The technical experts on Sanjay's team arrived on time, started the work and completed everything with a professional approach. They also helped me set up the wifi controller, explained to me the setup. Scope of work was exactly done per agreement and quote. They also cleaned up the work when they left. Overall a great experience.

We purchased a Trane heat pump and handler for the second story a little more than a year ago and had a great experience with Sanjay Patange and his crew. Sanjay came out on a Saturday to go over best options and pricing for our situation. We also spoke to several other AC companies and we chose Blue Star because we felt that his pricing was fair and could tell that he genuinely cares about the quality of his work and his customers. He kept us updated about scheduling prior to the installation. His installation crew arrived on time, put down tarps over the hardwood floors and were also polite and efficient even though they were working under very hot conditions outside and in an attic. Whenever we have questions Sanjay always responds promptly.
Fast forward a year, and our AC suddenly stopped working later in the afternoon. I texted Sanjay that evening and asked him to please call the next morning. He promptly phoned the next morning even though he was at a conference and sent two of his technicians out by midday. They texted when they were on their way, arrived on time and checked the system to find the problem. Unfortunately there was an issue with the handler coil and all of the refrigerant had leaked out. The technicians added enough refrigerant to cool the upstairs overnight (greatly appreciated!) and came back mid morning the following day to replace the coil unit. Sanjay was still at a conference but behind the scenes found the part we needed, made sure that the repair was scheduled and kept us updated. The technicians again were very polite, efficient, and kept me updated on their progress. They even worked through lunch until they finished the replacement.
Sanjay and the technicians that we have interacted with at Blue Star have been outstanding, provide excellent customer service and communication and mostly you can trust them to do a great job and honor the warranties. We definitely recommend Blue Star without hesitation and will use them in the future.

Overall good experience the Owner, Sanja came to our home to give us an quote for a new A/C unit for our 1700 sq. ft. townhome and was comparable to the other 4 quotes I received from local vendors. Sanja won me over with his hands on approach and being the head of accountability. My older unit was generating a lot of water so we tried to get the job scheduled quickly however when the day came to do the job he did not have the permit and i had already called out of work which was frustrating. He did communicate to me leading up to the night before that it would be possible that the permit wouldn't come in in time but would check again in the morning. I was going out of town so we had to reschedule the job a couple weeks later. Since I had just arrived back after vacation taking another day off during the week was not an option and Sanjay and his team were able to accommodate a Saturday installation. His team was efficient, professional and courtesy navigating my home around my two toddlers and dog. From start to finish the job took around 7-8 hours and they cleaned up any mess that they made. I tipped his team for excellent work and for working on the weekend. I would work with them again and recommend anyone to get a quote for any A/C needs from Bluestar.

First time doing business with Blue Star Air Conditioning. Nice to get to talk directly with the owner in person over the estimate of replacement A/C options and their respective costs. Once the contract was signed the installation we very smoothly. The new heat pump system was installed by a three man team in the same day - including dismantling the old air handler in the attic and then assembling the new one in the attic. Very attentive installation crew - definately not their first installation. When the county inspector came the following week to review the work completed, he had excellent feedback for the installation team - no issues were found and everything was up to code. Would recommend Blue Star A/C to anyone wanting to install Trane branded equipment.

We decided on using Blue Star after interviewing four companies. What sold us on the initial decision was Sanjay, the owner, took a vested interest in the project. There was an initial discussion, a detailed walk through then an additional visit with “Marcos” (lead tech) to make sure every detail was addressed. There were no missing parts, “have to come back later” moments!

Price wise, Blue Star was very competitive. We decided on the Trane 20XVi 5-ton condenser and 5-ton air handler. The condenser runs at about 750 different speeds and works seamlessly with the air handler. The house is zoned as well. We were replacing a Trane system that was between 15-20 years old.

The removal of the old system was done extremely neat. Parts were neatly stacked and organized which was a bit of a shock! The guys kept the area very clean.

There were three men involved in the removal and installation. Each one was extremely sharp. “Marcos” was well versed in everything and his attention to detail was exceptional. The crew worked with detailed pace, never rushing to just get the job done! There was no “fall off” in effort or energy over the entire day. No mistakes due to fatigue etc.

It’s been almost a month now and what a difference. The system takes a couple of days to get your house normalized. Humidity and temp along with the different duct sizes are processed within the system and an unbelievable balance is created! This system is an absolute dream for AC. We have a whole house solar system as well and with the pool pump and AC on, we were still producing more power (sending it back to the grid)! That had never happened before! The condenser at times seems like it's barely even running! Quiet as can be!

I can’t compliment and recommend this company enough! Sanjay has since followed up to check if all is well. We picked up the annual service contract to basic maintenance because I knew the company was never trying to just get the sale!

Today I had the pleasure of working with Scott's Heating & Air Conditioning in Longwood, FL, and I couldn't be more satisfied. From the very first call, Michelle was amazing—friendly, helpful, and truly delivered top-notch customer service. The technician, Dan, came out to my home, and he was nothing short of fantastic. He was thorough, detailed, and made sure we were completely taken care of. I had read great reviews about them beforehand, and they certainly lived up to the hype. Their excellent reputation in town is well-deserved. I highly recommend Scott's Heating & Air Conditioning to anyone in need of reliable, high-quality service!

I signed up with Scott's heating and air with a $189 a year annual maintenance fee. Right before the cold front hit they came out to do one of the 2 scheduled maintenances. Everything seemed fine technician told me there were no issues with the unit. When it got cold we decided to turn on the heat, I quickly realized that the condenser outside wasn't working. I called Scott's heating and air they sent out a technician and the technician advised me that the TXV valve was damaged. This valve cannot be repaired it would need to be replaced or I would just need to get a whole new unit. I was quoted over $8000 for a new unit. Shocked with the news that I received I decided to get A second opinion. Three other companies came out and when they took a look at the TXV valve they determined that the line didn't rupture it was cut. I reached out to Scott's heating and air to make them aware of my discoveries and to my surprise till this day I've I have yet to receive a phone call back. I later come to find out that this company has a bad reputation for there technicians maliciously doing things to units to cause it not to work. But they won't do something that you would immediately notice. So I recommend proceeding with caution when inquiring to do business with Scott's heating and air. I also received quotes from other companies to replace my entire unit and it was half the cost of what Scott's quoted me.

Scott's Heating & Air Conditioning = Professional. They did an awesome job with my system change. The photos are of finished product and old product. A drastic difference! They were on time and knowledgeable. They made sure the job was done to my satisfaction. I highly recommend them!

This review is for Christian R, he was in my home today to maintenance my AC system. He was a pleasure to work with and is extremely professional.

They'll nickel and dime you. Horrible post installation service. I never had an issue with AC drainage clogs (bacterial growth) but it's happened multiple times since they've installed and they want to charge me $150 just to come out and then an additional $185 to drain it. The first service they did basically nothing, and asked me for the drainage fee. Other companies in the area are half the price for clog flushing (from the handler, not just the pipes).

So much for loyalty. I spent $6k for them to install a system that clogs up monthly.

It was a pleasure, having Christian R in our home today to service the AC system. He is extremely professional and was a pleasure to work with.

Scott’s is always very responsive with great service. I just had a new system installed. It needed modification. It was provided right away! And I am very pleased with the results. Especially the team that was here today. Thanks again for the great service.
