Nate with Diamond Air Conditioning and Heating found the issue and was able to resolve it within 25 minutes. He was efficient and professional. I had been struggling to have the A/C repaired for months with different technicians. Nate was able to identify the problem and repair the unit immediately. Thank you Diamond for sending a technician who is skilled and knowledgeable!

Ryan was very very professional!!!! He was able to fix my a/c issues and afterwards he carefully explained exactly what he did. And he also gave me a great quote to get a brand new a/c installed. I will definitely be in contact with Ryan on anything a/c related.

Tareq did an amazing job on getting my unit up and running. He came early which was much appreciated when you have no AC! He explained everything to me in detail. Used my Home Warranty and no issues. Communication with the company was great. Will use them for my future hvac needs!

This company was referred by Home Choice Warranty. Service guy showed up as stated. It’s been a week later and they still haven’t sent the report as to what needs to be replaced to Home Choice Warranty. I’ve called the service guy Dean several times with no answer or call back. I’ve called the company several times with no answer, I’ve been able to speak to a woman several times and her response is “I’ll pass it on to my manager”. Still with no follow up or report being submitted to Home Choice Warranty. If this was summer in Florida I’d be super pissed!

Had a fantastic experience with Diamond. Our tech Dean took his time to figure out the root cause which ended up not being an A/C issue. We had multiple previous contractors come out and not one had taken the time to investigate. I’d highly recommend and will request Dean in the future.

2/20-UPDATED REVIEW- My Faith has been Restored!! It’s not what you do when everything is going well, BUT it’s what you do when things go bad. I received a call from Sam , Operations Manager and he addressed my earlier issues and has restored my faith in their ability to make things right!! He’s committed to getting the A/C repaired and apologized for the poor customer service experience. The new part has been ordered and I have a scheduled appointment with the technician for Monday. I’m very pleased with the way Sam reached out and addressed my concerns. I truly appreciate him reaching out to me and addressing my concerns and the way his employee mis-handled the situation. I’ll definitely do business with him again.

Earlier Today 2/20/2026 —Unsatisfactory Customer Service
My initial experience with this company was very good. However I’m not sure what has happened over the past few months but my current experience is extremely poor. This company has become unreliable and unresponsive when trying to contact them. They never showed up for the initial service appointment on 2/13 and when I called them they said that they never received my claim from the Home Warranty company. The technician finally came out on Tuesday 2/17 and made a diagnosis which as of today 2/20 we’ve not had any follow up. I contacted them again today for an update and spoke with, Ashley who was extremely unhelpful and rude. She placed me on a 9 minute hold and never came back to let me know that she was waiting to hear back from the technician. I hung up and called back 2x just to get her on the phone. I requested to speak with her supervisor and was denied. This is NOT the level of service that expected from her or this company.
I still haven’t received any response from her or anyone else about the status of my service request. I reached out to the Home Warranty Company to let them know about this poor customer experience. The Home Warranty Company advised that Diamond A/C hasn’t responded to any of the URGENT requests they have sent.

    OLD REVIEW- 2025
Ryan was amazing when he came out to our home. He took time to explain and show us what he was fixing and we are very happy with his level
    Of professionalism.

We had a great experience. Ryan came out through our home warranty to repair our furnace, added a UV light, and did a full cleaning. He was very friendly, explained everything clearly, and walked me through what he was doing.

Service man Jshaun was very professional and courteous. He was able to diagnose my problem quickly and got my furnace up and running. Very happy with the service. Highly recommend.

Super impressed with HVAC technician Tony from Diamond Air! Showed up on time and was receptive to all questions. I was most impressed with the fact that he diagnosed the issue (Outside unit fan motor), had frequently required parts as spare in the truck, worked immediately with the Home Warranty company and got the system working! Another impressive part was there was absolutely no upselling although he cautioned me certain aspects as out system is 20+ years old! I now have Tony in my contacts for all future HVAC needs! Highly recommend! Thank you Tony and Diamond Air.

Tony was very professional and thoughtful with the information that he provided me with concerning the work on my air condition.

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

My HVAC warranty appointment was scheduled for 1/22/26. The technician showed up well ahead of the scheduled time, and I had to FaceTime with my 14-year-old son while the technician inspected why our heat wasn’t working.

The technician collected the $75 service call fee and told me he would submit the work order and follow up. It’s now 2/5/26 and the work order still hadn’t been submitted.

