Excellent service. Prompt, couteous, good problem-solving, and very reasonably priced.

Big Bear is amazing! Our 25 year old unit stopped working and they were able to come out same day to take a look. Instead of upselling me on an entirely new system, they told me that all I needed was a simple part and they had me back up and running perfectly in no time. They have made a customer for life now because I'll remember how honest and helpful they were and when my unit finally does kick the bucket, I'll 100% be having them install the new one.

10/10 would recommend Big Bear!! We contacted Dylan when one of our units went out and he responded right away to help us that day. He was reasonable, professional, and helpful!

Had another AC company that I have been using for years...always seemed like they ALWAYS found something expensive and wrong with my AC handler...had Big Bear come out and they found the SAME problem, but, at a 1/3rd of the price of the old company that I USED to use. The Big Bear team was very helpful in replacing the control board on our AC unit. They were quick to find us a new part that was still under warranty and have it installed. Many thanks to Big Bear; we will definitely use them again in the future!

Dylan and his team are exceptional. We needed to replace our HVAC system for our office / training center urgently - Dylan made an appointment to come out same day, next day we had a brand new unit - installed on schedule as promised.

Dylan absolutely reflects the very best in customer service as demonstrated by his patience with after install questions, excellent communication. His willingness to go "above and beyond" is unheard of in this business. Dylan made sure we had a direct line - no "answering services" - was able to call and text directly.

Dylan followed up on multiple occasions to make sure we were completely satisfied.

We've worked with all the HVAC "big names" in Sarasota - with sales people, high price quotes, etc and no other company can offer the personalized service, straight forward (no games) fair pricing and on schedule service of Big Bear.

We will now use Big Bear for our schedule maintenance program and for another unit replacement next year. Absolutely our highest 5 star recommendation for Dylan and Big Bear.

I called Big Bear Heating and Air by accident. I meant to call a different company. The office manager answered the phone and was so pleasant that I gave the company a chance. As we spoke, she was rearranging schedules to ensure a same day visit to my house. It was late in the day so I told her the next day would be fine.

On the following day the service technician arrived on time and was very professional. Despite my AC unit being 15 years old, he advised that my only issue was a capacitor. He inspected both my AC units and got us back up an running very quickly at a very respectable price. Definitely an honest company.

Dylan did our normal 6 month maintenance. He was on time, efficient, neat & completed task in a timely manner. Made some recommendations for future maintenance. No hard sell or pressure just suggestions. If you are unhappy with your current ac company and looking for a someone new look into Big Bear heating & Ac. They do a great job , are reasonably priced & are not always trying to sell you something when they come to service your unit.

Very happy with the service provided by Big Bear. They quickly diagnosed the problem with our air conditioning system and offered a couple of options to meet our repair needs. Work was completed in a timely fashion, at a fair price, and both the owner and technician were courteous and professional. I've already recommended them to others in my family.

I was impressed with Big Bear Heating & Air and Dylan the owner. As a retired Real Estate Broker, I dealt with many AC companies, and I can tell you some of which were just horrible. Big Bear, being a relatively new company, I had my concerns, but Dylan came through with flying colors. I did my research regarding the many brands / manufacturers and Dylan confirmed all of my concerns. My old unit (Tempest) made by ICP lasted 22 years with no service calls, so my new unit (Comfortmaker), also made by ICP was the best choice. I received bids from 3 AC companies and Dylan came in with the lowest bid. In the end it’s not just the brand it's also the installer. I will use Big Bear for all future maintenance needs. Great Job!

Additional update to this review: It's been almost two years since Big Bear replaced my unit and I posted this review. Unfortunately the compressor went down and this is obviously a manufacturer issue and not installer issue. Big Bear had someone out there within 30 minutes of me calling and because they did their installation, they took full responsibility of the installation for the new compressor. You could not ask for better customer service and fair treatment from anyone.

This is the most responsive and responsible AC company I have ever dealt with. Even during one of our most difficult times which was after hurricane Milton hit our island, Big Bear AC was able to get to my place within a couple of days while other organizations were quoting me weeks. Additionally, their price remained fair and did not try in any way to jack up the price just because we were in need. This past week we discovered that the AC was not cooling well. I called Big Bear and they had someone out there the same day to correct the situation. They found that it was a small mistake on their part during the installation and with no questions asked they repaired my situation. I also recommended them to my neighbor who used them as well and he was extremely thankful to me because of the professionalism and how quickly they got to his job.

I hate to say it but I forgot the name of the person that answers their phones. She was the first reason why I decided to go with Big Bear after calling many companies in the area. She was attentive, friendly, and empathetic to our situation. More importantly, super responsive as well. It's truly a pleasure to deal with a company that doesn't feel like you need them more than they need you. They recognize customer service is important and in my book, the excel in that department.

Dylan came promptly. His team did a beautiful job with installing my mini-split system. They were careful and helpful. Dylan did a check up today and explained the system in more detail for me. And he cleaned the filters. I would recommend his company to anyone.
