Richard went above and beyond to thoroughly answer all my questions and provide education on the service and equipment installed. He was kind, detailed, knowledgable and seemed to genuinely care about providing excellent service.

david was on time and quick! he also tried to save us as much money as possible and that just showed great integrity. we will definitely be calling mills air again
-
The team who installed the unit got the job done in a timely manner.
My unit stopped working so when I called, they sent out Manuel. Manuel was helpful, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. He deserves employee of the year!! -
We will always use Mills Air due to their commitment to professionalism and standards of service. Daniel is always exceptional!

Mills Air’s technicians and service staff are always professional and efficient. My brand new AC was leaking. I contacted the warranty department, and Mills Air sent out a tech immediately. The tech worked on the system for 2-3 hours, pinpointed and fixed the leak, purged the system and refilled it with fresh refrigerant. Great job!

I contacted Mills Air as they installed the new unit in Feb '22. The problem was water on the floor below the air handler, and quite a bit of mold on the evaporater. The serviceman arrived on time, and told us replacing the evaporator would not be much more than the cleaning of it, so we went with that. He also told us that the Pan was installed incorrectly, and that may have contributed to the mold problem. We agreed to his recomendations and arranged for the service.
When the work was done, and the bill presented, this is where the communication became difficult. The office told me the Pan was replaced, but the service man said he did not bring one nor do anything about the Pan. I asked the office to add to the invoice that the Pan issue was fixed, and waited for the invoice correction. After a few days I called the office, asking for the corrected invoice so I could pay the bill.
A few weeks passed when I received an email requesting payment. I bought up the Pan issue, but was met with pressure to pay the bill without answering me about the Pan, and changing the Pan would be an expensive job.
Later, another person from the office called me with a very harsh and threatening tone that if payment was not made he was going to take action. I don't think he was going to break my leg, but it sounded like the lecture was going in that direction. I said I simply need clarification on the Pan, and there was no cooperation on that question.
I contacted Carrier about the issue, they gave me the names of some other authorized service companies, and after a couple of days the Pan issue was cleared up by the second Companie's tech, that it was OK and should not be a problem. Other than the incorrect tape used on the repair, all checked out fine.
What made the whole situation more difficult than it should have been was the Office of Mills giving me different messages about the Pan, if it was a problem, and if it had been repaired or not, and they did not want to work with it because it was a big job.
The threatening tone of Mill's bill collector only added to the tension.
After the check it over from the second company, it was confirmed the repair was done correctly. Invoice # 97855773
I see Mills responded saying they have no record of this, FALSE. This is consistant where one employee told me the Pan was replaced, and another told me it was not. I can easily provide information on my payment, invoice or whatever needed, but everything I said is accurate about the bad experience with Mills AC repair. -
Brian was absolutely amazing. Super guy very trustworthy and he knows his stuff. I would recommend in a minute!