When you call the company directly, if you’re lucky enough to get someone to answer, the woman on the phone speaks in a monotone, puts you on hold, and claims they’re “waiting on the warranty company.” Meanwhile, the warranty company told me they had received nothing from Diamond Air. When I called Diamond Air back, they asked me to do a three-way call. After putting me on hold again, the warranty company then stated they had received the information 10 minutes earlier and were working on it.

This is completely unacceptable and beyond frustrating — especially when I’ve had zero heat in my home this entire time. Customer service is nonexistent. I genuinely don’t understand how this company is still in business.

I was assigned Diamond Air through my home warranty. They told me at my inspection (which I scheduled after my HVAC maintenance guy told me that my HVAC was leaking coolant and would need to be replaced), that it wasn’t likely that my warranty would approve a brand new HVAC for free due to the refrigerant leak in my 22 year old HVAC unit despite its age and the fact that it was an R-22 unit. They said they could request an upgrade and I’d pay half and my warranty would pay half for a brand new system. I agreed because I didn’t want to deal with further repair costs on a 22 year old system.

Fast forward to after the new HVAC was installed, and I noticed that the condensation drain line is leaking water all over my AC closet. I called Diamond Air and left a message. I also emailed Sam at Diamond Air. No one bothered to call me or email me back, so a couple of days later I called again. The woman on the phone seemed efficient as I was speaking to her and immediately scheduled them to come back out but said I’d have to wait until the next day. This whole time I used puppy pads to absorb the water. Someone came, cleaned out the pipe and screwed the pipe down and said to call if there were any further issues.

A couple of days later, it was one of the coldest nights we had experienced in awhile. Due to this, I turned the heat on. Over a span of hours (despite the HVAC running and saying it was heating the house), it noticeably never got warmer inside. In fact, overnight it got colder. Unbeknownst to me for awhile (the days prior were much more of a neutral temp) my heat wasn’t working and was wasting electricity instead as it kept trying to heat and ran for hours. I called again and left a message, but I never heard back. I called my warranty back and asked for a different company to handle this situation further since I don’t seem to be getting through. My warranty said they had no record of Diamond Aire replacing my AC and had not paid anything out to them. So I’m now stuck with a broken HVAC and hoping that the next technician my warranty sends will leave me in a better position than the brand new HVAC that leaks and doesn’t heat. Disappointed in this experience.

Jshaun went way above and beyond to make SURE my heater would be operating for this winter! A unique system (aka: cheap and ancient) that needed to be taken apart, bit by bit. He came out- spent over two hours working with it, researching it, escalating requests, etc., - submitted his findings, and started down the road to his next job (under the pretense he’d be back as soon as the info we needed was provided). Dude called me less than 10 mins after leaving and said “I’m coming back because I feel there’s more I can do”.

If THAT level of follow-through doesn’t tell you something right there, I don’t know what will.

He came back and spent another solid chunk of time doing what he needed to- and got it done. (Currently waiting on the new parts- but you get what I’m saying: it’s all but done).

This company - and especially this specific technician, JShaun? A+ five stars, that’s FOR SURE.

What I love about smaller / family-owned companies like this is the level of service… they truly make sure each and every person is taken care of- they’re part of the same community as us, and take care of us as such.

You can’t go wrong here. Give them your business. You’ll be impressed, I promise you.

I filed a claim through my home warranty company when my AC stopped working, and Diamond Air Conditioning was assigned. Two technicians recommended cleaning the unit and installing a UV light, which I paid for. After the visit, I inspected the unit and found it still dirty. After leaving a negative review, they contacted me, asking me to remove it in exchange for coming back to clean the unit properly—something that should have been done in the first place. While they returned, the AC still had mold and debris, and I was falsely told they had “done me a favor” by fixing the AC since it supposedly wasn’t covered by the warranty. In reality, the warranty company had approved a capacitor replacement, which Diamond Air Conditioning never completed.

Four days later, the AC failed again. A technician diagnosed a bad coil that needed replacement and stated the unit still had mold and had not been cleaned, despite the prior technician claiming it had been cleaned twice. The technician assured me they would submit the coil replacement request to the warranty company. The following day, the office called, stating the coil was ready for replacement. However, another technician arrived, re-diagnosed the system instead of replacing the coil, and claimed the AC needed full replacement due to a broken line, which had supposedly been missed earlier. While working, the technician caused a loud “pop,” further damaging the unit. When I expressed frustration, my concerns were dismissed, and I was told mistakes happen, the office miscommunicates, and technicians “don’t always do things right.” The technician even asked me if my life was perfect.

