WARNING! This is the worst contractor I have ever dealt with. He attempted to repair my mini split unit from a period of July 2017 to January 2018. There were many visits and parts changing. When he could not repair the problem he refused to give me a refund. To add insult to injury he removed the parts that I had paid for. I now have missing parts, no refund, and no air conditioning.

    Buyer beware 😡😡
I am all for small business but now when it comes to skills lacking in customer service is where I draw the line. I called them and they were able to install a new unit in my apartment the outdoor and inside unit. Of course since it’s Miami why would you get what you pay for ? The did not insulate the ductwork. Very important piece as that’s what makes it run correctly duh !
2nd I decided my mom also needed a new unit and since I had a fair experience decided to use them again. My mom paid for half the amount of the a/c upfront and we took care of the other half. This is where Roberts customer skills went out that window. We had to call synchrony a couple of times to get them to charge our a/c card which was less than a day and he was already blowing up my moms phone to get the full amount of the a/c unit upfront without installing it first. Wow. One call two calls three calls he’s stressing out my mom. We finally were able to get synchrony to cooperate. 30 days into the unit it’s not working properly. Instead of diagnosing he simply states he will charge money to even come out. Plain and simple seems as this company knew something else was wrong with the a/c unit or the pipes that needed to be fixed and did not advise the customer what’s the point of paying an “expert” to get it done for you if there not going to do it properly. Regret doing business with this company at all. Over 6k in less than 2 months was given to this company for services performed that are way below par. Go somewhere else we’re your going to be valued as a customer.

very very strange and horrible. Robert (who is at this company) was very nice on the phone, and seemed knowledgeable. I set up the appointment for him to come, but another man from Superior Air Conditioning showed up. He then proceeded to take at least 15 personal phone calls while not doing any work. Then when he was "fixing" aka short circuiting the control panel it emitted this horrible smell. He kept popping off the control panel wall thing saying oh this is crazy, and taking personal phone calls giving phone numbers to people. i thought Ductless Air was fixing my A/C, not hiring another company to do the work. asked the man to stop taking personal phone calls please. Then the man said he'd be back, and I called Robert, who then told me the man left because I was extremely rude (which all I said was can you not take personal phone calls while your fixing the A/C because it seems like you aren't focusing). The man was here an hour taking personal phone calls not doing anything. Then Robert yelled at me and said they can't help me. So to say the least, horrible experience, and in addition to having no A/C i have the smell of something burning in my apartment.

If I could give 6 stars, I would. Called Miami mini splits for service, and discovered we needed a new AC unit. Incredible pricing for QUALITY work! Technicians were very friendly. And even better, we were treated like family. If you need any AC servicing or heating/cooling needs, look no further!

Hi Gloria, I feel you. I had two mini-splits installed in my house Mar 2017. I loved them. But now the bigger of the units is blowing warmish. When i reached out to Robert about this, he quoted me a large $$$$$$ for the service call. I decided to call Mitsubishi Service. Come to find out that Miami Mini Split is NOT a diamond certified contractor. (Their renewal came up in Jan. 2017 and they did not renew) Robert told me they were and that is the only reason I spent a lot of money to get the units from him.
I reached out to Robert to send me a document that certifies they are diamond contractor and haven't heard a thing back!
Yes, buyer beware. And no, Miami Mini Split will not be servicing my units! I got a referral from Mitsubishi for an actual qualified diamond contractor. Good luck

We have used Miami Mini Splits for several years and are very impressed with their quality service and reasonable prices. We have had them install several mini-splits and service many of our existing units. The owner is always available to take our calls and oversees all the work of his talented crews. I highly recommend them.

Miami Mini Splits did a great job on my house! In a place where most people are shady, unreliable, poor quality and predatory in pricing, Miami mini splits is truly a breath of fresh air. Working with Robert has been easy. He is personable, great positive energy, and very communicative. Despite the issues we had with the Permitting process in Biscayne Park (no fault of his), he was persistent, professional and did EVERYTHING as promised. I would recommend him to anyone. He is worth your time and money. On a Friday, His technician got the entire central AC unit removed and the new one installed, and on Saturday his crew put in our mini-split. His workers are punctual, friendly and take the time to explain what they are doing as they go. Thank you again for being such a great company!

Our system is over 15 years old, and had a tricky problem with its cooling efficiency in stage 2. Brian did a fantastic job to diagnose as well as fix the walve operation defects that caused line freeze up and drop in cooling. Highly recommend the COOL BREEZE AC CORP. for any of your A.C. related problems

Was referred to this company by a friend so I was very excited to talk to them, ask questions, and get a quote from them.

