with us to get us a fair price and arranged 1 year 0% financing. We got scheduled very quickly and Boris, the installer, could not have been better. He was exactly the type of service person we want in our house. He and his team were polite and meticulous. They cleaned up the job site when it was completed.

Once the install was complete Boris was very good and explaining our system to us and left us with complete confidence of a job WELL DONE!

Fantastic service and was able to schedule for the next day. Anthony was thorough and explained everything he did. He was extremely polite and efficient. The receptionist who scheduled my appointment was also very polite and easy to work with. I highly recommend Scott's Heating & Air Conditioning.

Christian has performed our last two service calls. Arrived within scheduled window and courtesy called beforehand.

Took his time to check all components and provide any relevant information for present and future servicing. We have contracted with Scott's for another year of scheduled maintenance.

A huge thanks to Cliff and Nate for going above and beyond with their efforts and customer service today. Cliff has been servicing our unit for quite a while and is always very thorough and detailed during his visits. So grateful to know there are still folks out there committed to excellence and doing the right thing.

Christian did a fantastic job on our air conditioner maintenance today! Professional, thorough, on-time, and left everything clean. Explained the work clearly and no surprises. Scott’s Heating and Air Conditioning is the best—5 stars and highly recommend!

We have used Scott’s Heating Air for many years. They are a wonderful family owned company and provide personal service. Santiago always makes sure we are cool in the summer and warm in the winter! I love having a personalized service advisor for my unit.

Dan Kelly is such a knowledgeable technician. He truly cares about the customer experience. Being in the service industry myself, I can see how much he cares and pours himself into each problem we've encountered. He easily diagnoses other technician errors and gets them fixed rapidly. Big Ups to Dan, we really appreciate him!

Allen & Michael did a very thorough review of my a/c system and serviced same very professionally. Current & future possible problem points were personally brought to my attention while they were on our property-not via some vague text msg. two or three days later. Finally, these two techs work very well together-unlike previous ones we have had on our property from other a/c service companies!

Christian R did a great job on our AC service checkup. I've always had great service with Scott's. They replaced our old AC unit about 5 years ago and have found them very reliable, professional, and great all around customer service.

Christian R . was our technician for a planned service call to clean the AC blower. He called ahead to give his arrival time and arrived in time as stated. He was professional and provided detailed information for work performed.

Scott's Heating and Air Conditioning has been maintaining our unit since 2021. They are very responsive, easy to schedule an appointment with, have reasonable prices, and highly professional staff. Their maintenance program provides peace of mind. I definietly recommend them!

My heating had not been working for a long time, which is fine because this is Florida and I very rarely use heat. But with all the cold recently, I decided to get it fixed. Scott’s was able to send someone out the next day to figure out the issue, and Christian came out and was able to figure out the issue. A part did need to be ordered, which was available for installation the following day. Overall, the process was very smooth and everyone was polite and professional.

Cliff and Christian called ahead and were able to get to us even earlier than promised. They quickly and thoroughly diagnosed and repaired the problem at a very reasonable rate. I love working with vendors who still understand the value of client relationships. I'll be using Scott's for any future heating or AC service. Highly recommended.

I called Scotts a day ago for a broken heat pump, they were out that day and got it running alright and again the next day to replace it. They came out again yesterday and worked through a tough install, staying from 9 until 10:30PM when the job was finally finished. The work they did was great, super knowledgeable techs, great pricing and good service. Would recommend to anyone!

I recently hired this company for plumbing work, and during the job, their plumber accidentally cut into my ceiling and damaged my air conditioning duct. This has left me with both a large hole in my ceiling and a damaged HVAC system that now needs repair.

I understand accidents can happen, but what matters is how a company responds. At this point, I’m still waiting for them to take responsibility and help with the repair costs. As a customer, I shouldn’t have to cover the expense of fixing damage that occurred during their work. Also paid a little under 300 dollars for him to come out and not diagnosis the issue and cause more damage to my home.

I hope management will step up and make this right by arranging proper HVAC and drywall repair. Once that happens, I’ll be glad to update this review.

Great service! I called on Friday after 5 PM for a non-emergency service and had a tech there by 8 AM on Saturday. Great communication, fair price and resolved the issues in a timely manner. Our tech, Kamrin Mixell did an awesome job! Highly recommend and will call again for any plumbing needs!

My tech OPS-1 Anthony was superb. This was my first time using FrankGay plumbing. Waking up With no Running water in the house Was scary enough. Thank you so much for your prompt fast and courteous service. I would highly recommend FrankGay Plumbing and I will definitely use them again if the needs arise.

Ops-10 David Alverez installed a new kitchen faucet after determining the old one was a source of a leak. He also replaced the valves that ran water into the faucet. He was very professional and thorough in his work. I would highly recommend him and Frank Gay for their plumbing services.
