Constraction reviews in Port St. Lucie, Florida

I have had the absolute worst experience building this home with Kolter. Starting off I have to say the Sales Center and Design Center people were amazing. From my experiences with them I thought the whole time was going to be great and exciting, building our home in this beautiful community. However once it went to construction it was all downhill from there. I signed my contract in April 2021. Nothing at all was done for five months they didn’t start anything until September. All I was told was Covid, Covid, Covid! When we signed The contract we were told that we would be done in March or April. Here we are June 10 and I was told yesterday by our CM that maybe, maybe we are looking at September or October. The first CM that we had did absolutely nothing for five months and I don’t completely blame him because it is absolutely upper management‘s fault as well. Even with all of our complaints throughout this process no one has ever stayed on top of it even though we were promised that they would to make sure that our house was going to be made a priority. There are other houses that started 5 to 6 months after mine that have been completed or that are close to completion. It’s amazing to me that upper management in construction allows this to happen and even again with repeated complaints nothing changes. More was done this past week with the new CM that had been done in all this time with the previous one. Unfortunately there’s only so far that he can go he has ordered a lot of materials that should have been ordered already. But as far as that, the only thing he can do is schedule them to be done he personally can’t take guys off of other homes and put them in ours to finish sooner. We were told from upper management that we would be made a priority and we haven’t been. STAY AWAY FROM KOLTER AT VERANO!!!! The last picture is my house as of today after 14 months!!!!! My co worker’s parents are building in Esplanade right near Verano. They signed their contract in January and are at the same place I am. This has been an extremely frustrating process.

We have owned a home in PGA Verrano for over 7 yrs ‘ always felt it was a 5 STAR community, but never hv we been so disappointed with landscaping as this year. We are snowbirds ‘ come around this time but this is the first I saw dried leaves, weeds & dried up grass as if no sprinklers have been turned on. Wonder what’s the deal?? Will someone let us know what’s going on!!!!!!!

Review of PGA Verano, Port St. Lucie

PGA Verano is truly a beautiful community. The homes are stunning, well-designed, and you can really see the quality that matches what you’re paying for. The sales representative, Jill, was beyond kind, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable — she made sure to answer every question and explain everything I needed to know.

That being said, I ultimately decided not to purchase here. In my opinion, PGA Verano feels more like a community geared toward adults rather than families with children. As a parent of two kids, I’m looking for a neighborhood where they can really enjoy the amenities and environment just as much as I do, while still having a gorgeous home.

If you’re looking for luxury, peace, and a beautifully maintained community, PGA Verano is a perfect fit. For families, however, you may want to explore other options that are more kid- and family-oriented.

The homes were all really beautiful. They were designed and decorated beautifully...the only complaint I have is that they didnt have the base prices or any prices listed ...My husband and I were looking for what they cost would be without ton and Tons of upgrades that they had. We also would have liked to see what the homes looked like even in photos without being decorated or without the extras. Very nice homes. We just bought a town home in vero but our 5 year plan is to move more south and these homes are deffinitly beautiful. Its hard to pic a favorite ...

We decided to build a new home and that’s how we ended up at Kolter Homes. We liked several floor plans and the area so we took the next step and set up a meeting with Jill Miller, a new home guide. She was the best!! Jill spent as much time with us as we needed answering questions and educating us on floor plans and available lots. After we decided on our plan and lot, she was still very involved making sure we were comfortable with the process and our choices. She truly cares about her clients and we were lucky to have her guidance and expertise. Our experience with Kolter Homes was overall very good but the start of the process was excellent!!

We visited several communities but still find this community my favorite. My wife and I just purchased the Caroline . Completion date Oct 24 . Can't wait to get To the design center. Will keep you posted on the building process.

Update: Design team member, Rebeca was awesome. It was a bit overwhelming on the first day,but Rebecca eased our concerns and when everything was said and done we got the house of our dream. Will keep updating through this process.
We completed our home and absolutely love it . The community is beautiful and filled with good people. We did our 2 month inspection . We had several issues that needed to be addressed . All I can say is the warranty department came in immediately addressed and repaired every issue. Thank you Kolter 👍🏻

We have owned 2 homes in PGA Verano. We love the community. Kolter built our 2nd home in record time. It’s on one of the best lakes in the neighborhood. We highly recommend Kolter as their floorplans are well thought out and communities have lots of amenities and are beautiful!

Built in Verano last year and just completed our pool.. Our dream home is complete. Best place to live in port Saint Lucie.

We recently visited the model homes by Kolter Homes and were extremely impressed. The attention to detail throughout the homes was outstanding, and the floorplan efficiency truly stood out to us. Every space felt thoughtfully designed and functional.
Although our visit was brief, it didn’t take long to see ourselves building our future home in this beautiful community. Simply driving through the neighborhood gave us a great feel for the area, and we loved what we saw.
Annette was a pleasure to work with — professional, personable, and genuinely enthusiastic. You can clearly see and hear the pride she has in working with the builder and representing the community. She made our visit informative and welcoming without ever feeling pressured.
