We needed to have 3 HVAC systems replaced at once (lucky us). They gave spent lots of time explaining our options and answering our questions. We got a very fair price and the day of installation was amazing to watch. In at 7 am , done by 4 pm and as neat as a pin. A big thank you to everyone involved in the process.

He was the best and I haven’t always felt that way about your Service, but I was very pleased with this young man’s performance today he was awesome.

I always go to Casteel if I have an issue they are dependable and reliable. Today I had a routine maintenance check-up on my HVAC system done by Ramon Nelson from Casteel HVAC Service Department. Love that he got here (Union City, GA) early on Sunday in the window time frame that I had, Love that he had shoe booties. Aside from that he was very professional and knowledgable. I am pretty sure my heat was working a little bit better after he left.

Thursday evening I got home to discover our furnace was not working. We were two days away from an incoming ice storm and were, needless to say, extremely concerned. I called 3 companies and got no answer, a voicemail system, and an AI assistant that kept hanging up on me. Then I called Casteel. I was connected with a lovely, helpful person straight away. First thing the next day a tech came out. As it turned out we needed a new furnace. That afternoon a design consultant came out and by 7 am the next morning a team was out installing the new unit. We had functioning heat that afternoon, before the ice storm hit. Every single person we interacted with at Casteel was responsive, polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. We appreciated their expertise, attention to customer service, and responsiveness. We would highly recommend Casteel to anybody.

We wanted to take a moment to share our experience with the Casteel team. From the initial maintenance visit to the assessment of our system to discussing new system options and the final installation, we were thoroughly impressed with the level of professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail the team displayed throughout the entire process.

We have used Casteel in the past, and started out with a general maintenance check and assessment of our system. The technicians were very helpful in explaining the status of our 15-year-old system. We knew we needed to replace it and appreciated them taking the time to share the options available to us.

Everyone involved was not only friendly and efficient but also took the time to clearly explain each step of the process. We especially appreciate the advanced notice of the team’s arrival, including team member pictures and estimated time of arrival. We have an older dog and we need to get her settled before accepting visitors to the house.

The installation went very smoothly, and the team was willing to stay longer than expected to complete the project in one day, per our request. The team arrived around 7 AM and stayed until after 10 PM without missing a beat! They explained what they were doing and were very efficient. They spent time testing the system and ensuring the apps were properly loaded onto our phones. They also cleaned up afterwards.

It was clear that the team takes pride in their work and cares about providing excellent service. Specifically, we would like to recognize the following team members who were a part of our entire experience: Adam Piper, Samuel Dodd, Corey Worley; and the installation team of Brayan Garcia, Paul Riebow, Hakeem, and Robert. Casteel and their techs were wonderful and courteous from start to finish. Cory arrived Monday to inspect everything and get us a quote. He went above and beyond working diligently to help us get to our price range. The following day Spencer, Damian, and a third tech arrived bright and early to install. They were well prepared and were careful to lay things down to protect our hardwood floors. The techs workmanship looks outstanding and they made minimum noise when adding a return in our master bedroom. The techs took the time to show me how the new thermostat works. We would certainly recommend this company to family and friends. Thanks Casteel for helping with getting our home cool again!

The service technician from Casteel Plumbing, Tommy, did an excellent job finding a plumbing leak that was not obvious. Once he verified it the repair was completed quickly. Plus he offered several suggestions to prevent water damage from being an issue now and in the future. Great service!!

We had an outstanding experience with Casteel in Atlanta, GA, thanks to our plumbing technician, Donald. He was extremely prompt and professional from the moment he arrived. Donald quickly diagnosed the source of our water leak and gave us a clear, detailed explanation of what needed to be done.
He also noticed a couple of additional issues that could have caused major problems down the line, including a failed expansion tank that had originally been installed incorrectly and wasn’t compliant with local code. Donald handled all the repairs efficiently and professionally, and the finished work looks excellent. He even left the area cleaner than he found it.
We feel relieved knowing our home is now safer and no longer at risk of serious water damage from a potential tank failure. We wouldn’t hesitate to call Casteel again—and we’ll definitely be requesting Donald for any future service needs.

