Progressive Air Systems installed the HVAC system in my brand-new construction home, and the system has had serious temperature imbalance issues since move-in.

Within the first month, my daughter’s bedroom was consistently overheating (78–80°F) while the thermostat was set to 71°F. A service visit was performed, but the issue was never fully resolved — it was only temporarily adjusted.

Now, during cold weather, the same room has the opposite problem and is significantly colder than the rest of the house. I have documented large differences in supply vent temperatures on the same system (ranging from the low 70s°F to around 90°F), uneven airflow, and wall temperatures in the mid-60s°F while the thermostat reads 67°F.

This clearly points to an HVAC distribution or balancing issue (ductwork, dampers, airflow, or insulation), not a thermostat or “weather” issue. The system produces heat, but it is not being delivered evenly throughout the home.

For a new construction installation, this should not be happening. I am currently pursuing a warranty service request and hope this can be properly evaluated and corrected rather than temporarily adjusted again.

I’m sharing this review so other homeowners are aware and so the company takes these issues seriously.

Wow! My AC refused to turn on, i tried everything, nothing worked. Called Momentum AC who always has helped me out and they sent Jerry. My man Jerry was EXCELLENT FAST AND SMART! A+ guy!! Great great work and communication. Jerry is the best!!

We had an install done today by William at the house we rent. I've worked in ac for the last 18 years, so I know a good install when I see one. He did an excellent job. I highly recommend,if you live in the Tampa area,to contact them for your ac needs.
Update to review: Aug 2nd we had Jonathan Flowers come out today to install the required heat strip in our new a/c system. What a great representative of your company. He was on time. Polite, personable and courteous. He's a great asset to your team of employees. Your office staff was great as well. From start to finish this has been a great experience with your company! Keep up the good work, there aren't alot of companies like yours around anymore!

Called momentum AC and electrical because we had a shortage in our garage. Their electrician Sergio was sent out. He quickly found the problem and kept us posted the whole way on everything that was being done. He worked so clean and efficient we will definitely recommend Sergio and momentum for all AC and electrical work.

Jerry was outstanding. My AC went out and he came out on a Sunday morning. Very knowledgeable and got my system running within 10 minutes. As a young father to 3 kids he eased my mind and gave me some tips on how to keep the system running. Thanks Jerry!

We have a maintenance plan with Momentum AC. They come out every 6 months to service your AC system. Josh is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. Any recommendations he makes you can be confident he is making them with your best interest in mind. Excellent company to have service your system.

Momentum sent out Jerry to take a look at our AC unit that wasn’t working properly. He worked quickly and got it back up and running serviced it and scheduled us out for our next service to make sure this wouldn’t happen to us again. Jerry was amazing he educated me on how to take care of my AC. He was very professional and friendly .He was here over 1 month ago and I had not posted a review because I wanted to make sure my AC would not have any issues . I am happy to say that i have not had issues since his visit . I was using small companies thinking that i was saving money but they would come fix it and then days later would not answer when I called back to say that i had issues so i finally decided to go with momentum. I called momentum because I had no heat. Emmanuel came out and diagnosed the problem. He bypass the bad parts so I would have heat till the part came in. The next week the parts came in and Josh installed them. I’m very happy with both technician that came out. They are very pleasant people and very knowledgeable. I will call Momentum, if I have anymore problems with my heat or a/c.

I called Friday morning and they had someone come out same morning. Sergio was very helpful every step of the way and thorough in the inspection. Electrical prices are very affordable.

Ryan was so friendly and professional! He got a new thermostat installed same-day, and once he got it fixed, stuck around to make sure everything got cold and stayed cold. Will be calling back for him for any future issues!
