They are the worst company That I have ever dealt with. They were great with the installation , but once that was done, you could never get a hold of someone from Solar Energy. My unit was installed a month ago and still not working FPL has been here and said okay to turn on solar and they have done nothing. I have talked to Bill the so called salesmen and he does not return phone calls, The 800 number all you do is leave messages and no return call. If you are looking for SERVICE after the installation They are not the company you want. I wasted $30,000 for solar and I nothing to show for it. I am stuck with a company for 30 years ,who promised me everything and gave me nothing. Do not use this company ,Go with someone else

I really enjoy doing work for Solar energy world i do all trees removals in Maryland Troy is very responsive and possess a great comunication skills i recomend Solar Energy world.solar panels are the future of energy production

5 Star performance from the sales consultation through installation. The company, however, needs to make its referral program seamless. While I eventually received the fee I was promised for a referral, the initial payment was only for 50% of the fee. I was very pleased with the support people who resolved the problem with the initial payment.

Recently, I have been reading posts from my neighbors in Florida who are concerned about rising electrical rates. My last bill was only $40. I would recommend Solar Energy World and installing solar panels.

We recently had our solar system serviced, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of the team. From start to finish, the communication was clear, the technicians were knowledgeable and courteous, and they had everything back up and running in no time.

It’s such a relief to have our solar system working properly again, and I truly appreciate the quick turnaround and attention to detail. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone in need of solar installation, maintenance, or repair. Thank you for a job well done!

Solar cells were installed quickly and professionally. The only frustrating part is waiting for the county to approve. I have absolutely no complaints and Solar Energy World. They gave me a good deal, and I would recommend them to anyone.

My experience so far has been great. From the salesman (Jack DaSilva) to the installers, everyone seems focused on the customer and their needs. The process has been seamless and the install was quick. Now waiting on the county and TECO to get the system going. 🤞

Great company. Travis Kent has been awesome throughout this entire process. I can’t recommend this company enough. If you are in the market for solar, this is the company.

Very happy with the process from start to finish. The company was good at keeping me informed and did the things they said they would - when they said they would. Best of all is the savings on my electric bill.

Eric Winkler was an OUTSTANDING rep as well as Solar Energy World overall. Highly recommend for your solar needs. Ask for him if you can.

After doing my homework and educating myself on solar; I decided to get several quotes. I finally decided on Solar Energy World; they were not the most inexpensive nor the most expensive. I believe in their products and their promise to be there.
For me, ownership was the decision I made vs leasing. I got 39 400 watt Solar panels. I have a 1 story 2400 sqft home with high ceilings. I pay an annual $1M liability insurance policy since TECO requires it; its approximately $575 a year.

The first year was a learning year and it rained a lot; I still had an electric bill but it was minimal.
The 2nd year was an eye opener. I mainly had my minimal electric bill and I managed to have a"bank" of KWH on my electric bill. So far in 2025 I've only paid my minimal electric bill which runs about $11 a month plus I pay for zapcap (surge protector w/TECO), which brings my monthly bill to $21.

What really helped me move forward with solar was the visual of the estimated future monthly increasing electric cost; electricity is not going to be going down... so a set monthly bill with the ability to payoff sooner then the loan time frame vs a lease.

4 stars were given due to an electrical error that one of their workers made. Though they did come the morning that the situation took place, no one actually called me to tell me someone was on their way. Once they got here, the situation was taken care of and I have not had anymore problems. Actually, I'm really happy with it.

So, I leave you with this:
    -Do your homework.
-Understand that you can not payoff a lease but you can payoff a loan.
    - There will be a learning time frame that things can happen... but know that Solar Energy World will jump in to fix it and/or make it right.
-Solar depends on the sun shinning. Though my panels still produce on cloudy days... but nowhere close to a beautiful sunny day.
-If trying to decide to get batteries... ask yourself if your electric company banks your overage and if you can handle black outs without electricity. Solar does not work during blackouts if you don't have power storage. I have a generator I use during hurricane blackouts. So, for now, until batteries become reasonably priced.. I can wait. But can you?

