I also appreciate the technical explanation of how 2 electrical components work, what they do and why they needed to be replaced. All set for cooling season now.

Damian came out to my home for a yearly service visit. He was thorough and explained every item that needed replacement and why, as covered under warranty. He was diligent and cleaned up all of the equipment and even the small blown in insulation that falls out of the attic door everytime you open it. I highly recommend. Over the years several technicians have come out and they are super thorough

Jason was our technician. He was friendly and polite. He came in assessed the problem and completed the work quickly, neatly and efficiently. We will definitely use them again.

We live on an old house with a series of D.I.Y. fixes dating back to the 1970's. All the spaces are tight, and nothing is located where you think. I needed 2 new HVAC units and figured it might be a split day job.

Winston, Brian, Bernie, and Moses showed up promptly at 8:30 and got to work. I watched these dudes hustle hard for 8 straight hours. It was not an easy job. It required a good bit of problem solving to get everything where it needed to be considering the space limitations but these guys were true professionals!

I didn't think I'd be sitting in a warm house by 4:30 today, but here I am, warm and cozy. Hopefully a nice holiday bonus is coming their way.

Again, shout out to Winston, Brian, Bernie and Moses for getting this done right and in record time. I'd give Cool Air a 6th star if possible considering the impending polar vortex.

I had a fantastic experience purchasing a new furnace from Stan at Cool Air Mechanical. He was professional, knowledgeable, and made the whole process easy. Installation was quick and clean, and the new system works perfectly. Highly recommend Stan and the team for anyone needing HVAC replacement!

I'm re-writing my review, because I forgot to include all the incredible people who worked on our project. Sean, at Costco, talked to me about our project and all the issues we were having with our HVAC. He took a lot of time to listen and reassure that Cool Air could handle the project. He got us on the schedule for a consultation with Kennie (comfort advisor). Kennie was fantastic. He assessed the whole house, all the issues we had with our current system, ways we could improve it and what the options were. We felt confident to move forward with the project. It was a full install plus repair/moving existing duct work. They addressed all the air flow issues, issues with the unit, issues with the thermostats, issues with inconsistent temps in different rooms. Elio and his teams worked for hours, they were super respectful and professional. I work 100% from home, and they moved about without feeling intrusive or overly loud. They cleaned up after any messes and didn't cause excessive messes. They checked to verify that things were done the way we were hoping/expecting from what we spoke with Kennie about. It was an extremely painless process. The system works AMAZING! We're all getting better sleep and the unit isn't waking up my daughters when it turns on. I can't believe the difference on the first night. Kennie called the next day to see how the first night went. He's going to call after Thanksgiving too, because I had told him our old unit would freeze lines when too many people were coming in and out of the house when hosting for gatherings. I have no doubt he'll call and check in. Can't wait to see our electric bill go down too! What a great team and experience!

Jeremiah did a wonderful job servicing my Furnace. He was very helpful in explaining what needed to be done to fix my furnace.
He installed my blower fan and I had heat within 30 minutes of the installation.

Contacted them to diagnose an intermittent heating odor. The visit did not result in a clear root cause, and the recommendation was to replace the evaporator coil at a significant cost.

I later learned that the issue may be related to heat pump defrost behavior rather than a defective coil. I felt a more targeted diagnostic approach would have been helpful before recommending major component replacement.

I would suggest getting a second opinion before committing to large repairs.

Could not be more pleased. Price for my new furnace was very good. Quick turnaround too. I purchased on Thursday and installation on Friday. Technicians were very nice and did a great job. Highly recommend.

Basement flooded. Sump pump failed. Thousands in mitigation. Liability nightmare.

Cool Air installed our sump pump and we ended up with a flooded basement and emergency remediation. The pump repeatedly stopped working, and a third party plumber later found rocks/gravel in the sump pit being sucked into the pump and jamming it.

When we tried to address the damages properly, Ken Johnson (manager) refused to provide:
- the recording they said they had of our call where their technician, David, admitted fault, and
- their general liability insurance information

If you hire Cool Air for sump pump work, get everything in writing and confirm the pump is protected from debris. I wouldn’t use them again.

The plumber was amazing - we felt confident in his skill and it was such a blessing for us as senior citizens. We actually contracted more than we originally intended and took the opportunity to renew and upgrade some things that weren't broken because we liked him so much, and prices were reasonable when we had multiple things taken care of at the same time. We are extremely happy with the work and the professionalism. Thank you, Mr. David and Cool- Air. We are very happy to now have a company to call for plumbing, AC, and electricity problems in the city.

So ya’ll know that I had placed a review on Cool Air Mechanical and plumbing services. Well it has been a while that I placed another review on them. I tell you honestly they have never disappointed me. They come every year to check on my furnace and air conditioner system. Giving a shout-out to some technicians
1- Kyle Miller: He came by to do a check on the AC unit and Furnace-- all was well. I showed him some problem areas he called their dispatch and set up 2 appointments one was to do some duct cleaning and solve some plumbing issues.
2. Han Kim: He introduced himself and all I thought of the name Han Solo. He was alone... Explained to me what he was going to do and showed the dust collected in my ducts and even warned me about the disinfectant wash smell. So all the ducts that “receive” pollutants got a good cleaning. I learned something today. Thanks Han-- The disinfectant did not smell like lemongrass but rather just like detergent soap.
3. Shawn Bush and Calvin Cannon: They were plumbers. Thank you, and Thank you for coming out early amd working till 1300 hrs. They explained to me that My water heater was a mess. Calvin did a swell job in buying a new water heater and setting up the pipeline or pipes.. Also had a filter placed.. Anyways the whole thing was definitely time consuming but worth it.. So thank you!! Meanwhile Shawn worked on the gas pipe that feeds to fireplace, replaced a rusty pipe and painted it, and replaced some other water pipes that were rusty and potentially disasters waiting to happen. So again thank you for foreseeing and being patient with me in understanding how my home functions!! I truly recommend this company.. Thank you for all you do❣️❣️

I have been using Cool Air for almost a decade, I keep a maintenance plan open with them and they service my machine 2ce a year as well as resolve any issues that pop up. I have been impressed by every technician I have seen from this company. Jerry Cobb was our first point of contact and he really sold us on the company and gav us loads of great information. Most recently Aryan from HVAC and Daniel from electric have helped us out to ensure our family is safe and warm as our heater wiring went kaput during this insane cold spell. They were out here promptly and checked everything to ensure we didn't have to spend more than was necessary to fix the problem and remain safe

Damien and Thuy arrived as scheduled and spent several hours repairing my mini split. The ice was still present upon their arrival, once it was clear from the mini split, they did the repairs plus adding Freon. I was pleased with the outcome to have the unit functioning properly as they departed. I would recommend these technician and appreciate them paying attention to details. ( covering their shoes as they entered my home & clean up of the work area after they finished)

We’ve had a prolonged, tricky issue with our HVAC, for which we received a pricey quote from our prior service company. We decided it would be sensible to get a second opinion, and went with Costco’s endorsed brand - Cool Air. Their technicians - DJ and Damian - were dogged and thorough with their problem solving and approach, and a week later, the problem (and several root causes) have been fixed. What they identified turned out to be quite different from what the prior service provider was going to charge us a hefty price tag for… so we are very pleased with everything! Can’t go wrong with these folks!

We had a great experience with our sales rep Alex. He was very knowledgeable and gave advice and suggestions that were actually realistic and helpful. The guys that came out to install our AC unit were very professional and friendly. Very respectful to our home, left no dirt behind and no scratches on wood floor while moving around the heavy equipment. Would definitely recommend this company!