By Thursday, I discovered Diamond Air Conditioning had never submitted the coil replacement request as stated. Instead, they falsely claimed to the warranty company that they had attempted a repair but couldn’t complete it because I “wasn’t home long enough”—an outright lie confirmed via email from the warranty company. Furthermore, they stopped answering my calls unless I used a different number. Ultimately, the warranty company reassigned the case to a different vendor.

Diamond Air Conditioning is disorganized, unprofessional, and unreliable. Their front office ignored my number, their communication was terrible, and their technicians failed to resolve the issue while damaging my AC unit further, resulting in $12,000 in repair costs.

Under Florida Statute §501.204, the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA) prohibits unfair or deceptive acts or practices in the conduct of any trade or commerce. Diamond Air Conditioning’s false claims, negligence, and failure to provide agreed-upon services clearly violate this statute. Additionally, under Florida contract law, failure to perform services as promised and causing damages to my unit constitutes a breach of contract and negligence.

Thank goodness we have a personal attorney, as Diamond Air Conditioning will be hearing from mine soon.

See pictures unfortunately I can’t add the recorded videos and recording with the emails because they have personal information.

I ordered a unit from the company back in the third of October. ETA was 6-8 weeks from the manufacturer. Here we are in January and no unit.

I’m ok that delays occur. The reason for the poor review is that I have called this company at least bi-weekly since mid December to get an update on the status of the unit.

Ashley, the receptionist is an absolute joy. I am confident that all messages have been relayed. Her manager…..well I wouldn’t know because he has yet to return any of my calls to give me an idea of where we are with this unit.

I live in Canada. I understand that delays occur so timed my visit to my Florida home for 10 weeks after expected delivery. I flew down here and this gentleman is still not taking my calls despite message after message.

The service has been disappointing to say the very least but I’m 10 weeks in on a specialty order. Too late to start anew.

Avoid this company at all costs!

I had an absolutely terrible experience with Diamond Air Conditioning And Heating LLC (4642 W Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL). On August 11, 2025, I called them because my AC in Clermont stopped cooling. Their technician claimed it was a leak in the evaporator coil (which was under manufacturer warranty) and charged me $1,300 in labor to replace it. The coil was swapped on August 15th, and the AC worked for just a few hours before breaking down again.

When I called back, they only showed up on August 17th, and suddenly the story changed—the problem was now supposedly with the refrigerant lines under my house, requiring an even more expensive fix. This means their initial diagnosis was either flat-out wrong or deliberately incomplete. I was left with a non-functional AC and a $1,300 bill for nothing.

To make matters worse, after I asked for a refund, they stopped answering my calls completely. The technicians then abandoned me by telling me to “call my home warranty,” left the AC unit unsealed, and didn’t even cover up the holes they dug while checking for leaks (Pictures attached).

Extremely unprofessional, dishonest, and careless. I feel ripped off and taken advantage of.

Save yourself the headache and money—stay far away from Diamond Air Conditioning And Heating LLC.

My A/C mini split stop working and give E1 code on the screen. I filed a claim through my Choice home warranty company. Diamond Air Conditioning and Heating LLC was assigned. Dean came on Jan 19, 2026 and start run diagnostics. He said that unit has Freon leak and he will need to open the outside unit to find leak. So he told me that usually compressor is leaking and to fix that it will cost around $3k, because warranty will not cover or my other option to replace unit for $2.5K. Also he told me that Choice Home Warranty will not cover any of those expenses. I end up paying $75.00 fee and let technician go, because I was not ready spending this much money for 4 years old unit that I paid with installation $1900.00.
I spoke to Choice Home Warranty and explained situation and they said that they will find another company to check my A/C. Tech from Sears came and found that outside main module (brain) did not communicate with inside unit and that cause E1 code. He got approved by Choice Home Warranty company to replace that unit and cover the labor. When tech from Sears came back to replace that module in outside unit he found snake inside that module that cause this communication error code. Now my A/C is back and working. See photo evidence.
So, I would not trust Diamond Air Conditioning and Heating LLC after that experience.

Quick one: I had a same-day AC fix last week and called PLANET AIR HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING LLC. They were really thorough and right on time. no sticker shock too. Got a same-day appointment which saved me. Two thumbs up.
