We had our bi-annual air conditioner maintenance today, Joel was the service technician who came to the house. I have to say that Joel was great, he came right on time and was super friendly! He performed the maintenance on our system and gave it a good look over. He’s extremely knowledgeable about anything HVAC. What was really great was that he didn’t try to push unnecessary repairs or upsell us in any way. We felt no pressure at all which was great! He was honest, said our system was up there in age and although our blower fan is in bad shape and the capacitor is not running at full capacity that we shouldn’t waste a lot of money on repairs as due to its age, it could break tomorrow. Instead he suggested we start shopping for a new system in the coming months since prices and incentives would be available since it’s the off season.

IERNA, give Joel a raise! He is a great tech! We were dreading today because the guy you sent in the first half of 2025 was high pressure, and not nice and just not pleasant to be around. Joel totally changed my outlook on Ierna, I was ready to cut and run from Ierna but we were owed one more maintenance for 2025….Joel changed our minds, we will keep using you guys.

Had water coming thru the LR ceiling from bath upstairs. Lerna sent Jon over the next morning, and by 10am problem was solved, toilet needed a new wax ring which required lifting the toilet, actually 3 times since the first wax ring wasn't sealing the outlet so he put on two wax rings. He also had to cut a square hole in the LR ceiling under the leak so he could diagnose the problem with a flashlight, there are two baths and we didn't know where the water was coming from, toilet, tub or sink. Great job, I was really happy with the quick response and Jon had to lift the heavy toilet three times, thank you Jon!

Ierna is a company I have used to service my a/c for years. They are reputable with readily available appointments and honest technicians. My most recent appointment involved the cleaning of my unit and replacing a component. Blake Kilcoyne was very thorough and detailed. I so appreciate all the time he took to take care of my issue and answer all of my questions. Thank you!

We had a plugged drain and all of our toilets and plumbing were backed up. We called IERNA's because they were recommended to us. This was a Saturday and we weren't sure if they would even respond. From the first contract with them on the phone our anxiety was eased. Tommy showed up when promised and was very courteous and professional. He had the problem solved in no time. I will definitely use them again and I highly recommend this company.

Jelani was great! He identified the issue and worked quickly to fix our kitchen sink. He also gave us a short education to help us in the future. Highly recommend.

Tony Pano was an excellent tech. We use Ierna for maintenance and service when required. Our family has been loyal customers for years and have stayed with them even when others want us to try another AC company. Tony was detailed with the task before him. He checked in with me during his time here to keep me up to date. His expert skills and knowledge cause us to be assured we are in good and capable hands. On Saturday, January 17, 2026, I called Ierna’s Heating and Cooling about an ongoing series of problems with my entire home air system. When I say 'entire,' I mean the outside unit defroster didn't work, and it looked like a ball of ice when we had to run the heater this year. In addition, when the reverse-cycle heater froze, the emergency heat system didn’t even turn on. The system was a mess.
I met with Brett Duty, the Ierna system technician, and walked him through the existing system failures.
The first thing he did was find a small power cable inside the outdoor unit that had rubbed against a copper pipe, damaging its insulation and shorting out when the compressor was running.
Second, he found that the defrost sensor had failed, and it was replaced under warranty.
Third, he found the outside system control board had failed and had to be replaced.
Fourth, he found that all low-voltage power wires were improperly connected due to incorrect color coding.
Fifth, he found that the outside unit's starting capacitor was failing and replaced it.
Sixth, he properly wired the emergency heating unit in the air handler so that it would work.
Seventh, he replaced the burned-out UV light bulb in the air handler
Eighth, he rewired the interior thermostat, using the proper wire codes.
Ninth, he removed 5 years of dirt and grime from the outside unit’s coils.
Some of these issues were found during the first service call, and others after the first problem was corrected. It took three trips for all the parts to arrive, and he was satisfied with the condition of our system.
It has been over a month since he packed up his tools and moved on to the next repair. In that month, our system worked flawlessly. I’ve watched enough technicians work on my system to appreciate an actual HVAC craftsman.
Given the time and effort that went into diagnosing and correcting the numerous issues with my system, I believe that the price I paid for this extended repair was more than reasonable. I also signed up for their Services Agreement so they can catch future problems before they get this bad.

Brett Duty from Ierna’s came out to fix my home blower motor for my A/C and did an outstanding job. He was on time, very knowledgeable, and explained everything clearly. He found the issue quickly and had the system running perfectly again. Honest, professional, and thorough—exactly what you want in an A/C technician. REPLACING A WATER HEATER IN THE ATTIC!!! I received multiple estimates, and Ierna’s came back with the most competitive pricing—without any compromise in quality or service. They arrived at my home the very next day with a new water heater and the repair part for my master shower handle. The technicians, Robert and Esteban, were professional, wore booties, and took great care to protect my home.

In addition to replacing the existing water heater, I also asked them to remove a second, unused water heater tank that had been left in the roof trusses due to the laziness or difficulty of a prior crew. After receiving permission from their office, they carefully measured and strategized the best way to remove both tanks without causing major damage. It was a challenging task, but they completed it successfully.

