Very reputable company. All needs met. Workmanship was impeccable. Cost is very effective and has saved me alot of money. They clearly explain the process from the beginning to end and met all needs after installation.

I had a excellent experience with SEW. They were kind and easy to work with, knowledgeable of their industry. They handled everything once you were a client. They were prompt and communication was excellent. My sales person was great and would text regularly with updates. They really walk you through the whole process. Their warranty was also better than any other solar company I could find. Would definitely recommend.

This company is the epitome of sell, sell, sell, and consequences be damned. During the sales process, I heard from them every other day. Once we signed, crickets. They came and installed the system, but their installers didn't follow the wiring plans that were submitted to the city, so we failed our first inspection due to the Solar Energy World's installers not following their own engineers plans. They had zero sense of urgency in getting an tech out to fix the issue and even less urgency to schedule the re-inspection. From the first inspection to final passage was an entire month, when the tech's work literally took 1 hour when they finally found the time to send someone.

Since the final inspection and passage, the company has made no contact with me regarding interconnection with our utility company and it's been more than a week since the final inspection and passage. I just emailed them to find out what is up, but I don't expect any quick communications at all.

All I will say is if you want a company that gives service after the sale, this is NOT the place. While our sales guy, David, is nice, he is ineffective at being able to escalate items, and his boss, Seth, even worse. Don't fall for these folks and find a better solar company.

My experience with Solar Energy World was made exceptional because of my sales rep, Travis Kent.

I’ll be honest - I put Travis THROUGH THE WRINGER. I used AI tools extensively to question and challenge contract language, processes, and assumptions, and I had a lot of concerns going in. Through it all, Travis was patient, transparent, and genuinely focused on helping me understand what I was signing without rushing me or brushing anything aside.

The initial contract through IGS Solar didn’t leave me feeling comfortable, and instead of pushing forward anyway, Travis stayed engaged. When GoodLeap became available with much more detailed and consumer-friendly terms, he proactively reached back out. That moment spoke volumes and completely changed my confidence level.

He was always responsive, helpful, and professional, and never made my questions feel like a burden. What could have been a stressful experience turned into a positive one because he earned my trust every step of the way.

Alex Flax, our account manager, has done an excellent job in rationalizing why SEW is the best choice for us and I definitely confirmed it in an in depth research. He also helped moving the survey along ASAP and dealing with the various players in SEW.
I got Alex another referral based on the smooth installation and follow up roof tile replacement by a top roofing company. Alex continues to communicate periodically on various topics like ROI spreadsheet based on Teco bill and Enhphase data.

Solar Energy World did a great job in working around my existing solar pool heater and getting as many panels as I need to power my battery and home. Travis kept me informed every step of the way, and they waited for all the inspectors so I didnt have to miss any work. Thank you.

I am extremely upset with Solar Energy World and cannot recommend anyone do business with them. Part of my purchase agreement with them was for them to remove and reinstall the system for 1 roof replacement. I had the system installed about three years ago, but my roof was severely storm damage, damaged and needed replacement. They made it extremely difficult to get the system removed for the roof replacement and they have failed to reinstall the system. They were scheduled originally to reinstall it the first week of February, and they are now failing to even communicate with me and have verbally refused to reinstall. They will not respond to my written requests

We had our roof done and solar installed. The salesman Brent Cotten was great. They sent an excellent roof crew who did our roof in 1 day. The solar install went equally well. I was glad we decided to go with solar energy world.

My panels were installed by Solar Energy World in Tampa, and the sale Rep. Damien was a pleasure to deal with. He was very attentive and helpful throughout installation process. I will recommend him and the company to whoever is looking to install Solar Panels.

First of all, Travis Kent has great charisma and an excellent ability to explain the process in detail. From the initial presentation, everything he promised, he delivered.

I personally gave him and his company a bit of a hard time because we were under a very tight timeline to make everything happen before December 31st. We had a great experience with Solar Energy World. The price was reasonable and the work was done on schedule. Travis really kept up with communication and answered questions whenever they came up. Now that the system is active I love looking at the app to see the energy we’re producing!

Great experience with Solar Energy World. Brent Cotton is a highly experienced industry veteran who worked with me to ensure the system was installed before the end of the year. The entire team from sales, project management, engineering designers, installers were wonderful. My system is 24.7kw using 61x405 watt panels and 61xEnphase IQ8+ microinverters. They completed the install in one day.

So far my experience with this company has been great. The agent Brent Cotton was very helpful and transparent with my estimate. Installation and inspection was quicker than expected. No issues with roof so far and my system is producing a lot of energy, already had my first bill of 0 dollars and generating extra credits for the summer. Absolutely recommend this company.

Got setup with them thanks to the Orange County Co-Op program they ran last year and couldnt have been happier. From Alex (our sales engineer) to the entire crew, they did an outstanding job. They were super transparent, offered great and easy financing and the install crew were super professional (everyone is an employee of Solar Energy World, no third-party contractors). If your roof is compatible, they also work with a new type of "anchor" that no longer requires any drilling into your roof and no attic access required (sharing pictures of what they look like), which made installation so much better and made me feel ever better about working with them.

We had a great experience with Solar Energy World. They are professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Our solar array is large and ground mounted in a hill, not an easy install. They surveyed the grounds with a drone and brought a company from Texas that specializes on ground mounts. Robot driven helix mounts assure us that it was going to be hurricane proof and it has been tested already with no problems. Our return on investment is right on track. Our power bills went from an average of $850 to $45 average. We figured we'll pay for the investment in 5 years. The system has a warranty of 30 years so we figure "not having" a power bill will be a good selling point, our pocketbook and the environment. SEW delivered with knowledge and grace. Management made themselves available for any questions or requests. Highly recommend them.

Great company to work with. I received multiple quotes and decided Solar Energy World was the best for me. The quotes & systems were quite similar with all the companies but the way they handled themselves was very different. My sales rep Bobby Lyons was super friendly, personable, & helpful. I did not feel pressured to make a decision I was not comfortable with. They worked with me to find the best solution for my needs. Just had my system installed last week & it looks great. Install team was fast & professional. Recommend anyone looking for solar to check Solar Energy World out.

Never in all my years have I encountered a company/owner like Elkins! Mark and his team are highly skilled, consummate professionals, and extremely friendly and caring. They did a complete electric overhaul of our church facilities and knocked it out of the park! I live in a 12 floor condo in downtown Tampa built 2008-ish. My unit is two floors away from my parking spot. I assumed I wouldn’t be able to install a Tesla charger and that started to be a headache for me. I consulted Elkins Electric who does lots of work in my building. The owner, Mark, said he could make it happen. He dealt with my management company and whatever approvals were required without one bit of work or effort on my part. We agreed on an install date. I came home and, voila, there’s my charger. It makes my life so much easier.
And so with the great work he did on that, I hired him to install an electrical socket in my bathroom so that I could put in a fancy bidet Same great service experience. Thank you Mark. Life is good now wIth my electric car, my charger, and my bidet.
