HVAC reviews in Pembroke Pines, Florida

The most unreliable company I have ever seen. I have been calling for days and nobody answers especially during lunch hours. They don’t have anyone covering and the service really bad. They can never fix anything and nothing is ever done right.

I have a property for rent which has insurance with this company for more than a month is the dryer damaged last Friday I visited a technician who indicated that he would return with the piece and that to be able to use the dryer will use a non-professional clamp hopefully return before 2025

They try to tell you item can not be repaired you need a new one. I had to tell the plumber please just replace the rubber washer on sink. I had to do it in front of plumber and he acted surprised when I showed him it doesn’t leak now. Bad news company

They just want your money. Costumer service 0. You have to keeping calling them. Air conditioning stop working and could not come until another day in the afternoon. No air for a 24 hours. This kind of service should be in a few hours.

I have been dealing with them for years because my landlord always use them for maintenance (they are cheap). The service is horrible, they don't answer the phone, they schedule a visit and skip it without calling you. If you add that the workers are not well qualified, it is a nightmare.

The person was in a hurry. Installed a bide half way and left me the toilet disabled and left with no info, no comment. Very rude and no communication at all. I'm calling to see if they will come back and after discussing it with the lady, she send me through a voice mail to report a complaint. Very poor service and unprofessional. Do not sign contract with this company, not worth it!!

My mom has been waiting since early December to get her dishwasher. Fixed was told that home depot didn't have the part. And they never called my mom back or did anything. It is now the end of January and we're entering February

After several visits by technicians, it was finally determined, my washer and dryer stack had to be replaced. I was initially given a time frame of 2-4 weeks, then 4-6 weeks for delivery. From July 10th, the delivery should have been Aug 21st. When I called for an update, I was told the new date would be Sept 8th. I was later told it would be Sept 14th. I called on Sept 15th and was told Brandsmart was out of stock, so I would have to wait until Sept 28th.
The team members are not helpful and can be rude when you show frustration. I hope to not have to do business with this company in the future. -
TOTAL HEADACHE.
My family has a contract with total for service on an apartment AC unit. The unit was deemed unrepairable but it took the company a week to inspect, then on a separate day remove the unit, and then on the following day after that tell us that it was unrepairable. This left my grandparents who suffer from respiratory issues without AC for almost a week. This whole thing could have been resolved in a matter of 2 to 3 days but instead they left two elderly people with respiratory issues without air-conditioning for nearly a week. When they knew we would have another company come and service our air conditioner the manager, Jerry, decides to send the City of Hollywood an email notifying them that we need to pull a permit. How vindictive...How unprofessional and rude to people in need during a crisis.
I’m sure that they could have seen the unit was unrepairable before they took it away.... but what they did was try to leave us with no options. Then they tell us that we needed a new one and wanted to charge us $3600, but they would not provide a detailed breakdown showing what portion of that cost was labor, versus what portion was equipment. And they would not even negotiate on the price even though the unit they were specifying retailed for between $2500 and $2700.
We asked them to bring the unit they had removed back to the apartment at which point the manager, Jerry, emails my mother saying “you can pick it up here at our office.” Mind you it is for my grandparents house and God knows how much that thing weighs. I had to spend three more days trying to convince them to kindly return the unit which they deemed unrepairable and return it.
Despite all this I would like to thank Jason and Jill for their kind and professional service. However the fact that dealing with the manager, Jerry, was so difficult makes me believe that this company is bad news. I would like to add that many members of the community who have a contract with Total feel similarly displeased, and that the Association is going to be looking for a new company to service the building.
AVOID TOTAL AT ALL COSTS!! -
I have my account since 2017, I probably have used the services five times. The customer service received from Cynthia at the office is outstanding, she is awesome, and always follow up with a phone call to let you know about the repairs. No worder she always busy. Thank you Cynthia.

We are going to join a long list of dissatisfied customers with this company, since my mother moved to century village, we have had to deal with the terrible service of this company, starting with the fact that they do not comply with what they offer in the contracts, I was to the office to pay the contract corresponding to this year, which runs from June 21, 2024 to June 21, 2025, they even asked me for extra money in addition to the contract to fix the icemaker, when I called I spent a whole day waiting for them to answer the call, finally I got an appoiment for 20 days later, when the technician came to my house, he told me that they were going to order the broken part, 2 months passed and I called again and they told me that I had not paid when is it more I paid extra . At this moment I have already paid more than $795 dollars, they do not solve me, they do not answer my emails and when they do they say that I have paid when I have all the proof of payments, this is a very irresponsible company we do not recommend them to anyone . Terrible customer service.

