The service calls used to be incredibly fair but now it’s 94 dollars on top of the parts and service rendered so the 200 dollar call is now 300. If you have multiple properties it’s time to look for better prices on maintenance. Excellent service and great though.

Preston was extremely pleasant and thoughtful. He went right to work had possitive feedback on my unit. Old but another year maybe. Im praying its longer. I absolutely recommend The Local Guy.

I have been using Local Guy A/C since they installed my air conditioner, and have been very happy with their service. I get maintenance twice a year, and they let me know when I am due for service. The technicians who come are always very polite and cordial.

Had to replace motor in my air handler. Jim arrived and replaced it efficiently and answered questions I had. Very pleasant and courteous. I've been a customer since moving here almost 5 years ago. I rely on this company for all my A/C repairs and yearly maintenance as they are always there at my beg and call. Very happy to be one of their customers.

Jordan and his helper came by to fix a problem with our air conditioner. He had no problem figuring out the problem and had it taken care of within half an hour 45 minutes. They stayed there to make sure everything was working fine and they are very friendly and knowledgeable. We are new to Florida and have had trouble with other air conditioning companies. local guy is the best

AC went out called and within the hour they were out diagnosed and had a repair plan in place. Helped us with a warranty and Came out next day repaired and AC working great! Really appreciate their service and Jim tech was great!!!

Air conditioner went out and I called Local Guy AC to repair as I had guests arriving in two days. After inspection and determination that it would be an expensive repair as all of the Freon had leaked out so I got an estimate on replacing it as it was a very old unit versus spending money on a system that was on its last legs. I asked if they could do it before my guests arrived and they assured me they could. The owner, Derek is very knowledgeable and professional and worked with his crew to make it happen. Since the air handler was in the attic, it was not an easy job, but they got it done! I have used Local Guy AC for many years now and they have always done a good job at fair prices and have repaired my AC’s during the hottest times of the year when they are the busiest. I had started using Local Guy AC after being ripped off by a previous company and it was the best decision I could have made. I highly recommend them.

Local Guy is probably the best company I have ever done business with. Had a problem with my a/c unit and was leaving the next day and needed the system fixed before I left. Local Guy came and fixed it before I left as promised. Highly recommend Local Guy to do business with.

He showed us exactly what went wrong, why it happened, and what to watch for moving forward. His knowledge, patience, and professionalism really put us at ease during a stressful situation. It’s rare to find a technician who is both highly skilled and genuinely informative. We are extremely grateful for Jim’s help and would highly recommend him to anyone needing AC service.

Arrived on time, answered all my questions and fixed my AC with a needed part. Also showed me pictures of concerns on my electrical to the unit ( unit is located on the roof) and will get back with me to see what is needed.. I’d recommend this company to anyone.. efficient, courtesy and honest!!!

Local AC guy is truly one of the best service companies out there. They are upfront, honest and on time. This company and all of the technicians are super professional and super easy to work with. Don’t get your AC worked on once - put your AC’s under scheduled contract with them and never worry about it again -they take care of everything for a very fair price.

We had Local Guy AC install new rooftop AC units on both of our River Pines units this week.

We had contacted a few different companies that had been recommended by some of our neighbors and decided to go with Local Guy. I'm so glad we did because this was the best experience we could have hoped for. We are so happy with every aspect of the process.

This is a smallish local company and the employees have been there a long time and work together wonderfully. They were so communicative throughout the process with constant texts letting us know what was happening and when. We never had to wonder what they were doing.

They gave us a very substantial discount for having two units replaced. That helped a lot.

They have a really good web portal where you can see estimates (which are also emailed to you) and make your payment. We were able to use our airline miles credit card to pay with no extra processing fee, which is really a nice perk. They also have financing if you need it.

Thy coordinated the installation with the roofing company South Paradise Roofing--also great) because the ACs not have to be installed on metal stands. The roofers need to come to affix the stands to the concrete roof. All that was taken care of between the two companies and we didn't have to do any of that scheduling. On the day of installation both companies were here and worked together. It was so nice.

Everyone we worked with was not only professional, but also very friendly and communicative. I want to mention Lindsay, who's in the office, Derek, Jordan, Leroy, Brian and Nick. Everyone was so conscientious, making sure every little detail was done right.

I have recommended this company to others in River Pines after documenting the entire process from start to finish in our private neighborhood Facebook group.

I highly recommend Local Guy AC.