My property is considered a new construction with 2 new AC units and new installation of ductwork, etc so it’s a decent opportunity for them or so I thought .

I’ve been waiting a week for a proposal and having to chase them and repeatedly ask when I would get a quote from them . Like any consumer , the worst feeling is having to chase a company for them to have your business.

I got quotes from 3 other AC contractors within 2-3 days!! So unfortunately I have to give Cool Breeze a low rating . They either are not interested in my business or maybe I am not large enough of an opportunity for them. If that is case , then I wouldn’t want to do business with a company that doesn’t think your important enough anyways.

Cool Breeze AC mechanic, Alex immediately diagnosed a clog drain line. My AC was leaking water. Alex checked the unit, cleared the drain and resolved the problem. He was neatly dressed, very professional and courteous. Cool Breeze promptly provided same day service. Highly recommended.

They just don’t care. I have requested to do maintenance of my two AC units and look into a clicking noise inside my linear air vent. The guy did not even examine it, just told me it was an electrical problem because it was much easier than digging deeper into a problem. I paid them $400+ for a simple visit and then had to find a company that was able to fix an issue with the vent simply because they care about customers.

When my AC broke down they sent someone over to fix it within the hour. He was friendly, professional, and knowledgable. He got it working again pretty quickly, and the cost of not sitting in Miami heat was fair and affordable. I would never consider using another AC company after receiving their service.

George Lopez did a great job. Even with late arrival ( he was given the wrong address) , very thorough and informative. Very good communicator.
Gave us information we had never heard before about our system.
    Pleasant and articulate.
Recommend for anyone in south florida.

The technician was extremely knowledgeable and took his time to explain everything he was doing and checking for. Based off of the diagnosis he came up with several recommendations to address our issues and took his time to answer all of the questions we had.

My air was broken and I found this other company (which shall not be named) but the unit was defective and they refused to come back to fix it for another 5 days. IN SUMMER. but I was patient and they came and put some coolant after I TOLD THEM there was something wrong with the inside unit. 2 days later. Broken again. Fed up, I called cool breeze and THANK GOD. REAL customer service and an ownership that CARES about their clients. Couldn’t be happier with my new A/C and install. Super fast quote and installation! Thank you cool breeze!

I agree with those who gave Cool Breeze a negative review and would not recommend using them. I had used them several times as they put their sticker on my new A/C unit so it was simple to call them. However I had to call them several times to correct the very same problem. The final straw was they serviced my unit in July and sought to charge more than double what was quoted to my tenant who called them. Although they agreed back in July to accept what my tenant said he was quoted by them, when the very same problem happened yet again in October they said they would not come to service it until I paid the unpaid balance and feigned no knowledge of my conversation with the service person with whom I spoke and agreed to pay the quoted price with absolutely no mention by him of any unpaid balance remaining. I was a repeat customer. I can only imagine how they treat new customers.

This is a terrible company. I originally wrote a review sometime ago, but I think they must have paid Google to remove it.

I originally installed my unit in November of 2010.

By January of 2011 I had issues with the unit. They came out and backflushed... but by May of 2011 it had problems and stopped working again. After *many* calls, they finally agreed to change the compressor in the AC.

After this, I still foolishly called them, as I didn't know much about ACs at the time. In February and May of 2012, the AC stopped working again, and each time they would come out, they would charge hundreds of dollars. Sometimes simply to backflush the unit, which takes about 10 minutes, and is very simple to do.

At one point, I also asked them to acid clean the coils, and they charged $375, which is a completely ridiculous price.

I have since learned to backflush the AC myself, which ends up solving most of the problems. Also once per year, i acid wash the unit. I realized that the pump and bucket, and hoses you actually need to do this cost less than the $375 they charge to come out. I convinced my HOA to buy these tools and service our own ACs in common areas, which we now do.

When issues came up, I started using other contractors -- such as Triple C repair -- to do examine the unit.

In 90% of cases, my AC (water based heat pump) just needed a back flush due to sediment in South Florida water. Once a year it needs an acid flush.

Every now and then the high / low pressure switch needs to be changed, which ought to cost about $75 (it's no more than $10 or $15 at a local plumbing supply store).

What bothers me most of all (10 years later!) was that they had absolutely no shame, coming back 6 months after a brand new install ($3k) and charging me hundreds of dollars to do these simple repairs.

They have an attitude of complete entitlement.

I learned about how this company rips people off the hard way by slowly learning how to do these things myself. Don't trust them. Use other contractors.
