I could not be more thrilled about my new heat pump installation from Independent Air Conditioning. The communication with this company is excellent. The installation went perfectly, and Jerry, Denny and Pete did a herculean job battling the 120° in the attic. Thank you guys so much.

It’s only been 24 hours since the installation, but there is a remarkable improvement from our last installation in the efficiency of cooling throughout the house. It’s almost as if your indoor climate control is quietly working in the background and you barely notice it.

I would highly recommend Independent Air Conditioning to anyone looking for competent and honest professionals. They are top notch.

INTEGRITY—HONESTY—TRUSTWORTHY

These are the words that come to mind after came back after installation to do some fine-tuning of my new air-conditioning system. I have a particularly difficult attic, so some further work was necessary to ensure humidity levels in my home were at their proper levels.

Ernesto, who is one of the technicians at Independent air conditioning spent a couple days ensuring that everything was functioning properly and to the manufacture specifications. I can’t speak more highly about Ernesto and his knowledge, skills and ability to troubleshoot problems. He is probably one of the best technicians I have ever had in my home.

As my above review states, Independent air conditioning is a company that you can fully trust for all of your environmental needs when it comes to cooling and heating. Their honesty and integrity is beyond reproach.

I've been using Independent Air since 2013 and they have been steady, reliable and trustworthy. Like someone else said, these guys do great work! Reliable and priced fairly. Professional ,hard working and all around nice folks.

it never fails. the air conditioner does not go out during regular business hours. Friday afternoon late the air quit running a quick call to Independent air and they said they couldn't get there today but they would be here first thing Saturday. they arrive promptly, diagnosed the problem and had me up and running before lunch. Nice job guys. I do appreciate the service.

Independent Air installed my unit in 2012. They come every 6 months for maintenance, and I have not had any issues with the unit itself or the service this company provides. They are trustworthy, which is so important these days. The owner, Joe is wonderful. Would highly recommend to anyone needing a new unit or service on a preexisting one. Keep up the great work Independent Air!!!!!

I have been a very happy Independent Air customer for quite a few years. When my AC stopped working, Independent Air sent a repairman very quickly even though it was late in the day. The company has always provided prompt service and the technicians are very knowledgeable and friendly. I recommended Independent Air to a friend, and they are also extremely pleased with their service.

Ernesto worked diligently to rule out or pinpoint reason why our air-conditioning monthly bill had increased over50% although challenging he was determined to solve our situation, he did and we are now looking for a lower bill next month.

Our air conditioner chose to stop cooling on a Saturday evening during excessive heat warning days. I called Independent Air Conditioning on Sunday morning hoping they did service calls on Sundays. Fortunately they did and I had an appointment for a technician between 2 and 6. They have an excellent communication system in place and we received a text and a phone call informing us when the technician was on his way to our residence. He was even early for the appointment which was greatly appreciated since we were quite warm by that time. The issue was diagnosed very quickly and the part replaced before our actual scheduled appointment time. Aurelio was very considerate and knowledgeable. The rate was reasonable and we couldn't be happier. Definitely recommend if you need service.

As always, independent Air service is superb. My ac stopped working on Saturday and I called then for an appointment on Monday. Sure enough on Monday at 8am, I got a call the technician was on his way. The interaction with the office & the technicians is always excellent. Trusting a company servicing your home is a very important decision. We fully trust Independent Air for our air conditioning needs. Thank you.

The quote I received was significantly higher than other quotes, but the diagnosis fee was fair. The technician who came did try everything in his arsenal before jumping to a conclusion, and he was able to show his work.

For reference, we were quoted 2250 for an in warranty compressor replacement on a Bryant unit, which is pretty high considering other quotes came in at least $500 cheaper with no cost for diagnosis. However I'm leaving 5 stars because they were very easy to deal with, and I appreciate the efforts of the technician. There's no reason to knock someone because their prices are higher than someone else's.

I highly recommend Independent Air! They are one of the most reliable and dependable companies that my husband and I have done business with! The office staff is always friendly and professional. Once an appointment is made, I am notified of the technician’s name. The technician has always been punctual, within the allotted time frame. When the service is complete, I receive a text letting me know. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!