Regarding Solar incentives... they are ending 12/31/25. I'm glad I jumped in when I could to take advantage of this.

I hope I helped you clarify some of your questions.

    To brighter tomorrows,
    Glory Medina - Tampa

I am a two years in from my install and am still very pleased. They were very responsive to my concerns and things that I wanted to know. They also listened to my power needs for the future and built a system to meet my requirements. If you want a system built and understand that things done right take a little time and effort and don't just want a system put on your roof overnight you will be pleased with Solar Energy World too. Still only paying my basic service fee haven't paid for a kilowatt to the electric company in 2 years. The overage even covers some of my cost when they apply my credit each year.

Alex Flax did an exceptional job throughout the entire solar process. His professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail made everything smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend Alex.”

I highly recommend Solar Energy World. We had previously had a bad experience with a company called InFenergy who did nothing. SEW got busy and got the job done. This was a small job on a 800 square-foot home so it was not a hugely profitable installation for them but they performed it as if it were. Mike, the initial salesman and consultant is remarkably responsive to questions and comments. Emailing him is like chatting. He responds in almost real time. The installers were courteous and professional As well. In my opinion I think you oughta’ hire Solar Energy World.

Since my system was “repaired” Nov 20 2025, 11 panels have continued to be down. Despite phone calls to tne company every week or two, always with a promise to schedule another service call, I am still waiting for someone to address this situation and am paying my Electric Company for energy my panels should be have generated all of this time. Very disappointed in Solar Energy World.

Overall would recommend. Alex is a great salesperson to work with and very timely and quick with his communication. The portal is very good and all round the communication is excellent.

Solar Energy World made the process of getting solar go very smoothly. Our Field Energy Advisor, Joshua Nagel, was excellent to work with. Great experience so far!

Solar Energy World installed a solar system on my 4100 sf home when my town had a "join together" event that made it more affordable. I chose to get a system approximately 1/2 the full recommended size, due to cost, and a Tesla battery for backup. I could not be happier with my system. It has over performed from the very first day. I currently am getting approximately 70% of my energy needs from the system, when I was hoping for half, and on sunny days I export more than I use. This includes charging my Tesla car by solar. My bill dropped from $800 a month to about $200 immediately, even before I could sell back energy to Duke energy. I can't wait to see my next bill, now that I am exporting more than I use on many days. I expect my ROI to be much shorter than I had anticipated.

From the very first, my sales contact Damien Odle was fantastic. He was very professional, friendly, and had the answers to my questions. He has stayed in touch by text (my preference) throughout the process. If my question required further communication with the installers, he got back to me immediately after finding the answer. Even after the process, he has been available to continue to answer questions about the process and the technology. Absolutely outstanding customer service and seamless installation! I could not be happier with my experience. I love my solar roof! So does the earth and my bank account. Thank you, Solar Energy World and Damien.

No sense of urgency, lack of customer service, no internal communication within the organization. I paid 3 months of $500-$600 electric bills during the hot Florida summer months because it took them 3 months to get someone to my house to fix the wiring issue. It wasn’t until I reached out to the CEO of the company that someone finally got a sense of urgency to schedule a technician to come to my house. For the past 2 years of taking over new ownership, I still can’t get them to take off the previous owners name on the account stills to this day. When we bought the house with the Platinum Warranty, they never told us about contacting the monitoring company (Enphase) that monitors and notifies you of issues. And because of all this, it costs of thousands of dollars electric bills and they just didn’t seem to care.

We have had our solar system for almost 5 years now. Solar Energy World did a great job on the original installation. They recently had to repair some minor issues that were covered by warranty. German arrived promptly and fixed the issues. He was very friendly and explained the issues and repaired them. He was also a pleasure to talk to. I highly recommend this company
