Benoure was terrific. I had a leaky toilet. Grace was able to find a worker (Bailey) who was in the area on another job and my toilet was fixed quickly. I can’t thank them enough for their quick and fairly priced job.

Our old boiler was red tagged in August. Jarret responded quickly to our need for a proposal. They were able to schedule us quickly. Kenyon and Jared did the installation and could not have been more of a pleasure to work with. Crystal in the office made sure we got the best pricing they could offer. Clearly being an employee owned business means a lot. They were all professional, personable and customer oriented. Thank you! Bring on the winter. We are ready.

Tim was incredible- we called Benoure to come take a look at our system in our newly acquired house and we couldn’t have asked for a better person for the job. He was kind, patient, and thoughtful throughout the visit- first diagnosing the issues and then making time in his schedule to fix a bunch of things right off the bat. Tim
also took the time to teach us along the way by showing where different things were, what to keep an eye on, and what he’d tackle first vs things that could wait. Truly, could not have asked for a better experience or a better person for the job!

After a horrible experience with Call The Whale during a routine heating system inspection, I reached out to Benoure for a second opinion—and I’m incredibly glad I did.

Jon S. took the time to thoroughly inspect and disassemble my system, clearly explain what they were seeing, and walk me through everything in a calm, professional way. What stood out most was their honesty and attention to detail. They identified that what The Whale had presented to me as a serious issue was actually not a safety concern or issue at all.

Jon was focused on getting it right and making sure I fully understood the situation. That level of transparency and integrity is exactly what you hope for when dealing with something as important as your home’s heating system.

I also had a great experience communicating with Jeff, the service manager. I can’t speak highly enough of the service and the support. Benoure restored my confidence and gave me real peace of mind. We had some unfortunate things crop up with the house we purchased, and while it was a stressful situation, everyone at Bourne's was fabulous. Their work was meticulous, and they spent hours with us seeking a solution to an unusual problem. Eric and Alex, along with all of the technicians who have been in our house were fabulous and so kind. And Michael and Andrew were patient and worked hard to find a resolution for us. Very grateful.

I would like to thank Lucas Jones, Bourne’s Energy, for saving the day at Outbound Stowe. We had a boiler go down today and lost hot water in nearly 1/2 of our hotel rooms. Lucas arrived in around an hour, diagnosed the problem quickly and got us up and running. Lucas was cordial, efficient and clearly knew what he was doing. Thank you Bourne’s for your quick response and thank you Lucas!

We typically pay cash in advance and are in the process of buying a new house! Called to see if they could do a delivery and auto pay for it next week when I get paid because I cannot have them pull my credit report while in the process of buying a house. They refused to do this even though we always pay for our fuel! They have my card on file and can easily just pull the amount the following week. I understand you need to run my credit to verify you can trust we will pay our bill but after 5 years of using this company and the one time we ask for a small favor they are unwilling to make and exception.

Bourne’s customer service is outstanding!! I dealt with Paula a few weeks ago about an issue and had the pleasure to talk to her again the other day. She is very professional, knowledgeable and calm. She is proactive in finding solutions to any issues. Highly recommend this company

This has been an incredibly tough winter and heating oil has been getting sucked up at a ridiculous pace in my home. Recently, I have needed two deliveries in a real urgent manner while desperately trying to stretch what I had to avoid emergency delivery charges and kerosene supplements. The team at Bourne's in Morrisville, VT is absolutely of the highest caliber! Ashley and Paula, your efforts, patience, kindness, and follow through are so appreciated. To your drivers, I can't even, to say they got here in the nick of time is an understatement. To Michele, the manager of this team, your group is simply the best!!! I cannot imagine how I would have managed these bitter, frigid temps without the outstanding, above and beyond, commitment to excellence, customer service of Bourne's Energy in Morrisville, VT!!! I had an amazing experience with the Nikki at the fuel company. She was professional, patient, and incredibly helpful from start to finish. She took the time to answer all of my questions clearly, resolved my issue quickly, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free through a stressful situation. Just a quick note to say thank you for your assistance with our boiler replacement project. I also would like to extend my appreciation for the great work Tim and Damian did over the course of the three days. They were courteous, communicated nicely and cleaned up perfectly at the end of the project. Years after a successful install, these folks helped with servicing, disconnecting, moving, and reconnecting one of the heat pumps - in a matter of days. Getting qualified help that quickly is rare, and much appreciated. It's also rare to see someone handling the smaller details and not just leaning on new unit sales; and it means they'll be selling me the replacement units when the time comes.

Vermont Energy Contracting installed 2 separate units (Heat pump hot water heater and a Weil McLain gas boiler) this winter. Both units were professionally installed and are operating efficiently. We highly recommend the team responsible for these installations. From the salesman Tim Goodrich to the plumber and installers, each one was courteous, answering questions and offering helpful information.

My furnace quit working last week & I reached out to Vermont Energy in a panic. They responded immediately & I had heat again in a few hours. Extraordinary communication skills, positive can-do attitudes, competent, responsive, trustworthy, reasonable, & quite simply all-around wonderful!
I wish I could give them more than five stars! They are the absolute best! I can not recommend them highly enough!

Casey and the Vermont Energy Contracting team have been awesome since I first called in May 2025. I spoke to a real human (I think it was Vicky?) who set me up with a prompt home visit, and quickly received the quote after the visit. I have asked for an upgrade on the quote and everything has been processed very quickly. I look forward to working with Vermont Energy Contracting to replace my boiler and will write another review with photos after the install!

Vermont Energy just installed a new furnace a heat pump to provide central air conditioning in a mini split in our bedroom. I am so pleased that I went with this company. Their crew is very efficient hard-working and they clean up great I am totally satisfied with the job they did I would recommend them to anybody.

This company was wonderful to work with. We had a problem with some equipment and they were unbeleivably responsive. They were able to correct the issue quickly, but the best part is how poilite and caring they were. From the office staff, to the techs who visited the home, we could not be more impressed. They were so careful to place down tarps so the rugs stayed clean as they were in\out of their truck. We cannot thank them enough!!

I had a new construction house built in 2023. Vermont Energy gave me a very reasonable quote for a ductless heat pump system for my home that ended up meeting the needs, and continues to be functional to this day. That alone is worth five stars. Over the last few years, I've had incidents wherein the folks at Vermont Energy really stepped up and went above and beyond.

My unit ended up getting damaged during home construction, resulting in a situation where the unit wasn't functional, and was making disconcerting noises. They immediately dispatched someone to take a look.

Two years after construction, I had solar panels put in. During installation, they damaged a coolant line during the hottest day of the summer. They escalated the issue, and dispatched someone to do the repairs and recharge the line, during their second busiest season.

Vermont Energy is thorough and transparent, which on its own is fantastic, but even more impressive is how attentive they are, even after the sales have been made, and installation is complete.

I'll be returning to them first on any future HVAC related projects moving forward.