There was only minor damage to the bathroom door frame and door during the process, which might have been avoided had we removed the bathroom door in advance. Still, I’m extremely satisfied with the work quality, pricing, and promptness provided by Ierna’s.

Their professionalism left such a great impression that I’m now considering using them for their additional air and electrical services. I highly recommend Ierna’s and will definitely use their services again! Thanks Robert and Esteban!! xoxo

Minor warranty call. Devin came out promptly and was a joy to deal with. He quickly identified the problem and reinstalled the wire that had become disengaged.

Devin was very professional and knowledgable. He patiently worked with me to explain not only this issue but also the advantage to their 'Comfort 360' program.

I was so pleased with the entire experience I signed up for their member program and look forward to the peace of mind for the next 10 years.

Highly recommend for repair and when needing a new a/c unit.

All calls to the office were pleasant, professional and helpful. Shout out to Joann for her additional help!

Daynel & Juan(? I am so poor with recalling names) arrived to install the new unit first thing in the morning ready to go. They went about their job and were extremely professional and considerate.

After they finished, we tested the unit. They then cleaned up and hauled away the old equipment and all trash.

Very satisfied.

Sam came out and walked through the replacement options - all with 10 or 12 yr warranties covering even capacitors.

They offered a $500 discount if I scheduled install for the next day. I checked 2 other quotes and Ierna was by far most reasonable for a basic unit (single speed) so I accepted and scheduled install for the next day.

Sam was great to deal with.

Freezing temps overnight and the outside unit stopped.
Julio promptly came that morning to diagnose the issue.

Found the failed part to be $1,000 or more. considering the age of unit (25 yrs) and need for freon and other issues, we both agreed a new unit was in order.

Was very pleased with Julio who was professional, friendly and very patient as he guided me through the issues.

I asked the office to schedule appointment for quote & let them know I would be getting multiple.

The diagnosis charge was applied as a credit on later invoiced service.

I wanted to know if my home had the right water piping, Dillon told me I have up to date piping, but that in my small bath room under the vanity
The turn on & shut off valves needed replaced. Then after checking my electric water heater he said it is rusting out & should be replaced in the near future. He e-mailed me a quote for the repairs needed. Dillon is very knowledgeable & professional. Explains everything with know pressure. Very polite & respectful. I highly recommend IERNA.

My service tech was EXCEPTIONAL! He took his time and checked our unit out from top to bottom , answered all of our questions, presented all of our options and respected our decision. Once we decided what we all three felt was the best option for us he proceeded to get us set up with the sales professionals we needed to consult for our final decision. We have used Irene forever and this will be the second new unit they put in for us if that’s the way we decide to go.

Jose and Adriano were the best techs ever! Friendly, knowledgeable and were so nice to let me watch and ask questions!!! I love the newly installed Daikin 17 seer inverter heat pump unit. It hums.... I had a assessment to determine if I needed a new unit. Moe the tech who did the inspection was outstanding. He gave me all the information I needed to make an educated decision. He was on time and very knowledgeable. He came across as honest and set up an appointment for the next steps. First impressions are great. I will update this review after my appointment to discuss specifics for a new unit. Update: Jess came out to set up our installation and made the process super easy. She was very professional, relatable and informative. She laid out all or options and we chose to have a new HVAC unit installed. The technicians arrived on schedule did the installation and cleaned their work area. They were awesome too. We had our unit inspected by the county to seal the deal and we are so happy. The 10 year parts and labor warranty gives us piece of mind. The unit works beautifully. We couldn't be more happy with the company's service.

Received a confirmation call from Joann earlier today advising that my assigned tech Jelani Benjamin was enroute. Jelani arrived shortly afterwards. He explained how he would be assessing the plumbing issues (sewage backup in shower/slow draining toilet), provide options and a quote, and then proceed per my decision. JELANI EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS! He was very informative and had lots of job knowledge for a young man in his position. His explanations were thorough went beyond my expectations! As a senior person, I treasure speaking those who show genuine concern to add a little patience while insuring I fully comprehend the job at hand. IERNA has been great to me for many years. I love speaking with Joann and Luwanna in the office! Nehemiah Brumfield and Chris Bond did an awesome job installing my new ac unit on 12/11/2024. Let me say this is the best a/c company out there. From the first phone call to the last. The customer appreciation they push is absolutely off the charts. I ended up hiring them to do a major job in my home. Total duct work replacement and new hvac system. All the workers and sales people were above and beyond greatness. Outstanding service technicians! They stayed in constant dialogue with me to determine my desires as they installed the new Daikin Fit A/C system. So far, the system is cooling my house much better than my old Trane system. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a new Heat Pump/AC system to look into Daikin. They have a great 12 year parts, free labor and service call warranty with each new Daikin system. You can't beat that!

A good guy very knowledgeable and responsible. I called him Sunday and he didn't hesitate come and fix it.
