CROOKS! CROOKS! CROOKS!!! STAY AWAY! This company has no local office, nobody ever answers, it's a total scam with the homeowners insurance company! It's A TOTAL SCAM!!!!

It’s been 3 days my air conditioning stopped working the said someone coming between 3 and 4 pm until now no one came. When called voicemail only pick up. Bad service 😡

Just as a follow up. This is the WORST company I have EVER dealt with. I still can’t believe any of these positive reviews. Try calling these a-holes yourself. They may answer once, but ask for a return call or follow up. Like Dracula, do not invite them into your home. You’ll most likely regret it!!!! They never followed up to any voicemails. Ultimately I had to use a local reputable AC company that actually answers the phone and returns phone calls. Because I was dealing with AHS (another miserable company - misery loves company) they would only pay so much to my now out of pocket expense. Ultimately costing me over a $1,000 just so I could get the job done. Thanks to these a-holes we were without a/c for 2 months while they strung AHS along. Once again, this company never responded to multiple voicemails over the 2 month period Leaving us with no A/C in the Florida summer with dogs in the house. THIS COMPANY IS WORTHLESS and does not care about you or your animals suffering in the Florida heat should you lose your AC.

After you read my review, read the other bad reviews here. Not sure if the good ones were friends, family and employees or not - who knows. But it’s a real trend with this company. They come out initially, then don’t fix the problem and then never return. Then they respond here when people complain by saying they don’t have you in their system.

All I can say is this company never, ever answers their phone or returns your phone calls. In my case, the technician diagnosed the problem and said we needed parts. That was the last we heard from them.

It’s now been over 6 weeks and over a dozen voice mails left, but no response. Meanwhile my house is unbearably hot and the poor dogs need a fan on them to stay cool. Pretty pathetic customer service.

My home warranty hired this outfit and I’ve never dealt with such an unprofessional outfit in my life. Six almost seven weeks later and my AC still isn’t fixed and for over three weeks I can’t get a return call to get a status update and neither can the home warranty company. Over a month ago they said the part would be here in a week then no contact. Four weeks ago they said the part would be here that week and now they’ve gone dead in the water. A simple update on what’s going on would have been appreciated but I guess that’s too much to ask. Although I’m sure they’ll come here and blame the home warranty co., I have no problem getting in touch with them. Having been a business owner for many moons, I’d gone out of business the first year if I handled my clients like this company. I see everyone seems to have the same problem so all I can say is beware.

I was referred to Florida construction from my home insurance and Walter Rozynski installed my new AC and has been extremely helpful during the process. Responds right away and has only been nothing but informative and hardworking. Great at what he does. I highly recommend.

Walter came to our home to service our AC. We determined that it needed to be replaced. He was thorough and informative and He did a professional job. He helped us with our thermostat and called several days in a row to make sure everything was working. I would give him 10 stars if I could. He’s the best!!!!!!

I couldn’t be happier with the service we had from Florida Construction. Walter, our technician was over and beyond great with communication before arriving, during the service call, and afterwards with follow up. He was able to assess and fix our problems quickly and efficiently. He really seemed to care about our issue and wanted to fix it, not put a “bandaid” temporary fix. High class service is what I got.

Hi there! I have a home warranty through American Home Shield. I filed a claim for service and my request was submitted to Florida Construction Authority. It has now been 48 hours since the initial request and this company noted in the AHS system that I was contacted. To the surprise of no one, I was not. After multiple messages from myself and American Home Shield, there has been ZERO response from this company. So thank you for the not so prompt service and poor communication. I mean if you're a fan of leaving voice mail and hearing yourself speak then this is the place for you! Don't worry, I'll forego the warranty cost just to not deal with this level of unprofessionalism.

Florida Construction Authority was assigned by American Home Sheild; came out as scheduled the first time reported we needed to have the lines cleaned and a new filter- next day house was back up to 88 degrees
Fast Forward 3 weeks later the house is still 88 degrees the technician has been here 3 times and reported back to American Home Sheild that there is nothing wrong with our AC and completed the service (told us he had no idea what was wrong).
Completely disgusting won’t return our call or American Home Sheild, quite certain setting the AC to 72 and it being 88 degrees in the house means there is something very wrong!

Edward was on time, thorough and professional. They even took off shoes before entering my home and answered my questions patiently. Dustin gave me the impression that he was working to address my problems, unlike some other contractors who try to profit from my problems. To me that separates good business from bad one. FCA was assigned my repair request through the home warranty company I use. I definitely would reach out to use them again on my own if the need arose.

What should have been a straight-forward repair was not because of a different company that improperly "fixed" the same thing a year ago.

I am very confident that FCA did a much better job at the repair this time. They had some issues with getting parts from a major AC supplier (not FCA's fault!); other than our mutual frustration with that supplier FCA did a stellar job in addressing the problem and making sure the system was operating normally. The tech went out of his way to check-in later in the day after he left to make sure everything was still working as expected (Walter, you're the best!). They were prompt and thorough, and very persistent - they understood what it is like to live in Florida without a functioning AC system this time of year.

Walter Rozynski promptly arrived at my Florida rental home to help me with my A/C system that had stopped blowing air. He did a great job fixing the thermostat and doing a complete maintenance service on all the equipment. I will definitely use him again and highly recommend him to others in the area.

This was the next contractor that American Home Shield Warranty set up for service to my air conditioning unit. They did not call me either, I had to call them. Charlton was the guy that I spoke to and he was personable and pleasant. Took my information and set up a date and time to come out. I made arrangements for my friend to be at my home because I was not able to take time off of work. She waited all day and no one showed up!! When I got home I contacted Charlton and he was very surprised that no one showed up. I asked him what was up and if he could call me back that day no matter what time. He did call me back around 7:00 p.m. and said the person he had scheduled to come out said he was not able to service my unit because it was on the roof and he felt it was too dangerous for him. He didn’t bother to come by, to call anyone or anything. So while Charlton was pleasant I would NEVER recommend this contractor for any services I might require. Plus, they marked the service as COMPLETE in the system so American Home Shield Warranty thought the work was done and so there was a delay in getting another one to come out

Walter was my point of contact through a service request with American Home Shield where he completely redid my HVAC system and made sure everything was properly installed. The process itself took a month and a half, but Walter was there every step of the way, checking in via text/call to make sure I was taken care of. Very professional, responsive, and always showed up on time. Thanks for your service and time, Walter!

This is the worst company ever!!! Do not use this company!!! I was referred to them by American Home Shield. I paid $1182 for the instal of my new AC unit. The house was still hot after the instal. They came back to the house and said my ductwork was bad. I had multiple companies come and they all said the ductwork is fine and that the unit was installed completely incorrect. I will now have to pay Durham and sons $1800 to install the unit correctly. Mary, the receptionist was supposed to send Gabe to fix the unit. I waited for 3 hours and he never showed up. Now she will not answer the phone and neither will her boss Chris. Durham and Sons (AC company in Brevard county) said the unit was not even connected to my flex inside my house so all my air is going outside. This company refused to fix the problem or give me a refund. I will be taking them to court!

Love these guys, Always take good care of us.
