Great company, very reasonable

I’ve used Elkins Electric two times so far. The first time they installed two ceiling fans.
The second time was an emergency. They came out immediately and fixed the damaged wire. Each time the cost was very reasonable and they cleaned up after themselves and were very professional!

Scruggs was recommended to us when we move into our SH home a few years ago. Our breaker panels have been maxed out, and Scruggs has been here a handful of times to offer a few short term solutions while we gear up for the long term one. The team is always professional, and fair and while I don't generally enjoy having to call the electrician, it's been a pleasure!

As a Realtor the quality of a vendor’s work means everything to me and to my clients. I would highly recommend Scruggs Electric! Dennis and his crew have done work for me at my personal home and for my real estate customers for many years and they deliver such a stellar service we have never been unhappy with the quality of work. If they say they are going to be at your home- they are there! Unlike other companies that give you the run around, you won’t get that with Scruggs Electric.

Used them one time to remove knob and tube wiring and get a letter for Teco, they were 30 minutes late and I had to call to see if they were on their way. On the phone it sounded like they forgot to put it on the schedule and came about an hour late. This wasn't the biggest deal, so I still tried to hire them again to verify an electrical panel for an insurance purposes. According to them, this was a quick job but they couldn't get me on the schedule for a week which was outside my requested times and days but I agreed to it because I needed it done. They were 30 minutes late again and I had to call to see if they were on their way because I was waiting to leave for work. It sounded like they had no idea I was even on the schedule again or what the job was even for. Then, they apologized and said they'd come at the same time the next day. I said I can't take off work again that week. Found another company that did it for half the price this one quoted me for and scheduled it at a time that was convenient for me.

I’ve had Dennis’s crew complete a couple projects for me. They are professional, know what they are doing, timely, and please any even when dealing with less than desirable situations with the city and permits.

I had a great experience with Michael at Scruggs Electric. After a power surge, I was having trouble with a breaker and he took the time to troubleshoot it with me over the phone. He walked me through everything step by step and explained it all in a way that was easy to understand, even for someone with no electrical background. He was kind, patient, and genuinely helpful. Thanks to him, I didn’t need a service call. I highly recommend Michael and Scruggs Electric.

A: was the only company to call me back at 8pm with what I considered an emergency: feeder wire in the meter can shorted and was glowing red hot. Came out at 10pm and got us safe for the night.

B: came back next morning to replace the can and wires, was polite, professional and completed the work.

C: fact is electricians aren’t cheap, but I found his invoice to be very reasonable.

I just want to thank everyone at Transform Solar for the great job they did Installing our solar panels. My husband was particularly impressed with Billi, the electrician. Whoever trained her should be proud of her. She did an awesome job. All the lines look neat. She was very meticulous with everything she did. 😀Ryan and the rest of the team were great as well. Bless their hearts, they were drowned last week in the downpour we got. They promised to be back today to finish up, and they were. 😀

Jose Luis, Juan David, and the rest of the team took care of my house during the installation as if it was their own. Working with Transform Solar felt trustworthy, professional, and fully transparent throughout the entire process. Picking another company would’ve been a mistake.

Today Dave and Bobby and crew finished my install on schedule and professionally. Jacob my salesman, was not pushy but worked with me to provide a competitive bid but what sealed the deal was the Solar Insure policy they included in their price. All of their components are top in their class and technology. You can sign a contract with these guys and not lose any sleep over it. I look forward to going online soon and generating my own electricity.
