We scheduled an appointment with Action Air for 10am-1pm, the technician showed up at 1:40pm- may have been held up at another job. He quickly solved our AC problem and our house was cool and habitable again within 30 minutes. Thank you Action Air for sending out helpful, competent, and kind staff members to aid our issue! Kline really made our day!

Joe (owner) is the most genuine and honest being and goes above and beyond to give the best service. I have has 15 years experience working with Joe. BEST OF THE BEST! I am adding to this review a year later. I Have now recommended Action Air to several friends. I have received several calls telling me "kelli you were right -there is no one as caring and honest as Joe." I assure you taht you will be 100% satisfied with the honesty and integrity of Joe and his team. I have lived in central FL for 30 years - this is a 5 STAR operation, unlike no others.

I have used Action Air for 15 years, they have always helped to the best of their ability. They try to match the equipment to your budget. The servicemen are always polite and usually very knowledgeable. The office staff is helpful and friendly. Joe Thompson is the greatest. To get the best service I suggest getting the annual service contract.

When my AC broke 2 weeks ago, I called multiple companies and truly no one replied. A friend of mine gave me the number for Action Air Of Florida. I called in and I spoke to Joe who is the owner of the company and they scheduled someone to be at my home the next morning. My Air Conditioner upstairs has always had problems so I spent sometime with the technician asking questions and explaining to him all of the issues I have had in the past. He ran some tests and was able to identify the issue, which was a damaged AC compressor.

Once i knew the issue I called to shop it around, but Joe gave me a great price. A couple days later the guys were back and repaired my ac issue.

All of the guys were clean, respectful and on time. All wore masks and booties to cover their shoes when they came in my home. Joe called me to let me know when the guys will be there and was clear with his communication.

His expertise was evident as he replaced my interior hair handler in a very efficient mannor. Not only did he replace my air handler, he was very informative and helped me understand the maintanence needs to prevent issues with the new system. Action Air was able to diagnosis and resolve a problem two other AC companies couldn't and I've been using them ever since. My last experience was with John when he came to do routine maintenance a few weeks ago. I described a concern I had and he went above and beyond the routine maintenance to troubleshoot and address the issue. Rather than trying to sell me a new unit, he assured me my system is fine. I have used Action Air since we first arrived in Naples, FL 1 year ago. They reviewed our A/C and placed us on a maintenance program. After the summer of 2021 our A/C needed to be replace and they were fair priced and extremely efficient. Yesterday we had an electric storm in the area and our A/C was effected. I called at 10:00pm to the Action office and within 20 minutes a technician (Zach) called back. He helped me over the phone and said he would be at my condo the next day by 11:00am. He called 1 hour before arriving and was at my condo exactly at 11:00am. He knew immediately what the problem was. He fixed the problem within 15 minutes, checked the unit and all is fine. Zach was professional, polite and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend Action Air to all my friends. They are the best.

Have used Action Air for 20 years now. Both at home and business. Joe has always taken care of our issues promptly and efficiently. They are a company you can trust with your AC repairs.

I called this place for a quote and after the technician came and gave me the quote and said it was free of charge he then came back and said he has to charge me 120 for coming to my house witch I understand but that's not what was told me before. So I called the office and the owner was very rude to me about the whole situation. I DONT RECOMMEND

Overall, I have been happy with this company. They generally show up exactly on time, and I received a timely call the one time they had to reschedule to let me know. Their techs have always addressed my issues to the best of their abilities while being very professional. Moreover, I sincerely appreciate how quickly a tech is available when I have issues that need to be addressed, and that all of the techs have been great to work with. I switched from a much larger company to Action Air to be treated like a customer instead of a number, and to have someone truly listen when I call instead of assuming I’m just another idiot customer who doesn’t understand what he’s talking about. I’m well aware I’m not an HVAC expert, and taking the time to listen helps secure my business because synthesizing all of the information I provide with your understanding of the technology results in efficient resolution of my issues. Action Air has installed two units for me, and they perform 100% of the maintenance on both.

I highly recommend Action Air of Orlando! Joe was extremely detailed in helping me prevent further leak damage and advised me how I could dry out a sopping wet air return until my service call (over the phone at no charge). My actual service call was such a pleasant experience as well. My service technician was Bruce and he was amazingly polite, so helpful with advice on maintenance I can do on my own, diagnosed and repaired the unit with thoughtful detail! All of this excellent customer service at a very reasonable price!!Thank you Joe and Bruce! I’m a customer for life!

An office worker called me to give me the name of the technician who will be servicing my unit. Hector arrived shortly afterwards.He was polite and professional. Asked me if I had any questions and preceded servicing my unit.Upon completion, he told me everything was ok. This is my second year and intend to continue with them.

I’ve been using Action Air for a few years now. Cameron came over to my house today and checked out my AC system and advised me about the air conditioner filter that I’m using. He was very helpful and very efficient. I will not hesitate to use Action Air again in the future.

Action Air installed our unit several years ago and we have been doing the semi-annual maintenance plan with them since then. Three visits ago, the tech came out but did not clean our drain line during the visit. It clogged up a few weeks later and I called them for service. They tried to charge for the service but I explained that the tech did not perform it last time. Joe agreed to waive the charge. Fast forward to September 2022, when I called to renew the semi-annual maintenance plan. I was charged $95 for the technician to service our unit. I scheduled the second visit in April 2023 but was charged full price again. The technician said he was instructed to do that. I spoke to the reception at Action Air Orlando and she said the semi-annual maintenance plan was still offered and she was not sure why I was charged full price. I spoke to Joe today where he reminded me about the time that they came back out for the visit when our drain was clogged. He told me that he refused to offer me the semi-annual maintenance plan and I am responsible for the full balance. I never would have scheduled the visit in April of this year had anyone there told me about that. The technicians are very pleasant and knowledgeable but I do not recommend working with Joe. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

2025 Update: Another great interaction this year with Cameron from Action Air. Cameron was very professional and resolved all my issues this year with the quality of work I've always experienced from the company.

I've used Action Air twice now and they've come through for me.

Most recently our AC unit went out it was over 14 years old. I explained to Action Air that I had out-of-town company and they got my AC back up and running the next day by replacing the outside compressor and then returned when it worked for me to complete the install.

About five years ago, we had an air handler in an awkward location that needed to be repaired and the service technician worked all day to de-install, repair and re-install the handler.

I've needed AC help twice and both times they've come through for me.

Parker and his team won my Commerical business by a landslide. Naturally, there were some hurdles to overcome. They were handled with Grace and professionalism. Our company has many locations and FL and I will be telling all my colleagues in my company to call Parker at Action Air to deal with any HVAC issues that come across our Galleries. Great Job Parker and Team Action Air!

I do not have enough great things to say about action air and their team. They have helped me with two different issues and I am beyond satisfied with both appointments. From the lovely lady who answers the phone, to Joe who returns calls very quickly to schedule, they are all great. My first technicians were Carlos and Hector. What a great set of guys who were punctual, professional, neat, and experts in their craft. The care they took to keep the workspace clean was incredible. Just amazing customer service!
Today, Cameron came out to clear a clog in my A/C drain. He too was punctual, neat, and very professional.
I am dropping my old A/C company and I will only use Action Air because of these great people!!!
