Called with an AC unit issue which was self inflicted by myself. He was able to come out at 1:30 but I was messing with something with the unit for preventative maintenance and just asked him a few questions. He was able to guide me through them within a few minutes on the phone avoiding having to come out and allowing me to have AC a lot sooner as well on a mistake I made. Very stand-up person and kind for giving me a few minutes of his time. I will use him in the future if something really happens with my HVAC unit needing a professionals attention. Our Home Warranty company called 3 AC companies over 8 wks to fix our York AC. One guy messed with air handler 7 hours (messed up wiring.) 2nd company’s guy messed with our smaller unit when nothing was wrong with it and broke it. 3rd company couldn’t even begin to fix. Then Home Warranty said that that was all they would cover (even though not fixed.) We knew McGraff (but home warranty said Air Repair not on their list). We called Air Repair who came out same day. Within 30 minutes they’d identified and fixed what 3 companies took 8 weeks on and had only made matters worse. They work hard. A combination of old/new school, they have all basis covered. We highly recommend.

Local company. Our A/C went out on a very hot July day a couple of years ago. We called Chip and he came out immediately and had the problem solved within 1 hour. Excellent work and very fair price. Highly recommend.

He runs his business with honesty and integrity, and is quick to respond to any situation, even on weekends! I called Air Repair as well as three other HVAC companies after my AC froze up and started acting funny. Mr. McGrath promptly returned my call and came right away and I never heard back from the other companies. He quickly diagnosed my problem and presented several options to move forward. In my case, the end result would eventually be the same, so I opted for replacement of the unit.

To my surprise, Mr. McGrath and his technician installed the new unit on the same day and had me up and running again very quickly. The price was reasonable and at no time did I feel like I was being taken advantage of and the communication throughout was great. I recently used Air Repair and I am extremely satisfied with their work. The technician arrived on time and was very professional throughout the service. They quickly identified the issue with my AC unit and efficiently repaired it. The quality of their work is excellent, and my AC is now working perfectly. Chip is the best!! He did a great job fixing my AC. While several other AC companies gave the wrong diagnosis, Chip spent time to troube shoot and avoided ordering the wrong parts. He is very professional and easy to work with. Highly recommended.

Had a suspicion my warm house might be due to a burnt out capacitor and thankfully I was correct. The telltale signs were there, but I’m not a professional; with heat index expected to hit 111 today, I was grateful for the super fast response to the text sent to Chip @ Air Repair in Ruskin. I was not a current customer, but was treated like one anyway. By 10am Chip was on site as promised and immediately got my unit up and running - great response time, and super fast result! Always happy to find and support a local business and Chip will get my business again (though, ofc I really hope I don’t need him 😉)

Air Repair is an excellent company highly recommend. Our air condition went down hottest weekend of year. Chip arrived 15 minutes after we called. He diagnosed problem and had our air conditioning running with in the hour. Very reasonable fee for an emergency Saturday call.

Air Repair is a lifesaver and Frank was amazing!!! He responded quickly on the weekend to my call; in fact, he came out the same day to get our AC unit up and successfully running again. Frank is very personable and provides the highest level of customer service. I felt that the charge for parts and labor was more than fair. My neighbors had recommended this company and now we have a company we will use for both regular maintenance and addressing any future needs.

Our a/c system went out on a the week after Hurricane Milton struck. We called AirRepair and Frank came out and determined that our a/c had no freon in the system. Our system was 13 years old and we opted to get a new system that was more efficient that what we had. He explained that we could get another 410a system or one of the new coolant ones. He said that the new systems were having some issues and that parts were not yet available and steer clear until they get the bugs worked out. A neighbor has one of the new systems and it went out less than 4 month after install and it took 2 months to get the parts. We decided to get a new outdoor unit and air handler. They presented several brands, along with the pricing of each. We decided on a Bryant unit after reading reviews on line and learning that it would be a fit perfectly into the old space. Our unit is in the garage at the ceiling and the area is a tight fit. The unit has been in 6 months and it's running well. Quieter than the old unit and it blends in with our house color (tan vs gray) much better (HOA Happy about that ) All in all...were happy with the quality, installation and experience we had with Air Repair. It's also nice to deal with a locally owned and operated business that actually shows up on time and delivers the goods. They are honest and don't try to sell you something that you don't want or need...oh and they actually showed up when they said they would.
