Southern Comfort has installed all my HVAC systems. Luis is professional, easy to reach and has corrected any issues that arise on a timely basis. He is extremely patient when he has to deal with the complexity of dealing with an HOA. He does quality work and has competitive prices.

We hand them replace both our HVAC units In fall of 2018. They did a great job on the install. Had a problem with bedroom side motor controller just recently. Warranty replaced quickly. Very happy with them.

Great and honest people here. They gave me a good estimate to change my water heater to tankless, and although it ended up being more than estimated, I still felt like it was a fair charge. I am pretty handy but I rather not do plumbing on stuff like this. The tank was under the AC in a small closet and I needed them to come take out the old one, and give me access to change the drywall around it, then come back and install the heater. They worked with me and we had hot water the same day. Luis and Analys? were friendly, super professional and very knowledgeable. Luis took the time and answered some questions I had and helped me through the process even gave me pointers on things outside the scope of what he had to do. He just is interested in making you get the best result. Really recommend it. (btw, I didn't get any discounts or anything to write this...it's bc I'm truly happy with the work).

They left our family in humidity for more than 6 hours, would not send the insurance information to the association, and told me I'm on their priority list after I called them to follow up. They never returned and my family including small children stayed in a humid house overnight. They had zero concern for us. Horrible experience.

My wife and I called this business when our HVAC system shut down unexpectedly. They came out and told us, to our surprise, that we had an electrical issue and needed to spend over $1,000 to rewire our system in oder to repair it.

About two months later, we went to use the heater function on our HVAC which had never been an issue and it wouldn’t work at all. We called and emailed Southern Comfort and asked them to come out to inspect the unit for free since we were within our 90 day warranty period.

They immediately resisted and became defensive about the issue being a “new issue” not likely to be covered by their warranty, which we found both odd and off-putting since they hadn’t even inspected the unit before asserting a lack of responsibility. To discourage us from having them even come out to our house to check on the unit, they told us we would likely be charged new fees for any such visit since they were convinced this was a “new issue”.

We ultimately had to hire a different company, which company came out and immediately diagnosed the problem as related to the work Southern Comfort had done. In other words, it should have been covered by the 90 day warranty without question.

I would never use this company again, nonetheless recommend them to anyone. They clearly did a shoddy job and then refused to stand behind their warranty. Color us extremely disappointed and skeptical of some of the other reviews left here.

Main person I dealt with was Luis. He was knowledgeable and was willing to handle my numerous calls/texts with questions. I had new A/C and air handler with in unit U/V light disinfectant system and smart-home thermostat. Everything handled professionally. I would recommend this company.

The house I moved into had numerous electrical and a/c problems. Luis helped me select the right size central unit and a dehumidifier for my home that is economical and efficient. He treated me like family, with respect, reliablity, and concern for my health. Excellent service!! I would definitely recommend Southern Comfort, especially Louis.

I had an AC drain pipe break in the ceiling and a cascade of water dripping from the second floor into the kitchen. Southern Comfort’s Luis Olivera was on the scene within an hour, identified the problem and did an incredible repair job…while making our system more secure and user friendly. We have worked with Southern Comfort for about four years. They have kept our AC units in fine working order, and have also done some minor home repair work for us. Last year they repaired sections of our fence, replaced sections that needed to be replaced, fabricated and installed a new gate, and did some drywall patching/painting of our family room ceiling.

The AC service is the most important work they do for us. Everyone who lives here knows how vital the AC is. We have found Southern Comfort to be very responsive, sending a technician to make necessary repairs as quickly as possible. Their charges for services are reasonable, and they always provide a written estimate for major services to be performed prior to starting the work.

The other think I really like about Southern Comfort is they don’t try to entice customers into buying a service contract, which I have found to be nothing more than a money-making scheme for the seller and a rip-off for the customer. Most AC companies operate this way—I have worked with a couple in the 16 years we have lived in this house—but Southern Comfort does not. They charge a treasonable fee on an as-needed basis and that’s how I like to do business. Our favorite technician, Luis, is very honest and always advises us of the steps we can take to keep our AC units functioning at maximum efficiency. Following his advice helps minimize the service calls, and for that, we are most appreciative.
