The service that Joey provided was excellent I will recommend him and Tropic Air to everyone he provided a precise evaluation of the condition of my ac and was very thorough and provided me with exceptional service I am very pleased

My AC went out at my place of business and no one could get to me in a timely manner. I made 1 call to Tropic Air and they were here within 30 minutes on a Friday to assess the job. I went ahead and approved the job and they showed up first thing the following Monday and got it all set up with a new HVAC system within 4 hours.
I couldn’t be happier. Thanks Joe Sr and Jr for the impeccable service and I will be calling for any AC needs as well as recommending Tropic Air to all friends and family!

The maintenance man was timely, clean looking, and knew at least something about A/C. However, he charged me $ 100.00 to keep the drain open. I accepted his offer, even though I I had a similar liquid that only charged for a bottle of bleach.

Kyle was very professional and helpful. He offered me another maintenance plan that I will take out at the beginning of the year.

Nov 5, 2025 Another exemplary service call. The air conditioner in our warehouse stopped working. Tropic Air came out the same afternoon and replaced the part. Excellent service. Quick replacement of two air conditioners/condensers. Air conditioning working perfectly. Two fans installed for our new printing equipment. Efficient and timely service.

My installation was fast and clean. The installers arrived when they said they would and were very pleasant and courteous. The unit runs great.

Kyle arrived on time, was courteous and professional, and finished the job in a quality manner. Very pleased.

Excellent Service all around and Great customer service. I called to have emergency service and they responded immediately as my breaker kept tripping and it was so hot in my house. The entire staff that helped us (Joe, Joey, and Mason) were all very kind and very helpful. They replaced my entire unit, checked everything, and made sure everything was perfect. Customer service means more to me than the actual service so I’m always super happy when I have excellent customer service. I highly recommend these guys for all of your AC needs.

Chris is a delightful service technician. Not much to do to service a mini-split. Clean filters and check pressures.
He is aware of our receiving a competitive bid for replacing our 2 and 2-½ ton units.

I can't say enough about this company and the people who work there. They have been a true blessing for myself and my family. Our technician was Joey. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. He truly cares about customers and always answers my questions. He explains why things work the way that they do, sharing his knowledge and offers tips and suggestions for how to prevent issues in the future. I definitely could not be an AC technician. Working in the heat all day, dealing with grumpy people is not my thing. He works until the job is done 100% and doesn't just rush to get to next customer or leave a job unfinished. Excellent service! Joe was on time, neat, and professional. Explained what had happened as he worked and kept his work area clean at all times. The price was definitely fair for the work that was done. He took no shortcuts and didn't try to upsell me on things I didn't need. Tropic Air will always be my AC company!

Thanks to Joe Harris, Rob the A/C tech and Racheal the office manager at Tropic Air Conditioning in Sarasota for the quick and affordable replacement of my air conditioner’s condensation pump. During the hot Fourth of July weekend, the old condensation pump that came with the house when we bought it in 2019 started making noises and later started dripping water.
I called Tropic Air Conditioning late in the morning on Wednesday, July 5, and Rob (the big guy in bib overalls) squeezed me into his busy schedule and stopped by around 5:30 p.m. to diagnose the problem. He cleaned the old pump that was plugged with sludge and showed me how to do the same in hopes that the old pump wouldn’t need replacement. Two days later the pump was still not functioning property so Rob squeezed me into his schedule again and installed a new condensation pump at a price that was much lower than I expected. If you need a new air conditioner or need your current air conditioner maintained or repaired I highly recommend calling Tropic Air Conditioning.

When our old 1990s air conditioner recently started freezing up and dripping water, I called Joe Harris at Tropic Air Conditioning on a Monday night and he had his technician, Rob, stop by the first thing Tuesday morning to diagnose the problem. Rob and Joe then provided an honest assessment of the situation. They said our old, outdated unit could be repaired and they would make it work if we couldn't afford a new one, but they also advised that our money would be much better spent on a new unit if we could afford it. Joe then told me about the one-year, no-interest financing program and he gave me a price estimate that was affordable and within our family's working class budget. The following morning Rob, Mike and George showed up with a new unit, and working as a team they made quick work of the installation. In addition to the excellent service, I enjoyed the engaging conversations I had with Rob, Mike and George as they worked. Our dog Mabel liked them too. This was my first experience buying a new air conditioner and I'm glad I called Tropic Air Conditioning to do the job. Joe H, Bradenton

My service from Tropic Air is always prompt and dependable. My tech, Fernando, was quite friendly and informative. He did regular maintenance and also fixed a minor problem I had with my Nest app.

TROPIC AIR WAS ABLE TO SCHEDULE THE SERVIVE ON SHORT NOTICE DUE TO A CANCELLATION, AND SERVICE TECH FERNANDO ARRIVE PROMPTLY WITHIN 2 HOURS. HE PROVIDED THROUGH SERVICE, HIGHLIGHTED MAINTENANCE ISSUES AND PHOTOS AND WENT THE EXTRA MILE TO COMPLETE THE 40 POINT CHECKUP IN A TIMELY MANNER.

Always great service. Joey is an expert and amazing to work with. My AC went out and they were out here same day. Helped with the warranty and had me up and running in no time. Highly recommend Tropic.
