We've had several major repair services to our home over the past 10 years. The techs from 1 Hour Air were professional, kind, courteous and found mistakes and problems left by others. They were amazing and I'm truly thankful we found them!!

I did a mess with my thermostat wiring attempting to replace it for a smart one and the whole unit lost power, when Mark came in he began inspecting all the elements and explaining to me everything he was doing, he found the problem and began working on it right away, he tested everything and made sure everything was working how it’s supposed to, I 100% will inquire for him next time I need a service, thank you Mark!

Peter, Chris and Joel did an amazing job with my AC vent cleaning and maintenance. Would definitely recommend their friendly service to anyone who is in need of AC fixes. I’m so appreciative of their help!

Joel Arroy is the man! I previously had another company, All Star heating and cooling of central Florida, come out who initially installed my HVAC/AC system and they couldn’t install my ecobee smart thermostat. Then they wanted to charge me for the job they couldn’t finish!! Joel was able to figure out the electrical control board was incorrectly wired!!!! He went above and beyond to rewire the board, and get power to the Ecobee. Again, the previous company who installed the AC couldn’t figure this out??? This company did not even charge extra for the rewiring the board. Ask for JOEL ARROY for any advanced issues. He is also very courteous and respectful of your home. Even though I had already paid for a yearly service with the other company, I was too impressed not to continue with Joel.

I had a terrible experience with One Hour AC. After spending 12 HOURS at my home trying to fix my AC, they ended up charging me $500 for a thermostat — without ever providing an estimate or consulting with me first. While the technicians were calm and respectful, they constantly had to call management for instructions, making it clear they weren’t confident in what they were doing.

They arrived at 11 AM and didn’t leave until 11 PM — on a Friday. In the end, they were unable to install the thermostats I had purchased, installed their own without my approval, and then told me the real problem was with the motherboard, which they wanted to charge an additional $800 to replace. I was left with no choice but to pay for their $500 thermostat just to have AC — during 90-degree Florida weather.

Overall, it was an awful and exhausting experience. I felt completely taken advantage of, and the service is still not fully resolved.

UPDATE – May/2025:
Just two days after the nightmare with One-Hour AC, I discovered water pooling under my brand-new hardwood floor. The source? The AC vent. I called a different HVAC company, and the difference in technical knowledge was night and day.

I didn’t mention the previous visit from One-Hour AC because I assumed the issues were unrelated. Within 10 minutes, the new technician identified the root cause: a clogged AC drain. He immediately asked if my thermostat had been shutting off—which was exactly why I called One-Hour AC in the first place. Turns out, their technicians had bypassed the safety shutoff designed to prevent the system to overload when the drain is clogged. As a result, the system kept running, causing water to build up and leak into my floor.

The fix cost me less than $200.

One-Hour AC did refund me for the overpriced thermostat they pressured me into buying, but still charged me for installing it—after 12 hours on site, misdiagnosing the issue, overcharging, and ultimately making the situation worse.

Avoid this company. They may have some skilled techs, but if you get the wrong ones, you could end up paying the price—literally.

The technician Mark was wonderful. He thoroughly explained what he was doing, why he was doing it and the expected outcome. And it was a fair price for the work performed and the education he provided.

One Hour worked hard to resolve my recent Hvac issues, instead of automatically defaulting to replacement. When the new parts weren’t delivering expected results, they sold me a new HVAC and refunded the parts. The install had some imperfections but they quickly returned and remediated. Everything was responsibly and ethically handled. Mechanics can require trial and error sometimes. The key is to find a company that has your back and is accountable for their work. I have a 10 year warranty and my maintenance is done by the same company, to protect my investment. We paid reasonably. I am grateful for the One Hour boss (Jason) orchestrating perfectly behind the sceness; brilliant Thomas the installer (super savvy and professional), Randy on the electrical side (who can somehow also perfectly troubleshoot AC), Kevin for onsite supervision & safety, Joel for troubleshooting on command (anytime, anyday). This is the A team! Highly recommend.

Mark was great! He called ahead of his arrival, asked questions to get a details of the problem, arrived on time, inspected and was able to provide multiple options. After I picked what worked the best for us, he got it done and we are now not dying on the Florida heat! Thank you Mark!

Elian and Thomas were AMAZING! Professional and friendly…SO happy they were the ones to service my A/C today! I have the ten year parts and labor warranty so today’s visit cost me nothing…an added bonus!

Joel offered excellent information, and went above and beyond to complete what we needed! He came in and knew exactly where to start after hearing what our issue was. He was extremely friendly and was able to answer all my questions without hesitation! He was able to compete all that was needed timely and get our unit operational again in no time!
