I had them install a new outlet for some new network equipment . I told Antonio I prefer a new circuit if possible, but it would require installing a split breaker. It doesn’t look like he even tried to do that, left unpatched holes in the drywall, and didn’t document which circuit was used. I’ll have to trace it myself. They price out of a pricebook like a car place. I paid 385 for about 1 hour of work. I should have don’t it myself. I won’t use this company again. I am disappointed.

Updated. It’s even worse than I thought. This is a very lazy person. The photo is where the tap was made. It taps into the circuit going to the pool subpannel. The junction box was left open and uncovered. Pretty sure that is a code violation for a licensed electrician. I had to leave before he finished (my wife was home). I’m sure that’s why the lazy and sloppy work.

Quality timely work was done and scheduling was efficient. Cons- there was limited ability to communicate once the estimate was done, no one returned emails. I didn't have time to talk on the phone during business hours. Part of the works was that I asked for a recessed outlet, and that was not done, just a regular outlet. Also, I was upsold a surge suppressor, which was probably needed, but I wouldn't have spent that much for one and wasn't really given an option.

Called Small Jobs for 2 small jobs. The technician, Jacob, arrived on time, was very professional and courteous. Jacob listened to what we wanted, offered us a few options and did the job we decided on quickly and very much to our satisfaction. I would definitely use them again and would recommend Small Jobs to anyone who needed electrical work done.

We had an outlet in the back porch, which was not working. Our Jacuzzi was plugged into that outlet, so obviously when we got in the Jacuzzi, it was cold and the blowers weren’t working. We called and within an hour Jay, the technician showed up at our door. Jay was very polite and informed of what he was planning to do. He went over the cost and possible options, Depending on what he found. He found the problem and fixed it. Later that night, the Jacuzzi was back to its temperature and Jay saved the day. Thank you so much.

After confirming appointment, Luis Paz came out to my property to switch a 240v service to a 120v service at the breaker. I was not aware of flood damage to the panel. My HOA is switching my old breaker box to a new panel in the near future. Luis advised me that he would have to install and wire a new panel. He saved me my time and money be advising to wait for Teco to do their upgrade. Thank you for being honest and professional. I will definitely call Small Jobs Electric for any electrical jobs I need done in the future.

I apologize for the delay in writing a review. A couple weeks ago, I had a couple minor items to fix in a home I am buying. Luis was my technician and I couldn't be more impressed! He came to place wiring in a conduit to my water heater, and remedy a "double-tap" in the breaker box. Luis was prompt, knowledgeable, and explained everything he did in terms I understood. I've had them do a couple pretty big jobs and they are so awesome to work with. We had electric ran to 6 palm trees and an outdoor heater installed today. Highly recommend!

Called to inquire if a wall plug could be added for a wall mounted tv so the power cord would not be visible. "Yes we can send someone out to look at it and provide a quote ". Great when can someone come out? "Within the hour Samuel can come out" What, really, ok great. Samuel looked at the project, said no problem I can do it. When are you available? "I can do it right now" What, what, really ok. And 2 hours later the job was completed Boom!! Samuel was professional and did an excellent job. I will surely let others know about Small Job Electric. Antonio did an excellent job and was very nice. Explained everything and what we needed to stop further breaker problems. We would recommend him highly, and will call to have him come out again to install lights. Installed 3 lights outside and fixed inside switch. Excellent job again!

Was able to get an appointment quickly. I am new home owner alot of work was done inspector should have notice so I can negotiate with seller. Jacob did s great job explaining and installing and getting electrical to work as it should. He installed new fuses new gfi outlets . Surge protector in fuse and ac. He did great job cleaned up when was done. One of the outlets was loose he came right back and put a new screw and definitely will recommend Jacob in the future.
