To-Mar shopping is always a pleasant experience......healthy plants at great prices! I needed a lot of help and Greg was sooooo helpful in picking out plants for shady and sunny areas. I showed him pics of the yard, followed his advice and the plants are thriving. Thanks, Greg.....couldn't have done it without you! 🤗 Shout out to Angie who is always friendly and helpful 👍

I love to shop at To-Mar's. They have the largest selection of the healthiest flowers, plants, trees, etc. In the area. My favorite place is what I call the plant house. You can hear the water in ponds. It's so calming and peaceful in there. They also carry fountains, statues, and a lot of beautiful garden pieces that you can't find anywhere else. If you love all things flowers it's worth a trip to To-Mar's.

I visited to find treatment for gnats on my indoor plants. The recommended product seems to be working. I'm very happy I decided to visit this nursery that offers expertise with a smile.

Great place to go for help with landscaping ideas and they have a wide variety of plans to choose from.

The prices are average. They have an outstanding selection of plants and many other lawn items to browse.
The staff knows everything there is to know about plants, and since I am the grim reaper for plants, I need them to be able to tell me exactly what to do!!
I was also very pleased with their willingness to remove the stake out dog tether from their shelves since they aren't a legal way to contain a dog in Columbus Georgia. They 100% love dogs and support the #Chainfreedogs movement!! I will always go here for my plant and lawn needs.

There is always someone nearby to offer assistance. They have a great selection. This is my go to garden center.

I did ask to have my purchases potted. Later I had to go to Lowe's for larger pots. The roots were exposed when I watered them. I am sure they would have rectified the situation had I gone back but Lowe's was closer. I have been shopping here each spring since 2006. This is my first complaint. They were probably exhausted from the Mothers Day rush. Still my go to garden center.

I was really happy when I found this garden center. They carry a large variety of bedding plants. I come here every fall to buy violas because they have one of the largest selections in the area. They have interesting shrubs, too, as well as perennials and houseplants. A good selection of chemicals and fertilizers can be found inside.

Excellent staff. All of the staff seemed to be very knowledgable about the plants. All I had to do was explain what I was wanting and they were able to show me various options that match what I was wanting. It was great to walk around and have different staff members approach me and make sure I was finding everything okay. They have a huge selection and great price points as well. Will definitely return and recommend to others!

Went there to look at their fruiting plants. They had a good variety of very well taken care of and healthy plants at what I think were reasonable prices. Their muscadine vines looked way better than the twigs I preciously ordered from another regional grower and at comparable prices. I definitely went to the wrong place first.
Their employees were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about their products and plants.
The only thing they need is a slightly larger parking lot.

Great garden place. They offer high quality manure. The owners are very nice and knowledgeable. The woman gladly helped me with a couple questions and concerns I had about my plants and was able to steer me in the direction of what I needed but didn't try to push you into buying products. They have lawn and gardening equipment, lots of plants to choose from, tons of products to care for a variety of plants as well. Highly recommend.

The ladies are so helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable. We went to get plants for a butterfly garden. I had a list. Although the didn't have all the plants that were on my list, they made great suggestions on other pollinators that will attract the butterflies. Reasonably priced and beautiful plants. Highly recommended To-Mar!

I really like this store. They have plants I haven’t seen anywhere else around here. A large selection. The staff is friendly also. My only suggestion is that they change their Saturday hours on Google to show that they close at 4:45pm. I was there at 4:35 and the cashier told me he was closing the cash register in 10 minutes.

Edit: I went there again today at 5:15pm on a weekday and they said that they close at 5:30pm, not 6:00pm as Google says. It’s probably safest not to go here any time near the opening or closing time just in case.

To-Mar is definitely my go to place for both indoor and outdoor plants. I love the houseplant starter table! You can find great little starters for $6.99 and I've bought so many from there. The staff is always helpful and they'll load your vehicle up for you. They'll even give you plastic to protect your vehicle. Great place and great employees.

In this day and age, of huge super stores,
I find that personal touch and care, is highly lacking. While I love researching about appropriate plants for this area of Georgia, my knowledge base, is also lacking.

Mark, the owner of To-Mar Garden Center, is passionate about his business and puts excellent customer care, first.

As a veterinarian, I love to research about topics in my career, so I was delighted to see how excited Mark got, when talking about appropriate plants. He is goes to plant shows, to increase his knowledge base and is up to date on the new plants, scientists have created.

Mark just goes the extra mile for his customers. I feel so much respect for him, that I just told him to pick out the right plants, this spring, for my rock and butterfly/hummingbird garden. It’s unusual for me, to not try to control everything. But this man is an expert on plant types and care.
I trust him to make my butterfly garden, a thriving piece of meditation and enjoyment.

I am so excited, for spring to come, to finish this little area of peace and tranquility.
Right now, Mark has put the river rock down, which is step one.

Please consider Mar and TO-MAR garden center for all your plants and yard landscaping design. In this day and age of inflation and uncertain times, I feel that it is really important to support your community privately owned businesses. So many of them folded after COVID.
