I started working with Chuck and his team during the HOT summer of '24 when our central air conditioner condenser failed. He quickly provided an upgraded replacement which has kept our house cool! He also provided a thorough cleaning of the A/C and Heating Unit.
When we purchased our commercial warehouse in Barrington, C&S was my first call. We added (3) new Modine Heaters, 24" Spiral Duct work along with a new furnace to heat the upstairs office.
The service from his team is excellent and they provide great workmanship. I appreciate the follow-up calls after installation making sure everything is performing well. I highly recommend working with C&S for both residential and commercial!

Chuck and his team were amazing. Reliable, knowledgeable, professional, and priced way below the competition. We had a new oil burner installed, along with a new tank, and also a new Mitsubishi Mini Split added.

This is a second update I would like to say that this business goes above and beyond to make sure their previous customer are satisfied, let me tell you the owner i believe he's goes by chuck I had an issue in installing a new washer and was having best buy installers install it in my laundry room and for some reason this dumm asses had ended up braking one of the hot water pipes and water went everywhere so I had no one else that I knew that can help with this issue so I went ahead and called chuck from
(C&S Oil Hvacr)he came over immediately he had stop what he was doing and got to my house in no time and had called (Royal Plumbing & heating Inc.) one of he's friend who was a certified plumber. they came and got a new piece welded and problem solve , this place of business that anyone with hvac service ac oil boilers etc I encourage any one to call this guy for any of you're service this is the service you need this is the customer service you should want from a establishment like them you will not have no regrets . You might have a different company you go too but I can guarantee you they won't be as proffesional loyal knowledgeable and will treat you like family like this guys do. Highly highly recommended

I highly recommend C&S! Chuck was amazing. We were having so many issues with our furnace. We had other companies come out, and no one could figure out the problem. Chuck was incredibly knowledgeable, honest, and fair with his pricing. He ended up replacing our furnace and did a great job. He’s genuinely a great guy, and we’re so grateful for his help. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs HVAC services.

I can't thank Chuck and his crew enough for the fast response in dealing with my emergency call on a Friday. My well used furnace had it's end of life moment during the coldest day we had so far. They responded quickly the same day, assessed the situation and recommended a replacement unit. I was surprised at how fast he could get the installation scheduled. The new unit was installed the follow Tuesday and is working flawlessly. They were friendly, professional and so easy to work with. Told them I will be calling in the spring to have my AC checked before I need it. I would recommend them for any of your needs.

Chuck the owner came and did a thorough inspection of the system, checking for draft, CO readings, and efficiency. He was very good at explaining every detail of what he was doing, what might be the cause of my draft issue and he made excellent suggestions for future considerations regarding my equipment. My furnace stopped working twice this winter for two different reasons when it was 10° out. Mike changed His schedule so he could come And fix the problem. That’s One of the things I like so much about Mike… I can Depend on him.

My furnace stopped working on a Thursday night and I found Diamond Mechanical recommended by a trusted friend. I sent them an after-hours message and they responded right away and let me know that they could come to my house the following morning. Mike was on time, and by 9am I had hot water again. He was fast and friendly. I would definitely use this company again and would highly recommend.

Nice try! This canned response to the review which pretends they're concerned is only so you can reel-in new customers. If you were truly concerned, you would have answered all my texts and scheduled a call to fix the issue. Instead you went dark on me since October of 2024.

I do not recommend this company. At a high level, they were unprofessional, unresponsive, and unwilling to fix issues they caused. I paid for their service and for multiple follow-up visits, yet the original problem was never resolved. I ultimately had to hire a different provider, who confirmed that the issue resulted from Diamond’s work. I almost never leave negative reviews, but after my experience (and nearly $1,000 in incremental costs) it feels like the only thing to do as the company does not keep promises.

We have asked diamond mechanical to service our furnace since we bought our house back in 2021. Very simple work.I've been told I can do it myself, but I'd rather have a professional do it. I had no issues with diamond through the years until now. Constant reschedules and no replies. Happened three times in the last three months.And once last year...

I'm a very calm and patient person.But when I am leaving my job to come to a scheduled appointment, with no response from you guys, you could probably see the disappointment in my eyes.

Besides this text chain I have shared.I have called dozens of times and have probably spoke to a human once. Also, diamond mechanical doesn't seem to have an office where google says the office is.

My guess is they probably had an emergency call and chose to ignore me because my service would not pay as much as an emergency. I understand that, but a phone call is in order.

Diamond Mechanical did an incredible job swapping out our ancient system with a new and improved propane setup. The team worked fast and was very responsive to any questions we had. There was a mixup with the zones for heating and when it was detected, they got it switched around immediately. 10/10 recommend these guys for any jobs you may have.

The outcome was great. Took too long for outcome to happen. Was not in his control. It was a warranty issue and paperwork was submitted immediately. Took 35 days in the dead of winter to finally get furnaces replaced and running.
Mike was as frustrated as we were. The work Mike did amazing work and once he had everything inline he did it in a timely fashion around Mother Nature. I would recommend diamond mechanical again. He is only one person operation but worth working with. My only issue I had at all was communication during that 35 day period.

I called about noises from our heating system and Mike arranged to come the next day. I was concerned about some components that did not look ok. Mike arrive and confirmed my concerns about 3 valves and the expansion tank. The system was drained, valves and expansion tank were replaced, the system was restarted with no issues. Our heating system has been running smoothly for 3 weeks and there is no noise. Mike explained everything upfront. Work was completed in less than 2 hours and cleanup was great. Diamond mechanical was recommended by our niece and I am grateful I called.

Coastal Mechanical came out to look at a problem with our heating ventilation. Since adding an addition, which tied into our existing furnace, we have not been able to regulate the heat on our second floor. After analyzing the situation, Abram secured a part for the fix and installed it within a two hour window! Excellent service and professionalism! Greatly appreciate the prompt attention!

Richard did an outstanding job on a variety of plumbing and installation issues in my home. He was on time, professional, skilled, friendly and he communicated well. I will definitely use Coastal Mechanics again in the future.

Thank you for coming to do the yearly maintenance. I realize that the need to address more urgent matters regarding furnace repairs given the extended cold weather and number of calls you have received as a result. Abram was courteous, conscientious and most helpful with furnace maintenance. He is a gem and we (Kathy and I) were extremely happy with the job that was done.

Abram from Coastal Mechanical came to look at our Minisplit heat pump and diagnosed a bad “board” that he ordered and replaced. Once the system was fixed and working again he then determined the fan motor was no good ( which you couldn’t tell until the system was working). He came today and replaced the fan motor and tested each zone. All things are working great again.! He was very friendly, polite and professional. I’m very satisfied with his work and would gladly recommend him and Coastal Mechanical to anyone needing this type of service. Thank you to him and the rest of the staff who coordinated and got parts ordered to fix our system. Great Job 👍🏻😎

Hands down the best around. Coastal Mechanicals team is knowledgeable,professional and respectful of your time. My technician was there 30 minute prior to the scheduled time which is always a great thing to see when needed any type of service. There's no reason to search elsewhere. A+++