I have been using Mill's Air Conditioning for my periodical maintenance on my AC unit for a couple of years, and have been pretty satisfied up until now. They serviced my AC last on December 3, 2024. A couple of months later I noticed mold developing at the joints in my vinyl plank flooring. After further investigation I found that water residue was coming up through the joints when pressing down in some areas. I found the cause of the water under my flooring to be coming from the condensation pump, which is located under the air handler in a closet in the center of my home. I found the condesation drain pipe resting on top of the pump and not positioned properly inside the drain port on the pump. I immediately began to investigate the matter only to discover that the water had seeped underneath my flooring from one end of the house to the other. If it wasn't for my flooring being waterproof, I would have noticed the water leak sooner, since it would have caused my flooring to buckle. I immediately notified Mill's Air, although it was a Saturday, so I just left a message. Their service manager, Ralph, contacted me promptly on Monday to discuss the matter. In this discussion, I was asked what I would want them to do for me. I told him that I would want them to do for me what they would want done for themselves. Ralph told me that if it was his home, he would have noticed it sooner. I was told a few days later that the tech couldn't be certain if he replaced the drainpipe properly or not. Several days later I spoke with the general manager, Michael Antica, who seemed to clearly be defensive, and decided to take the position that regardless of whether the tech failed to replace the drainpipe properly or not, it is not their problem because I would have noticed the problem sooner if I had replaced my AC filter at the "recommended" 30 day interval instead of waiting to change it at 2 months. The fact is that the damage was done, and the flooring and baseboards needed to be removed, after 30 days of a steady drip, and they are using a technicality to shirk their responsibility to me. At first I tried to salvage my flooring to the best of my ability, in an effort minimize my costs/losses, but unfortunately, the removal process caused damage to them that made them unusable. Plus there is a mold/mildew issue that would require most, if not all of the flooring to be removed in order to address it properly. The last word from Michael Antica after discussing it with the owner is that I can basically go pack sand. He told me that they don't feel like it's their responsibility because I didn't catch it sooner. He told me that they are okay with me filing a claim with my insurance and allowing them to attempt to recover the costs through subrogation. I understand how businesses feel like they need to protect themselves from people who would try to take advantage of them, but that is absolutely not the case here. I had purchased and installed this flooring myself 2 years ago, and was very happy with it, and really not looking forward ripping it out and replacing it with the exact same material. However, I am more angry that these people lack the principles and morals to take care of a problem caused by their technician, and are okay with me having to shoulder the burden of going through my insurance company, and to have to pay the deductable out of my own pocket. Their initial offer to me was to refund my money for the service contract, and to offer to install a UV light in my air handler for free, which as generous as that may seem is a fraction of the costs that I will have to incur to have my flooring replaced, let alone the major inconvenience this is causing me and my family. As far as I can tell, for the most part I would say that Mills Air does a decent job when it comes to servicing air conditioners. Everyone makes mistakes, and I don't hold any ill will toward the technician in the event of this incident. My problem is how they behave after the mistake. FAIL!!!!!

I contacted Mills Air to troubleshoot a Nest generation 2 thermostat control panel that wasn't powering on. The technician arrived and replaced the Nest thermostat with the original thermostat, removed the relay and then surfed his phone for two hours before he charged us $600 and told us to call him to return to install a replacement relay. The cost would be $300 more. This is what he left behind in the air handler of a 2 year old, $700000 house...I presume he thought that people who can afford expensive houses can afford to pay for poor service and believe anything they're told. I contacted Nest directly and they helped me install the Nest thermostat for free. Oh, and the tech didn't even have the respect to take off his dirty boots before we walked around my house on carpeted floors and climbed into the air handler closet.

I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Mills Air! From the moment I got the quote to the installation, everything was fast, professional, and seamless. Today they replaced both my internal and external units in my 2-floor home, and the entire process was handled with incredible efficiency.
A huge thank you to Marco, my technician, who did an outstanding job. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and made sure everything was done perfectly. The service was beyond amazing, quick, clean, and stress-free.
If you’re looking for reliable AC service, I 100% recommend Mills Air. They truly went above and beyond! -
Daniel was very professional, thorough and courteous, he explained everything he was doing step by step. I will definitely request that he performs all my maintenance in the future. This was one of my best experiences with all the A/C companies that I have dealt with.

Mills Air LLC - Avoid at all costs!
We bought our pre-construction home 3 years ago and have been dealing with endless issues ever since. Both our HVAC units (Carrier and Lennox) were improperly installed and have been a nightmare. Their maintenance is negligent - they claim work was done but we had no access to filtration, and they left wires exposed outdoors. The electrical work is shoddy and dangerous.
We've had at least 15 service calls, and still, the units fail. Most recently, tech Carlos came out, diagnosed a short circuit that burned our thermostat, and it turns out the unit wiring was exposed the whole time. This is unacceptable. Do not trust Mills Air LLC with your home repairs. We're extremely disappointed and frustrated.

