We've used in the past, a guy showed up and refused to wear mask in our house, asked to have someone come who will wear mask, never heard back from them, we've had someone from there before who understood a mask would be needed which is why we called them again. unprofessional ... called protech and their people will wear a mask no problem

I called to schedule a repair, time frame to fix was to long but they gave advice and very helpful. I have used TP before and always get great results.

Tropical Plumbing did a great job. Casey who took my information was very professional. I had a certain request. I have a German Shepherd. He is a security dog. King has to be put up in His crate before entering our property. Casey followed my protocol. Larry our serviceman followed directions to call when he. Arrived to make sure King was put up. It was perfect. Larry did an excellent job installing the plumbing for the kitchen sink. It works great. He was very professional and kind. Thanks, Tropical plumbing. Compared to similar places it is expensive. I bought a water pump and it was a few dollars more expensive than Home Depot. The staff makes the difference by delivering personalized customer service. The are friendly and professional.

I am a Orlando Based Public Adjuster. I find myself and my company helping many homeowners that had Tropical Plumbing save the day! I always hear great things about their employees. Great Company.

I ended up spending $200 on a GFI switch that needed reset. We had a plumber come out to fix a leaky sink. It just so happened that the toilet stopped working while he was fixing the sink. My wife asked the plumber since he was already there.
With this place being called tropical plumbing and septic it would be reasonable to assume they would give the septic system a once over before they begin plumbing. NOPE! Just right to the plumbing. After two hours and then pressuring my wife into scheduling a pump truck which would have been another $400, I get on the phone and ask about the septic operation. That is when we discovered the GFI was tripped.
My wife and I both politely called after the service to see what we could do about the additional $200 dollars we were charged that wasn't needed. They wouldn't budge one cent. Their exact words were "we sent a plumber out for a sink repair he is not an expert in septic systems". My response was I need to work with a more well rounded company then.
I get that this is just part bad luck, and that the technician wasted a bunch of his time. I would have been happy with even $50 bux off, or even a future credit to the account. I had used this company 3 or 4 times in the past. Now because of their lack of well roundedness, and stubborn attitude, they have lost a customer for life.

We bought a new front load washer and because it pulses water in it was shaking the water pipes 20' away in a bathroom. Clarence determined it might be the water valve in the shower faucet as he had seen this before. He installed a new valve kit in the washer and the problem went away. I cannot express my appreciation enough for getting a true veteran like him.

Awesome Service! Clean and efficient. Clarence and Josh arrived when promised, explained the problem and the solution so I could understand. They cleaned up afterward and did it all at a reasonable price.

Some of the staff were polite, but I'm disappointed in this company. When they re-plumed my house they a pipe exposed in my guest bath. I had to ask them to come back in order to hide it. Now there is a hole in the vanity. They also installed a faulty cartridge in my guest shower. Less than a year later it broke and I couldn't get my tub to turn off. They never called me back when I reached out to them.

Terrible service, they charged $120 for this. When I called and asked them to come back and fix that again, someone came to my house, looked at the issue, said would have to make a call outside and simply left. When I called again to follow up and said I would like to solve it before posting a Google review, I heard "do whatever you want"... Don't recommend.

Needed a new water heater for a year or two as the hot water would not last very long. Changed the elements many times and knew it was just time. Also had a cracked toilet tank & bowl and needed them replaced. I was reluctant to call plumber and thought about doing a self-help job but was a little nervous about the water heater. I mean it has electricity and that can only end badly for me! So was referred to Tropical Plumbing by a friend who works at a plumbing wholesaler and called for appt. They set one up for 8am the next day which I thought was really fast. Gave me a price over the phone for everything and we agreed to the appt. Brian was the tech who came out. He said he was a 3rd generation plumber and was professional and super knowledgable. He patiently handled my questions and confidently got right to work. Water heater was changed out and toilet was replaced. All quickly and cleanly. (No mess left behind.) Total price was exactly as quoted and he was on his way. Brian was excellant. Refreshing to meet a tech (in any trade) that both takes pride in his work and is very friendly too. I would absolutely use Tropical again and I would ask for Brian!

Moved into new home and I have had Tropical Plumbing out several times to fix multiple of different plumbing issues. I have had several different plumbers who all do a really professional job. I am really appreciative of the extra effort and care they take in my home to fix plumbing issues.

Chuck is the best skilled tradesman I have ever encountered. We had our septic system diagnosed and fixed. Chuck is honest, professional, and caring. His knoweldge and skill are unmatched. I can't reccomend him and this company enough.

I have a Hoot septic system at my house and was very unhappy with the current company servicing it.

I called tropical plumbing and talked to lynette, she was very nice and helped me set up the appointment the next day.

The next day right at 10 am, Brian the tech shows up on time and serviced the system. Very professional and knowledgeable about the system.
