I started having my lawn serviced (cut and trim) last year and chose new life because I didn't have time to research other options. Boy did I make a mistake. I figured that since my neighbor used them and they were expensive, they would do a good job.

In any event their business seemed very disorganized as they didn't send me an invoice for months at a time. Once I did get an invoice it was for hundreds of dollars.

I live abroad so only get to check my home in the US occasionally. During the winter the Bermuda doesn't require much maintenance so I didn't notice anything amiss. When I visited my home in the spring and summer it looked like the lawn hadn't been touched in a few weeks despite contracting them to come out every other week.

When I complained about this, Andres Rodriguez simply cancelled my contract.. AWFUL lawn service and TERRIBLE customer service... would NOT recommend.

I have had average to poor experiences with other landscape companies. This one truly blew me away with quality of plant materials, attention to detail, concern with rocks and other debris that other contractors left behind. This was a job to further enhance the original somewhat flawed install 4 years ago by another company. New Life provided a five star extraordinary experience and now I am using their maintenance crew!

Their team was incredibly meticulous and professional from start to finish. They didn’t just “tidy up” the yard—they truly transformed it. Trees, shrubs, and bushes were expertly trimmed and shaped with clear attention to proper horticultural techniques, not just quick cuts. Every area of overgrowth was addressed, the entire yard was thoroughly weeded, and the finishing touch of fresh pine straw brought everything together beautifully.

Expensive but thorough and professional. I've long searched for someone who will take care of all the different aspects of lawn and landscape and with Grounds Guys I'm well pleased.

I had a really poor experience with these guys. They blew past my $5k budget. By the time I was able to actually get an invoice they insisted on $200 more for late fees. Then when I final got thru to their portal they wanted $269 more to pay by credit can. I take some responsibility for being in a hurry to get the work done. I was not happy with the work or really any part of the experience. Keep looking.

Loved Mark and his crew. They designed and executed a beautiful hardscape and landscape plan for our 1938 Tudor in Morningside. The neighbors are all commenting on how much it has transformed our home!
