We have used Specialized Air to service our HVAC units for over 20 years. Due to their awesome service our units were still working after 28 years, but we decided it was time to put new units in. Dave, Taz, Michael, and Skylar did an amazing job installing the 2 units. They worked very hard and got everything done in less than a day! We were very impressed and happy with everything! Thanks again, guys!

Quick dispatch same day. Owner was nice and very informative over the phone. Technician was quick to repair the problem and explain the issue. Thankfully I was able to stay at home without burning alive (108).

I've had trouble with my A/C for a couple of years and after being unable to contact other A/C companies, I happened onto Specialized Air and gave them a call. Their representative, Taz, was at my house within 20 minutes and went right to work. He was friendly and professional, pinpointed the problem immediately, and gave me options to repair and upgrade my system to alleviate future trouble. There are no doubt other A/C services out there that are just as prompt, just as good, and perhaps even cheaper (although their rates are quite reasonable, in my estimation), but I HIGHLY recommend Specialized Air! They have a customer for life!!

The technician was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. After servicing our unit, he installed a new control box, which was a huge upgrade from what I originally had. I also really like the text and email method of communication they have in place; it makes things easier for customers. I highly recommend this company.

Taz was excellent as well as the owner. They came out to inspect an issue we were having with our downstairs AC and we were able to temporary provide a fix the same day. Then they came back the following week to finish off the job in a very timely and professional manner. Very pleased with the quick work and was well communicated with throughout the entire process.

Our air conditioning stopped working on one of the hottest days of the summer and Specialized Air promptly came out to diagnosis the issue the morning that I called, which was also a weekend. Mike was very polite, professional, and quickly identified and fixed the issue. Thank you so much for the quick turnaround and excellent service!!

Ashley in the office was very friendly and personable and quick to respond. Every time I spoke with Dave regarding scheduling and inspecting the ductwork he was responsive and professional. Mike actually came out to do the service on both of our units and on inspection of the ducts located a couple of areas which were separated and leaked so they were repaired while he was there without a service trip. Great service and greatly appreciated! Will definitely use them again!

Mike was awesome!! He came in & fixed the problem right away & put in a new thermostat for us. He was very kind & professional. We already asked about a quote on some more work😁 thank you so much!!! Recently, I had the opportunity to contact Specialized Air Conditioning for my AC needs. Initially, I felt fortunate to have found them. However, my experience turned out to be less than satisfactory. During the inspection at my house, the owner quoted me a price of $13,500 for a new system. Wanting to save some money, I opted for a coolant refill, which cost $300, but unfortunately, the system stopped working again after just three weeks.

In response to the issue, Specialized Air Conditioning sent a new technician named Taz Gray. I must admit that Taz's behavior was unexpected and quite rude. He attempted to increase the price, seemingly upset by the initial quote given by the owner. Eventually, after discussing the matter with the owner, we agreed on a price of $14,000. However, I wanted some time to research the products to ensure I was getting the best value.

Unfortunately, there was a miscommunication with the owner, and he failed to call me back as promised. Meanwhile, Taz and another technician arrived before I could make any decisions. I explained that I was still waiting for the owner's call and wanted to hold off until everything was clear. Taz responded with rudeness, insisting I open the house while displaying an attitude.

Although I had no issue with getting a single system, I inquired about the possibility of a two-staged system. This seemed to agitate Taz further, and he said they would have to schedule me for next week. I suggested canceling the appointment until they had everything sorted out. After I went inside, Taz began to pound on my door. This unprofessional behavior left me quite disappointed.

Later, the owner called to inquire about what happened, but the conversation quickly became agitated, and he decided to cancel the service. I agreed, and the call ended on that note.

I had high hopes for this company as I own several properties and was considering continuing business with them. However, the disrespectful behavior displayed by their employee has significantly lowered my opinion of the company. If they genuinely attempt to rectify the situation, I might reconsider my review, but I believe that the unpleasant experience could have easily been avoided.

Specialized Air responded quickly, arrived as promised within updated window on day of service. David was professional and communicated clearly what was wrong, what needed to be done, had the needed parts on hand, repaired AC same day. He also kindly gave me guidance on what to expect, how to care for the HVAC unit, and let me know about their preferred customer service schedule for priority service in case something needed immediate service. I would recommend them to my family and friends.

10/10 - Highly recommended! My AC stopped working late in the afternoon on a Sunday. Given the extreme heat, I was very worried that I would have to wait until at least Monday to have someone come out to address the issue. Fortunately, I called Specialized Air and Taz was able to come out to my house within the hour. He quickly fixed the problem and went above and beyond addressing some additional (unrelated) HVAC concerns. Taz was extremely courteous, professional, and helpful. I will definitely plan to call Specialized Air for all of my future AC needs. Thank you again, Taz!

We used Specialized Air to remove one of our units while we remodeled and then to re-install it when the roof and walls were complete. Dave and Taz and their team are a great. They were on time, communicative, and thorough. I would recommend this company for your HVAC needs.

Didn't even bother showing up for an estimate appointment for full AC replacement! I'm literally trying to spend tens of thousands of dollars and they didn't even show up! Called the same number back from when I made the appointment, went to an admittedly nice lady who REALLY didnt seem to know what she was doing. She said she showed no such record of an appointment, but she was having "computer problems", and would call me back, but never did. Not to mention the shadiness of advertising the company on Google as "Fresno HVAC", yet when you call the number, it goes to Sears! Against my better judgment, I scheduled the appointment anyway because of the good Google reviews. Wasted hours of my time and cost me a lot of money because I passed on an overtime shift at work. I'm so pissed. Companies like this deserve to go out of business.

My A/C went out again for the second time this summer I went with Specialized Air this second time around and everyone I talked to during calls for scheduling and coordinating time frames with my busy schedule was absolutely wonderful and very helpful! Michael came out and was very professional and thorough with his diagnosis. He got the A/C up and running quickly! Everyone in the household including the dogs are grateful to have a working A/C again! :)

The whole Specialized Air crew was professional, knowledgeable, and fast. We had a very old forced air system so we needed ducting installed under our house and had the furnace & coil unit replaced. They answered all our questions as they came up and made sure we were completely happy with how everything was done. I will recommend them to everyone.

We called Specialized Air Conditioning because our unit was blowing warm air through the system instead of cooled air. The technician came out and replaced a part and explained to me what he'd done. He repaired our unit quickly and was friendly and polite.

If I could give this company a higher than 5 rating, I would. Less than 24 hours after my initial call, we had a brand new heating/air unit installed at an affordable price. My father recommended Specialized Air Conditioning and raved about the service, the product, and the price (he hasn't posted a review, because he's old and not tech savy, so I guess I'm adding a review for him along with mine). We decided to use Specialized Air and I am so glad we did. From start to finish, the customer service was amazing! The office staff, the owner, and the technicians were wonderful to work with and actually made a stressful situation pleasurable. We had an amazing and professional experience with Specialized. It was our first time using them, we chose them based on the reviews, and they met all our expections. Price was very reasonable and they were able to replace our whole unit within a day after it completely died on a 107 degree day . A real emergency! This was our second opinion for AC tune up and need for possible more work. This company was very responsive and helpful! They were able to come out same day and able to stay until it was fixed! Clear communication, hard working and good price compared to previous quote. We were very happy with specialized air and the technician was courteous and professional. We highly recommend Specialized Air!