Mills Air LLC - Unprofessional and Unwilling to Take Responsibility
I'm writing this review as a warning to others. Mills Air LLC has failed to provide adequate service and has demonstrated a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. We've had repeated issues with our HVAC units, and despite multiple service calls, the problems persist.
Recently, Tech Carlos was dispatched to our residence, and it was clear he was aware of the payment situation. I explicitly stated in English, Spanish, and even Sign Language that I would not pay for service related to prior service neglect and poor quality work. I requested a supervisor to review his work and I would be more than happy to submit a payment that day, but instead of addressing the issue, the supervisor called and hung up on me. Guess he didn’t like that I matched his condescending tone and responses
ReService Date 11/21
11/25 Payment was made
invoice number-107462700
All I asked is for a supervisor to inspect the repairs Carlos made plus his ASSESSMENT OF THE INSTALLATION OF THE UNIT ELECTRICAL AND AIR FILTRATION. BTW LEARN TO COACH YOUR STAFF UP, it gets old hearing the
Other tech blaming the prior tech’s quality and knowledge of the field. 🎻
I've spoken to Von, a former employee, who has shared the company's questionable practices. It's clear Mills Air LLC prioritizes taking advantage of customers over providing quality service.
I'm disappointed and frustrated but not surprised with the lack of accountability and professionalism displayed by Mills Air LLC. Do not trust them with your home repairs. #MillsVictim -
I would give Luis R 5 stars - he did a great job. But, Mills Air will not get my business again. My A/C system is 10 years old. It’s been running like a champ. I signed up for their inspection and maintenance plan because I want to keep it good for as long as possible. Josh came out and serviced my unit for the rnaintenance and told me all the pressures and Freon were in good order and cleaned my unit and recommended a UV light to prevent further bacterial buildup on my air handler. He also cleaned this. Less than a week later my air was blowing hot. I called Mills Air back and they said my coil leaked all the Freon out and I needed to replace the coil. They wouldn’t take any responsibility for it even though everything checked out perfect less than a week prior. I wrote the company a letter about it and got NO REPLY. Bad business!!!!!!!!

Technician was super careful to check EVERYTHING on both A/C systems, explain what he found documented with pictures research text and options. He was on time for the appointment (really appreciated that) and did not rush through the inspection. The maintenance call was included in my package. If Mills Air allows, he will be my tech of choice moving forward. Kudos!

I recently had my AC replaced by Ryan from Mills Air, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, the customer service was outstanding—friendly, responsive, and always willing to answer my questions. The team paid close attention to detail, making sure everything was done correctly and efficiently. Their professionalism really stood out, and the quality of the work was excellent. I would definitely recommend Mills Air to anyone in need of AC replacement or service!

I am extremely satisfied with Mills Air who consistently provided outstanding customer service throughout my complete air conditioning replacement. The entire team was awesome and super friendly to work with. From the moment I started working with Steve Willis (Service Mgr) I knew I hired an amazing team that would work with me to get my system replaced the very next day which they did. I was most impressed with Mills Air team’s ability to quickly address any concerns and they worked extremely hard to ensure customer satisfaction. Lead tech David G and support tech Terry C were the BEST so please request them for your next job and I am confident they will not let you down.
I would give them more stars if I could. Mills Air has earned my trust and respect for which I am now a forever, loyal lifetime customer! This experience reminds me of how things used to be where everyone takes pride in their work and they are not satisfied until you are. Many thanks, I could not be more grateful for their work ethic and commitment to get everything right. Great Job Mills Air! -
The AC went out at our house. My friend said he uses Mills, and they always seem to do him good. So, they sent out a tech. He found the issue. I knew the system needed replacing. I told the tech that Frank Gay tried to tell my elderly, disabled Uncle 14k, and that was a great deal because it was half price. The tech told me that's ridiculous. That Mills was way less expensive. So their guy Alex was coming out to give us an estimate. He called me on his way to our house. He said Mills is waaaay lower in price than what Frank Gay costs. He gets here and looks me in the eyes and told me 14k. I couldn't do it that day. But I texted him a few days later, asking him why he said they were much less expensive than the 14k, but he them quoted me 14k. He responded not even 2 minutes later, saying they can do it for 10k. Ladies and Gentlemen.... that right there tells me exactly what kind of people these guys are. Nah, I'm good. I did find a company...1st of all didn't charge me $100 just to come look at it. But they didn't make me feel like I was prey. COOL TODAY... they seem to be straight up. I'll never ever do business with Mills. Have a great day

