Modern Air & Refrig. is amazing. Last week our A/C stopped cooling. The tech sent, I believe his name was Daniel (he was very polite and handled himself in a very professional manner as well), fixed it but because it is an antient R22 unit he suggested we have it replaced. The landlord agreed and we had that replaced today. Mason was one of the techs that installed the unit. He was the first to arrive. He was very kind, respectful, and professional. He worked mostly on the condensing unit outside. Sidney was the other tech and he installed the air handler inside the house. They both answered all of my questions very patiently and understandingly and worked very quickly. They installed the unit a lot quicker than I had expected. I absolutely love this company and all of their employees, including the owner. They take pride in what they do and I have a great experience with them every time. Thanks guys! Problem solved! :-)

Greatly appreciate Modern Air and Refrigeration company for responding so quickly to the service call. Heat went out and technician showed up with all of the replacement parts on hand. Fixed our heat issue same day, which made our family super warm and comfortable. Thank you so much to Sergio and his great team for handling warranty process and saving our family money.

Josh was thorough and excellent at explaining the issue(s) going on with our HVAC system. He was very friendly, professional, and helpful. He was here for close to 4 hours working on diagnostics and being able to figure out where the major concerns were along with repairs. Would recommend Josh from Modern Air & Refrigeration for his time and dedication especially during colder weather conditions here in Florida.

Today Sergio did the maintenance service to our HVAC system that includes the main unit plus 2 minisplits.
Modern Air installed the system in 2020 and they have done the biannual service ever since then.
Sergio is by far the best technician we’ve had. He is highly knowledgeable, thorough, and personable.
From now on I will always ask to schedule our service with Sergio. Thank you very much. Jack

Sidney did a great job installing our new wine room AC. He was respectful of our property and cleaned up all the debris.
Modern Aire used all excellent materials and stuck with their estimate.

Syd and Mason installed a new AC system in my home and I am very happy with their work. The finished duct work is impressive and it took many hours to do in very tight attic spaces. They showed up on time each morning (2) and worked non stop til late in the day. Never in a rush but working steady and I never saw them take a break. The team was also very patient with me asking questions and watching their progress. My first contact with this company to get an estimate was Brett. He too was a pleasure to deal with and presented himself professionally. He knew the answers to my questions without having to contact someone else in the office/business. The SRQ county permit inspection for finished work was done this morning with no issues! Also I would like to say a good word about who was is in the office coordinating the appointments and county inspection. Sorry, I forgot her name.
