Update: Seth (or maybe Jason according to my 3 year old) came out and cleaned all of our ducts. He was awesome! Did such a great job and genuinely such a good vibe. He answered all of my 3 year olds questions and explained everything to us as he went. Air masters really has some great people working for them.

Alex and Andrew did an amazing job at installing our new 3 ton Trane AC. Timely, professional, kind, knowledgeable, all the good things! Nikki, the finance manager helped us get financing for our purchase and was super helpful. This company is truly trust worthy. I won’t go elsewhere for my AC needs. Thanks a bunch!!

After my Trane unit was installed 3 years later my heating system stopped working. Being the person who installed my unit unexpectedly passed away I needed to find someone to service my unit. I called Air Masters of Tampa. The tech that arrived was Anthony. He was professional and was attentive to my concerns. He diagnosed my system and repaired my unit. He suggested I get a service contract to keep my unit maintained well. It took me about six months to call to get a service contract with Air Masters. I have no regret’s I had CJ 6 months ago who impressed me in his care for my system now Anthony came out to service my system. He impressed me with his concern maintaining my system. I didn’t hesitate to renew my service with Air Masters based on my experience with Anthony. Thank you Anthony for your professional and care for my system.

My experience with Chris was great, he was incredibly thorough and walked me through the best ways to extend the life of my AC which I very much appreciated. He truly seemed to be looking out for me which is hard to come by these days. From what I can tell he did a top notch job with the maintenance and he didn't seem rushed or bothered by my questions. Would definitely recommend him!

Chad came out today for emergency call on my unit. He was very professional and courteous, explained the to me what was going on with my unit and completed repairs in no time at all.

I have had a good experience with Air Masters and recommend using this company for A/C repairs or replacement.

We have use Air Masters for over 12 plus years. And have always been pleased with their service. If we have any issues they take care of it.
We have had many technition over the years and they have all been good.
We now use Anthony(only if possible) he is very Pleasant, Loyal, Knowledgeable and Respectful.
If we have any questions he takes rhe time to explain it to us. He has our A.C. running like it's brand new.

Called to have a regular A/c tune up, Antonio called 4/18/25 to come out. After arriving and looking at unit outside he said my TXV valve was bad, he said I'm not under warranty, I new I was still under warranty due to its a new unit. Told him I was going to call the other company first. 4/21/25 The company that put the A/C in said that the shut off for the a/c disconnect What shut off. And I know it wasn't by us. Mysteriously , our a c is now working by a switch being turned back on. Not sure if I would recommend this company I don't like to accuse people without knowing for a fact, but it's a little weird How something could have been shut off and stop working when it was running fine before they arrived.

Very diligent company with nice professionals, they did everything correctly. I just changed my AC unit and had a good deal for paying interest-free for 60 months. They are also very responsive and call up front the whole process.

UPDATE: After posting this review. Phillip from Air Maters contacted me to "help." He stated that he'd secured approximately $300 from the warranty that I bought when I initially purchased the system. That was in August and I still have not received those funds. Worst, I asked about the $250 for the incompetence with the leak detection and he mentioned that they might be able to work something out if I was willing to remove this review. I told him that my integrity is worth more than $250 and if I had read a review like mine, I would have never hired Air Masters in the first place. I have not heard from them since.

ORIGINAL REIVEW: I wish I could vote lower than a 1. I purchased my HVAC system, along with an extra equipment and labor warranty about 8 years ago. The system was a disaster from day 1, which has results in thousands to Air Masters (and others) out of my pocket for repairs, including a coil replacement in January that cost me $2,500, despite the Air Masters extended warranty.

The last straw was that I recently called them out to confirm a coolant leak. They charged me $250 for the visit, but said they couldn't confirm the leak, which another company later confirmed via video. Worst, the tech accidentally kicked the overflow protection on his way out, which resulted in the system shutting off. It took about 2 hours for them come back and remedy the issue. They didn't refund our $250.

Even with the extended warranties I'd never have them back. We're finally replacing the system altogether.

Had chris out today, super knowledgeable answered all my questions. Professional and explained the UV system that I need for my family and fur babies.

I have used numerous air conditioning companies over the 31 years in my house I am so grateful that I wound up with their masters of Tampa Bay the installers the duct cleaning technicians like Seth the girls on the phone everybody outstanding people doing awesome job do awesome clean up their caring people showing their genuine concern for people's lives couldn't rate a company any higher if you need A/C people call on airmasters of

Seth and Malcolm are An asset to Air Masters, they are gentlemen, through, knowledgeable, and very caring . I have a heart condition and cannot tolerate the heat. They provided a cooling unit to keep me comfortable. I will highly recommend Air Masters of Tampa Bay to everyone.

Left my mom in tears after 'potential' of her warranty being voided. Somehow charged $120 for a diagnostic AND $300 to replace a cap? Come on, I get companies want to make money, but geez, for a 3 minute part swap? Guy was probably onsite for 20 mins total, but definitely an excessive rate for something being under warranty. Not thrilled

Signed up for $464 yearly Maintenance Service contract, however, I had to call to make an appointment to get an A/C check up. Before I’d receive a reminder call or card to do so, boy do I miss Marilyn. Was pleased with my technician, he arrived exactly 8 AM on the dot. He showed me a section of my air handler that looks like it had dust or mold on it. Of course, I agreed to have him clean it. He sprayed something on it and pressure washed it, and you can see the photos how it came out. Happy with that, however, $426 for two hours work, not so happy with that.

The reason for five stars is because of James, the tech who performed the scheduled maintenance on our HVAC system. James was very professional and explained everything he did. He took the time to make sure we understood the service he performed and any recommendations he had.

I have had 3 different service providers from Air Masters - all have been knowledgable, helpful and professional. Had them assess my old system and found we had a leak, causing the system to work almost around the clock. After reviewing repair options, decided to go with a full replacement and the peace of mind that comes with a strong warranty. Install was scheduled quickly and completed in one day. Follow up has been great - very happy with my choice to use Air Masters and looking forward to building a relationship over time with annual maintenance. Highly recommend!

Air Masters has outstanding customer service. They notify us regarding scheduled maintenance, proactively call if there might be a slight delay due to another emergency, and always call when their service tech is on his way. The service call is always through, professional and complete. We are extremely pleased with this company.

Chris was beyond knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Walked me through each step of the repair and maintenance process explaining everything in great detail. Would never use a different company to fix and maintain my AC unit.

We had the BEST installers EVER with our new heat pump. VERY PROFESSIONAL and KNOWLEDGEABLE with their Installation. Took time to educate us with simple to understand instructions.