After vetting 6 HVAC residential providers, we would highly recommend Mills Air for heat pump quotation & installation!
My reasons are:
- Sales: Steve Willis was knowledgeable, professional, keen to listening, & ultimately found the right system that met our needs at a competitive price.
- Installation: Dave G. & Terry were on time, quietly efficient, attentive, very professional & respectful to me & our property.
- Communication: Mills is very streamlined & timely with keeping one informed & responsive to any and all questions. We did not have to continually follow up to get a response like we did with the other providers.
Ultimately, we are quite pleased with the experience we have had to date with Mills Air and look forward to working with them to keep our new system working well! -
The sales rep came out to give me a quote for a new 3.5 ton AC unit at 6:30pm. He was quick and polite, and was able to have installers at the house the next morning. Installers were friendly and professional, taking time to explain when I had questions. Final installation looks and works great!

I was a customer of Mills for over five years. My home was a brand-new build, and Mills was the company that installed my AC unit. Naturally, I continued using them as my service provider for routine maintenance, which was performed twice a year. I also took excellent care of the system myself by regularly changing the air filter and flushing the drain line monthly.
In 2023, we experienced our first issue when the capacitor failed. We paid approximately $300–$400 for that repair. In 2024, the evaporator coils failed, and we paid over $4,000 to have them replaced—an unusually expensive and concerning repair for what was still a relatively new system. Throughout this time, Mills frequently attempted to upsell services and add-ons that were described as ways to help the unit “run more efficiently and last longer.” On one occasion, a technician poured water down the drain line and then attempted to charge my wife extra for using a shop vacuum to suction it out.
In late 2025, our AC system completely failed. A service technician came out and told me to check the breaker. It had tripped, and he instructed me to reset it. After I did so, he returned outside, and moments later I heard a loud explosion. I went into the backyard to find smoke and refrigerant discharged throughout the area. I was then informed that the compressor had failed and that the cost to replace it would exceed $5,000. At this point, the system was just over five years old, which is completely unacceptable for a unit of that age.
I contacted Mills to see if they would be willing to work with me in any way, given the age of the system and the repeated major failures. They were unwilling to offer any assistance. I then asked for a quote to replace the system entirely and provided them with the exact brand and model I wanted. Their quote came in just under $15,000. After shopping around, I found multiple reputable companies willing to install the same system for $8,000–$10,000.
I ultimately chose another company. During the installation, they showed me multiple installation deficiencies from Mills that explained the repeated failures. Mills had installed a 2.5-ton unit in a 2,400-square-foot home, when the proper size should have been between 3.5 and 4 tons. The return air duct opening was cut approximately six inches too small, and the pipework and welding were substandard. It was clear the system had been installed as quickly—and poorly—as possible.
I cannot stress this enough: do not do business with this company. You are far better off choosing a smaller, reputable company that takes the time to do things correctly. The only reason a system as young as mine would experience this many major failures is due to improper installation from the start. -
I will be happy to leave a review once I receive a invoice, receipt, and warranty paperwork for the part that was replaced. The technician told me on a Friday that I would have to wait until Monday for a receipt. I paid him on the spot and still have nothing from Mills explaining the work that was done or warranty paperwork. I called the office and have not received a response. I will be more than happy to update this review once I receive the paperwork that I need.
This is my update. After leaving the first 2 star review within 24 hours I received a phone call from Mills customer service. A very nice woman determined that the email address on file was incorrect and that my paperwork had been sent to the wrong email address. She corrected this while we were on the phone and before the call ended I received the documentation that I needed. The issue was resolved in less than 10 min. I am changing my initial 2 star review to a 4 star review. My A/C is running great and no harm done.