This company is the best! When my mother's A/C stopped working, she automatically thought that whomever I reached out to would #1, charge more for a weekend appointment, and #2, try to rip her off. Independent A/C did neither! They were honest, professional and thorough with their work. I can tell by the rep they sent out that Independent Air is a quality company! I highly recommend them for anyone's A/C needs!

Terrible. Had to call them out emergently when getting flooring installed when we found that out AC unit had leaked and ruined subfloor.
Ernesto, the lead tech, assured us it was an old leak, cleaned out coils, blew out condensation line, tried MULTIPLE TIMES to sell us a service agreement (while our whole floor is being ripped up) and $370 later went on his way.
Fast forward 8 weeks later we notice our flooring starting to buckle up a bit.
Call flooring guys back out..rip up brand new flooring only to discover exact same problem. Brand new subfloor destroyed.
Call this company again, ask for owner.
Owner Joe comes out and swears it's not the AC unit and recommends a plumber. Says NAYBE he can get someone to crawl under house to check condensation pipe three days kater. Leaves

Call plumber who crawls under and confirms it is a leaking condensation pipe.
Call Joe back, who argues that it can't be, but he will come check later.
Comes to check later, is shown PICTURES of the leaking pipe that the plumber took, still swears that's not it.
Was extremely rude too but husband.
I'll never use them again. We are new to the area and my nextdoor neighbor recommended them.
After telling her all of this, she confirmed that they screwed up her job and had to fix it again after Joe gave her a hard time.
She has a service agreement with them and I see her unit leaking all over outside.
Run!

I have a maintenance contract with this company. My heat would come on on this cold 35 degree morning. I called them when they opened and was pleasantly surprised that they would have someone out later today. Technician Aurelio arrived mid afternoon and diagnosed the problem. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. I would definitely recommend this company!

My Carrier system is 4 years old and recently I used Independent Air who was referred by another AC company and my handyman, when my system stopped working on a late Friday.
They came and worked on the system
Found the problem, fixed everything and were exceptional. I signed a yearly contract with them.
Knowing I needed ductwork their Representative came, went over everything and have finished the work. I now have everything done with a company I can trust. The work performed was thorough and they cleaned everything out and cleaned up after all their work.
I’m so glad I found an honest, hardworking Company. They’re family owned.

We had an excellent experience from start to finish. Joe was great with the quote and answered all of our follow up questions thoroughly. They were quick to give a quote and to schedule the install. Denni and Ernesto did an amazing install job and walked us through everything. Very happy with everything and would highly recommend.

We started using Independent Air a couple years ago. They fixed a very old ac that was on its lasts leg. We were grateful that our ac lasted about 2 more years.
It gave us some time to budget for a new system.

I had a brand new Lennox a/c installed in 2021 and after only. Two years the compressor blew. I had two more installed that blew right after installation.. I had it put in by someone using another person's license. So to make a long sad story short even though I have one more year of warranty on the compressor I already spent labor costs for a non working A/C because the compressors kept blowing. I called a A/C company ( I won't mention the name ). But a tech came out and this company didn't charge a fee for service but the tech was only interested in talking me into a brand new unit and I kept telling him NO BUT HE KEPT PRESSURING ME IT WAS TERRIBLE. I finally got rid of him and called Air Masters A very kind professional man named Chad for the company took his time diagnosed the problem and it was the wrong size return on my unit that was causing the compressor to blow after so long. He was very honest and understanding of my financial situation and felt bad for me. But he didn't pressure me at all to put in more dollars to get a new one or put more money into the one I have which I got ripped off on. So if you want honesty and good professional honest technicians go with Air Masters THANK YOU CHAD

Anthony and Alex Alhomsi came out late in the day and did an outstanding job looking over my entire upstairs AC system. Within a few minutes they had the root cause identified (blown capacitor) and the system was blowing cold air again. The attention to detail and staying late to test and double check everything was much appreciated. They are both very passionate about their work and go above and beyond to make sure they provide stellar customer service. Best AC service experience I've ever had and that's why I continue to use Air Masters of Tampa Bay as my preferred AC company, for new installs and servicing.

Gary was absolutely amazing. The original company that I used to use messed up a lot on my air handler In the attic. Gary came knew exactly what was wrong, explained it all to me andy dad so that we understood everything, and was so efficient. Now my dad doesn't have to worry about anything for a while with the air.