I had a tankless hot water heater installed at my home last week. This was the second time I’ve had Casteel come to do an install (previously installed an HVAC system) and now for the second time, there was a major issue within the fist couple days post install. Last time, the HVAC went out 2-3 days later and I had to wait almost a week for it to be repaired. This time, the day after I got home from work, I smelled gas so I immediately opened all the windows and doors and called to report it. They sent out the same technician who did in fact realize that they’d made a mistake and I did have a gas leak in my home.

This is aside from the fact that one technician came to quote the job and schedule the install but despite this, Casteel only dispatched 1 person for a 2 person job and they had to come back at a later date and once they did come back with a helper, he had to leave to leave 2-3 times to get additional parts which just seems like poor planning despite it being the 2nd time they came to my home for the installation.

They are nice and professional and are willing to price match their competitors and offer better service/warranties than other companies. But I can’t help but wonder if they offer said service/warranties because they know they’re gonna have to come back after the job has been completed. An HVAC going out is one thing but an improper installation of a water heater resulting in a gas leak is major and potentially life threatening situation. I’m just glad I smelled the gas and knew what it was.

Edit: They have called and rectified the situation in a satisfactory manner.

Tech was very helpful and making sure I overstood the complete process for warranty on my water heater. The tech also verified that this was an unusual issue that needs to be flushed and or replaced. I advised that I needed this water heater replaced due the amounts of rust coming out of the drain tank and thru out the house...

We are beyond happy with the service we received from Casteel today. Our old water heater was on its last leg and needed to be replaced ASAP. Another company came out, charged an estimate fee, and scheduled an appointment, which they later cancelled and delayed. We called Casteel and they sent someone out the same day.

Jamie, the technician, was super friendly and knowledgeable. He replaced the water heater the same day for a cheaper price than we were quoted by the other company. He explained everything clearly and did excellent work. We couldn't have imagined a better technician and we highly recommend him. It's great to have peace of mind knowing our water heater isn't going to burst and flood our house tonight.

I had an excellent experience with John from Casteel who serviced my home on January 24, 2026. From the moment he arrived, his energy was professional, calm, and reassuring. He is a great listener and took the time to fully understand my concerns before explaining everything clearly and thoroughly.

John was extremely knowledgeable and transparent, walking me through what was happening, what needed immediate attention, and what could be addressed later—without any pressure. The pricing he offered felt absolutely fair for the scope and quality of work provided.

He completely fixed what had been a major issue: a large hole in the vent connected to the hot water heating system, which was also heavily rusted. His work was thorough and done with real care. I also appreciated his communication style—he speaks clearly, maintains eye contact, and makes sure you truly understand what’s being done and why.

Overall, John delivered outstanding service, and I would confidently recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled, honest, and professional technician.

Casteel did a great job replacing our two air conditioning systems. Adam helped us pick the systems with the capabilities we wanted. He made it very clear what we were buying and what we were not buying. All Casteel employees on site for the installation were courteous and helpful. The quality of the work is outstanding! Hats off to Junior, Nick, Mohammad, and the others on the crew that day!!

Recently had casteel come out to fix an AC issue not cooling. They are Way Overpriced and I feel like not very honest. The first thing the tech told me was that first off you need a thermostat and its not covered under warranty. Reason stated it was not sending low voltage to outside unit. The price quoted for just the thermostat was 512, for a $150 part. Which means to install the faceplate, 2-3 wires to connect, it was going to cost $372 labor. Took him about 10 minutes to install so you can do the math on the labor rate. He tried to convince me the cost was high for a 3 yr warranty that they provide. BUT the part comes with a 5 year manufacturer warranty as long as professionally installed. Quality of work was good but way overpriced. Btw in the write up on my receipt, only the faulty transformer was listed as the issue, nothing about the thermostat. Hmmmm. I believe the transformer would be the part that would direct current to the outside unit. So not sure the thermostat was an issue at all

Update: invoice 1003677 Feb 20. Read back over description, does say faulty thermostat but was tested with faulty transformer. Thermostat was not retested after transformer was replaced

great experience with Ralph Rau! He was professional, friendly, honest, and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the plumbing problems and gave me options within my budget to complete the job. I won’t be looking any further for a great plumber!

I have also recently used Cool Air Mechanical to diagnose an issue with my other HVAC units. Shawn was the technician and was incredibly thorough. He tested everything to determine the root cause was my thermostat, and helped me avoid unnecessary repairs that saved me money. He was super knowledgeable, honest, a good communicator, and resolved my issue.
