In twenty-six years we've only required professional plumbing services twice. Both times Lance Maxwell's staff came to the rescue. They are knowledgeable, thorough, and they are not over-priced.

We had a waterline put in. The service the technician did was very well done. The Technician was so polite and courteous. He left the job very clean and well organized. Definitely worth having them out. Will call them again, if I need to.

Called and scheduled appointment a few days ahead of time. The guy tried to show up a day early, but we had other work that needed to be done that day before they could do the plumbing. They told us to call them back if the other company finished early but regardless they would be there the next day. Called to let them know they could come that day, but no answer. We assumed we would stay on the books for our regularly scheduled day but i called to confirm and they said our ticket had been canceled. Told us that they would work to get us in that day if they could but it may be the following day before they could get out there. Never heard from them that day. We followed up with them the next day and they told us they were working on a project but would be there after that. Around mid afternoon, we still haven't heard from anyone. Called and they told us that they are trying to work us in but it had been very busy and there were emergencies. You would think a company would work their hardest to fit someone in that had a scheduled appointment that they screwed up in the first place. Poor communication skills.

Lance's team really came through for me at a very difficult time. I was getting the runaround from my insurance carrier, but the folks at Maxwell Plumbing made up for that by being willing to spring into action to fix the damaged plumbing system. Many thanks to Lance, Christy, Jason, Jeremy and Mason. I can't say enough positive things about my experience with this company. You can tell that the owner is a Marine, and that is another good reason to use Maxwell Plumbing.

Called them this morning they said they'd send someone out around mid-morning and would call when on the way. I got a call said his name was Taylor and would be there in 11 minutes. He got there within minutes of my getting back home. He was courteous, friendly and was actually singing to himself as he went about his work. He seemed to enjoy his work, if/when I'm ever in need of a plumber again I will ask for him.

It’s nice to know that there is a company in town after getting ripped off for many years by other plumbing companies that is professional that gives wonderful service the technicians were awesome the pricing was incredible and what more can I say other than it was the best plumbing experience I’ve ever had. I have many more small jobs coming up in the near future but I will definitely be calling you guys for. I’m glad that the plumber that I usually use was not available I knew that they had really been ripping me off but now after her used to you guys I get to really see how bad they were ripping me off. Called this morning for someone to come out for some minor pipe work before cabinets will be installed. Don't know if this is typical, but someone was at my home within half an hour of my initial call. The guy was very friendly, he did great work, and it only took about an hour. Cost me almost exactly $100. parts, labor, everything. Will most definitely use them again when I have more work to be done. Would recommend to anyone!

I was pleasantly surprised when I was able to have my water heater serviced on the same day I called! The lady who scheduled the service call was courteous, friendly, and efficient. The technician was polite and thorough--my issue was quickly and completely resolved. I'd definitely call them the next time I needed any kind of plumbing work done.

I can’t say enough great things about Lance Maxwell Plumbing. My elderly mother used them for a new “high rise” toilet and upgrades/changes to her bathroom and kitchen sinks. They were very timely, honest, nice, did a great job and super patient as well. I truly appreciate this company and would recommend with zero hesitation. Thank you!

We paid $240 and our problem was only fixed for four days. A technician came out to look at a plumbing backup. Four days later the exact same issue happened and they want to charge another $400(ish) to come diagnose and fix the problem because there are no warranties on backups. I understand this policy if we had another backup months later, but FOUR DAYS later (with only two grown adults living here) this is clearly the same issue that wasn’t resolved the first time. Such a waste of money, this is terrible customer service.

Lance Maxwell Plumbing was on site to fix a water main leak at the Meadows Soccer Complex in no time. All facilities were out during a game weekend with a packed park until the fix.

Matt came to fix a small leak under my kitchen sink. I only use Lance Maxwell Plumbing for any plumbing I need. They are always good but Matt was great!

Second time using Lance Maxwell Plumbing and second time having a great experience! First time was to fix a broken toilet seal and leaking tub faucet, second time to unclog our sink. Both were fixed quickly - Justin worked with us both times and was friendly, helpful, and professional. Got everything working again!

Very disappointed and money wasted. Plumber lacked experience with sewer pump and did not solve problem. Said get tank pumped. Problem was float not working which he should have detected. Once recommended Maxwell to friends but will not again.

Lance Maxwell Plumbing responded promptly to my service call and fixed our toilet and sink spray head quickly. However, I was surprised to be charged a flat minimum service fee of $144 for a brief visit of about 5–10 minutes, especially since no new materials were installed. After calling the office, I learned that this is their standard minimum charge, which seems much higher than the typical rates I’ve encountered locally (usually closer to $75-80 for a service call). What’s more, the toilet needed repair because a sticker was left inside the tank during their original install, and this sticker ended up causing the problem—but no adjustment or consideration was offered. I appreciate their promptness, but customers should be aware that the minimum fee is on the high side, and communication around charges and responsibility for previous work may not always feel fair. Be sure to ask about rates and billing policies beforehand.

I recently had Abel over for some plumbing work, and he was truly fantastic. He replaced a few elements of our water heater—which we’d bought just last year—and even took the time to see if any of it could be covered under the warranty. He really went above and beyond, and I can’t recommend him highly enough!

Richard picked up the phone late at night when our sewer pump was not working and professionally consulted to understand the situation and then came out promptly. He diagnosed the problem and helpfully solved it - it was an electrical breaker that had flipped likely due to a recent power outage. He told me how to look out for the same issue in the future.

Richard was great to work with. Very helpful, thorough, a clear communicator, and hard working. I really appreciate that he made my spouse's and my situation easier than it could have been that night. Thank you, Richard!

Last note: We called 2-to-3 other plumbing companies that night and none could help us after hours. Perhaps after hours plumbing service is less common in Tallahassee now. But Brown Plumbing came through and I will call them first in the future outside of business hours when needs arrive.

Richard stopped by my house today, did a thorough job, very kind man, great service at a nice price. Would reccomend giving a shout out to Brown if you have a plumbing issue that needs fixed!

Keep checking for a leak under my sink, but since Joel of Browns Plumbing came, it is dry as a bone under there! Thanks Brown's Plumbing for efficient and courteous service!

Jerry & Fluffy were awesome; quick to diagnose and fix my water leak, and very personable. Im going to plan on recommending these guys as well as using them again in the future!
