I am very impressed with Big Bear. First—you call and they answer. Within 5 minutes they tell you if they can come. They took care of my tenant’s AC while the rest of the country was celebrating a holiday. I was so grateful. I am searching for a replacement for my former AC guy who retired. The last company I tried really gouged me. Big Bear’s charges were very fair. Good communication about the problem and the choices for addressing it. I am a fan.

Big Bear is a great company! My AC went out and they were able to come the next day and get it running until they installed a new HVAC system. They were very knowledgeable and I was able to work directly with the owner to figure out the best unit for my house. Dylan is very professional and the communication was excellent. They were not pushy and weren't just trying to sell me things like other companies I have used in the past. I highly recommend them!

Our A/C went out at some point in the night. We called and they were able to get us a diagnostic visit less than 3 hours after the call. Best of all, they repaired our existing a/c by replacing the blower motor instead of pushing a whole new system on us. I’d would solidly recommend big bear

I found Big Bear to be very responsive, courteous, and very fair with pricing. They came out within the same day, and there was no attempt to lie to me, or try to sell me a new unit, which most AC companies will certainly try to do.
I left my previous service company because they attempted to screw me over every time they came to the house. The reviews for Big Bear attracted me to them, and I am pleased to say that they were every bit as good as the reviews suggested, and I felt safe with them.
I will definitely be using them again, and recommend them strongly to anyone needing an efficient, competent, and above all else, honest, AC company.

We lost our AC in the last hurricane. Acree heating and AC was the only company that could help us at the time. We paid more money for a new unit than we should have but needed air conditioning. It’s not worked properly from day one. With Big Bear Heating and AC, the communication and service have been great. The pricing is fair as well. Highly recommended

This is a small company with a huge heart. They are professional, reasonable and even returned a call on Sunday afternoon. Hunter diagnosed our issue and had our AC back up and running quickly. There are no high pressure sale tactics. We really appreciate their employees style...from the call center to the technicians. They are first class.

Hunter the Great Bear Representative resolved our concerns regarding the Setting up of the nest making sure that the temperature was calibrated correctly he figured out a way to get better airflow to the master bedroom . What another great experience I had with Big Bear. I had an AC unit fail and they responded to my call immediately. They gave me the option of having them come out on a Sunday, but fortunately I was able to wait until Monday. They arrived as scheduled and resolved my issue. It's hard to find good contractors these days who do what they promise....Big Bear definitely delivers!

This HVAC company in Sarasota is an outlier. They are reliable, trust worthy, competent, fair, and have given us the result we were looking for - an HVAC system that is running well again. We have a robust system and multiple other companies could not figure out what the problem was, but Big Bear came to our rescue.

Big Bear Heating & Air is an amazing company. Dylan and his team are incredible. Our Hvac did not turn on on a hot summer day. We called Big Bear and within 5 minutes, Gwen helped schedule an appointment for us. Dylan, the owner, helped check our system and got it back up and running. He is the nicest, most honest and professional person we’ve worked with. We previously worked with 2 other hvac companies in Sarasota for our rental properties, none of them delivered such quality service at a reasonable price like Big Bear. Dylan did a great job. He was on time, neat, explained everything, found a problem that another company had created and fixed it. We are very satisfied with the work done.

I have a 1978 built home that had original ducts I had been wanting to replace for some time. I was having high humidity issues with a newer variable speed unit and mold started growing in the ducts so I called them. Dylan came out and spent a few hours trying to diagnose the issue. At the end, I asked what I owe and he said to not worry about it. I knew right then, this is the company I will hire to replace the now moldy ducts. At the same time, I was planning on getting new spray foam insulation. Big Bear worked seamlessly with Koala Insulation. Both companies coordinated their schedules to accommodate me. They removed the old ducts, spray foam came the next day and early the next morning, the Big Bear install crew arrived as scheduled. Their reliability kept me from going without ducts for only the day of spray foam installation. The crew worked hard both days and I'm very impressed with the new ducts. It's very pleasing to the eye how all the ducts are now suspended from the trusses and out of the way where I told them I plan on making a storage area. They accommodated all the requests I had and it's so nice to know I have clean fresh air in my living area.
