Despite Mike being a Patriots fan, I couldn’t speak more highly of him. He was super thorough and professional. My wife and I recently welcomed a newborn into our home and he was able to quickly fix the issue that was preventing our house from cooling. Will call again if any future issues arise and will recommend to anyone

Solid company with knowledgeable techs, reasonable prices, and good customer service. They have a great maintenance package to get 6 month checkups on your system. Def a must. Otherwise you will pay more for a break down, which has been my lesson learned.

These people NEVER pick up the phone, nor call you back when you leave a message.

Re: Owners response. "Please reach out to us directly so we may discuss further". But leave out an alternate phone number / email address. Lol. Still not picking up the phone or returning messages. I even reached out to our home builder whom said (politely) "not sure if they're busy, but you're not the first to say they're hard to reach. "....

I had a frustrating experience with this company from the start. When I called to ask about the initial installation, the customer service was rude and aggressive, making it seem like they deal with these complaints frequently. Unfortunately, the quality of the installation has proven to be poor, as just a few years later, I'm experiencing leaky ducts and unusually high humidity levels in my home. No other issues with the AC have been found, pointing to the installation process as the root cause. Overall, very disappointed with both the service and the long-term results.

We have this company because we bought a new Pulte Home and they use this company. Engineered air wont answer the phones, and they wont return calls. They dont confirm appts and you are left sitting for hours, missing work, for nothing. They are very difficult to work with.

Mike just serviced my second floor attic unit in Delray Beach, Florida and did an exemplary job. The best service i’ve had from the company in the ten plus years i’ve been working with them, he went above and beyond. - Delray Home Owner, Bermuda Gardens.

I had a very disappointing experience with Engineered Air, and I strongly recommend staying away from companies that operate like this. When I called regarding ongoing issues with my AC system, which was installed during a new construction by the builder, I encountered extreme rudeness from their supervisor, Lydia. Instead of answering a few simple questions I had, she was dismissive and unhelpful, giving me the impression that customer service is not a priority for this company.

If this is how they treat customers with basic inquiries, I can only imagine the lack of support one would receive if there were bigger issues. It's important to choose a company that values their customers and provides respectful service, which is not what I experienced with Engineered Air. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for AC services.

I want to share how helpful Lee has been. She is the kindest and most attentive person in the service business that I have experienced. She is amazing at listening, has compassion for her clients and addresses issues with a great deal of understanding. Thank you, Lee!!!

It would not be fair if do not mention the excellent service provided by "Mike from New England" employed by Engineered Air, LLC at Pompano Beach FL. Our a/c was backed up, Mike came at the promised time, in no time, he determined was was wrong with our unit. The problem was resolved quickly, he was very nice to deal with and very neat at his work. Engineered Air, LLC should consider "cloning" Mike who certainly is an asset.

I rarely provide reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience with this company to prevent others from encountering a similar situation. Approximately two years ago, the company installed two mini split air conditioners in my garage. However, when we sold the house, we discovered that the permits for the installation had never been closed out. Despite numerous attempts to reach out to the company for resolution, we were met with evasive responses. In an effort to address the issue, we involved our realtor, who was assured by the company that they would rectify the situation. Unfortunately, they failed to follow through.

As the closing date approached, we were required to leave $15,000 in escrow until the permit was properly closed. We promptly informed the company of this requirement, but once again, they neglected to take any action. After a month of persistence, we finally managed to establish contact with someone from the company, who informed us that the sales representative was no longer employed and the permit personnel was on leave. It was during this exchange that we spoke with a person named Dennis Duff, who identified himself as the owner. Regrettably, Mr. Duff exhibited an arrogant demeanor and seemed to insinuate that we were at fault for the situation. When I personally spoke with him and questioned his responsibility as the owner, he responded dismissively, claiming ignorance of the matter.

Eventually, after much back-and-forth, Mr. Duff assured me that the issue would be resolved. However, despite his assurance, I waited patiently for a month with no progress. I made numerous attempts to contact him via phone calls, text messages, and emails, but received no response. In the end, I lost the $15,000 to the buyer of my home, and I am now compelled to seek legal representation in order to pursue a resolution, despite the unfortunate expenditure of resources.

In light of my experience, I strongly advise against engaging with this company, as they have demonstrated a lack of commitment and follow-through on their promises.

No show for an appointment as part of the annual service twice a year...no return calls to messages or emails going on two weeks. Looks they're going under and running away with customer's money without finalizing service or refunding payments. Sad...they used to be great.

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
They installed both flood switches on my A/C unit wrong on my new Pulte home. This caused a flooding on my second floor dripping down though my ceiling. They refused to be accountable although I have paperwork stating it was installed incorrectly.

Do not use Engineered Air. Engineered Air installed HVAC system in new home that I purchased through a large multi-state developer 13 months ago. The air handler on the second floor started making noise that was noticeable from first floor below. The noise was near Kitchen refrigerator so I thought that is where noise was coming from. It took about three weeks to get fridge tech out to check. They confirmed fridge was not making the noise. Air handler is directly above so I contacted Engineered Air next to request a tech come out and diagnose. The woman who answered the service call told me that it was out of 1 year warranty and that I needed to pay $125 to have technician come out. I explained that the noise started before the 2 weeks that she was saying was past 1 year warranty period and that I had waited 3 weeks for fridge technician. She very rudely told me that I "no longer have a labor warranty" and she wouldn't schedule a technician unless I paid $125. I called and emailed the so called service manager multiple times with no response. I ultimately called another firm to diagnose and found a leak in the fan coil. There are many good AC companies in Palm Beach County. Engineered Air is not one of them.

Highly recommend them! Excellent company. We have contracted with them for regular checkups. At our first one, they fixed our thermostat setting and detected a problem with our AC that needed to be addressed. They took care of it promptly and we later found out they charged us a very fair price.

Engineered Air has been servicing my home and office for 10+ years. Mike from New England was here today to install UV lights for both air handlers. Great guy, great service. Thank you!

I was contacted by one of their technicians who informed me that the company had gone out of business, and left me a card for the place where he works now. I tried calling Engineered Air to verify, and it went to voicemail. I didn’t bother leaving a message. And after reading the comments from other customers, it seems that the technician was telling the truth.

We have a maintenance contract with Engineered Air, and it has been worth every penny. Whenever we have an issue, they send someone out the same day to fix it. Today, Mike from New England came to our house and saved my husband and me from spending another night in the summer heat! Mike was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and hardworking. He is definitely an asset to the company. Thank you, Mike!