They left us with no a/c for one week in June instead of working on the weekend to repair the system! They took two months to fix our stove top and still not fixed. Our refrigerator was not working properly and the Technician who came to fix it, put his ear on the door of the refrigerator and stated that it needed a new motor! Two months later another Technician stated it needed a new fan, not a new motor! 2.5 months later and $150.00 short, they never returned my money! The supervisors nor managers want to answer your calls nor return your calls! The worst service company in South Florida.

I've been with TOTAL since I moved to Century Village in Pembroke Pines, 14 years ago. I don't understand the negative reviews as I have yet to have a bad experience. While I'm not happy with condo's Management Company, I hesitate in moving elsewhere due to the wonderful service from TOTAL. I believe their price is within reason for all that they offer. I would never give up on this company. It's like a safety net for my appliances.

I have lived at a retirement community for 4 years and have called this company countless of times for the same issues and they either tell me they have to order parts or make some other excuse to not fix my issues. I pay $862.00 per year on the 3 apartments we have in this community and they have the worst service I have ever received. Cynthia has the worst customer service skills I have ever experienced. Today she also, decided to get sarcastic with me and I have had enough. I highly recommended that you do not deal with this company, as for myself if they do not take care of my issues I will be getting myself another service.

Ridiculous wait times and they never respond. Switching to another service provider. I am currently on my third attempt to get through to a human this week and my current time on hold is over 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Today I had a wonderful and warm experience with the Total representative at Century Village, Pembroke Pines, Cynthia Valera. I have been without my dishwasher since before Christmas while total waited for two parts. Today I got an email asking me to call and arrange installation of the newly arrived parts. After several calls to the main office, which I’m sure is also incredibly busy, I decided to drive to our local office here on the premises. I was greeted pleasantly by Cynthia who immediately got on the phone and arranged my installation appointment after I explained my situation. She was professional and thorough, and while I am totally bilingual, I appreciated her personal touch and charm in my first language. As a retired teacher who taught Spanish speakers, I know how important her bilingual skills must be to your business. I hope she is duly rewarded.

Total is a TOTAL waste of money and time! I called to report my A/C issue in HOT & SUNNY SOUTH FLORIDA. I was told a technician would come out between the hours of 8am and 6pm. If that isn’t already ridiculous, I waited the entire day, called a little after 6pm (after not hearing from or seeing a technician all day). Not only did I wait more than 30 minutes to get in touch with someone, I was told the technician was not aware of the service call and that he wasn’t willing to come out at that time as he is already home. I will give the technician the benefit of the doubt here. Perhaps, he truly wasn’t made aware. Nonetheless, this is still very poor customer service and this situation was not properly addressed. I have an inoperable AC unit that is making loud noises, dripping water (which almost caused me to fall today in the hallway of my house). My mother and I have to live 2 more days without air again in HOT, SUNNY SOUTH FLORIDA. I’m not sure why this place is still in business.

This company is the worst I have deal with in all my life. We paid a service contract on a yearly basis and this people treat us like garbage. Here at Century Village the personnel is extremely rude, arrogant, confrontational. they don’t answer the phone or they hang up on you. I called the service department here 8 times and 8 times they hang up. I called a person by name Milton that he is a Supervisor here and apparently he don’t like to answer any calls at all.
Service from this people is a shame, and very unprofessional. I guess the management here at Century paid them good money for a lazy job they provide. Now the question is who is in charge of them Mr. Carlos Perez, or Jonathan Hernandez, no one owns because they don’t have a Director??
This is the worst service I paid in my life. don’t get caught by this company. -
As a property manager at Century Village Pembroke Pines, I am extremely disappointed with Total Appliance & A/C Repair. One of my tenants has been waiting for OVER A MONTH to have her dryer repaired. UNREASONABLE DELAYS: A simple dryer should not take over a month to get fixed. PARTS DEPARTMENT IS A DISASTER: Excuses and no clear timelines. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE: No updates and NO urgency. HOWEVER, CYNTHIA IS THE ONLY ONE HELPFUL AT TOTAL CV.
Century Village residents deserve reliable service, and Total Appliance is failing miserably. If you’re considering using them for appliance repairs, think twice—their inefficiency and lack of urgency will leave you frustrated and waiting indefinitely.
