I called his team 3 times and our gas furance still had issues. The same part failed twice. His techinicans lack knowledge and did not try to warranty the failed part that only lasted 6 weeks. The owner told me "shit happens".

Today I have a issue Again! This will be the 4th time in the last 3 months. I will not be giving him a call. Highly not recommended! Waste of money and time!

We used these folks a couple times in the past without flaw. Because of this I wanted to use them again so I called and asked for a quote on a new water pump and heater, they said no problem and came out a few days later to give me an estimate. Weeks later I get a bill in the mail saying I owe them over 150$ for giving me a quote on a potential product and gave me the estimate. Absolutely never disclosed that giving me an estimate wouldve cost so much money, every contractor ive contacted in my entire life has been free estimates or at the very least would disclose if quoting me would cost money. Won't be paying, won't be back. Attached is photo proof.

Very nice people but 3-4 years with the same issue and hundreds of dollars and still not fixed. Great to come out when no heat at all but not very responsive. Maybe they just can't get enough help!!!

Serviced my furnace for the first time. Nicest guys, very thourough, and friendly. Showed me everything they worked on and changes to consider making for our setup. Excellent service!

Thank you to Tim for coming to our rescue. After waiting 3 months for a different plumber we finally called and Tim came looked at what he needed for tools and parts. The next night he was here and fixed it! Thanks again Tim!

After our wall unit was tagged by VT Gas in mid August 2019, we consulted with a good friend and purchased a new Weil McLain boiler from Plouffe’s. The install was smooth, and any issues were solved immediately. Installer Tim, Office Boss Shannon, and Owner Gerry were terrific, answered all questions, and did there very best to ensure a great experience. My wife and I both agree on a five star/ 4 thumbs up rating for Plouffe’s Plumbing!

Called the man and he was there within 20 minutes. Great service !

I have used Plouffe's Boiler & Mechanical several times. They are responsive, friendly, clearly communicate the work needed and the resolution, and work is completed on time as agreed. I highly recommend them.

Spoke to the owner about replacing a furnace. He was on vacation and asked me to leave a VM on his business phone. I did as he asked but he never followed up.

Gary called and came in two days. He replaced our toilet in record time. Very neat and friendly.
I would recommend him highly. He is the owner of the company with many years of experience.

Owner Gary was quick to return my call and came out to diagnose the issue with my boiler. The off boiler hot water heater coil had failed and was allowing water into the closed loop system. He provided a reasonable quote and was able to complete the replacement five days later. Prompt, courteous, and professional - very happy with the result!

Lucky was a previous landlord of mine who caused me so much stress and financial loss. Don't rent from him.

Its now 4 days from my initial call. Every day and every time I got the same Answer "he will get back to you via email or will call" Initially I was told minimum 24- 48 hours Never got a phone call or much less and Email. Don't waste your time!

I had used Luckys before so when there was a toilet that wouldn’t flush, I tried them again. I left messages for 3 days asking that they just let me know when they could get to it. No response. (However, the ANSWERING SERVICE was very professional and pleasant…🤨)

Must be they don't need furnace/boiler business, because they are hard to get a hold of. And when you do reach them they may try to talk you into fixing your oil boiler/expansion tank yourself. 🤦‍♂️ Then, if you do set up an appointment weeks in advance, they won't show. 2 days in a row now. Look elsewhere.

Called them last fall to have them come and replace my kitchen sink supply lines: Never called back. Called them this spring to try and get that same job done: Emailed me sporadically, stopped by to look at the job, and then wouldn't give me an estimate or date/time to complete the job. Don't bother if you actually need something done.

When the water doesn't drain out of your shower because they couldn't get a decent angle and now my water is leaking through the 2nd floor to the first because they couldn't properly seal it either, yeah not recommended

It is incredibly difficult to get Lucky's to perform maintenance and repair work on our heating system, a system they installed. We have had a dysfunctional valve for almost 6 months and our calls/emails have gone largely ignored as we desperately try to get it serviced before turning on heat for the winter. They still have not put us on a schedule to come out and get it repaired. I will be seeking out a more responsive and supportive business.

Another business in Montpelier died this week because Lucky pulled the rug out from under them. RIP, Langdon Street Tavern.
