This company is the most professional company I have dealt with in a while. Technical staff is professional, knowledgeable, friendly and trustworthy.

All around professionals and I got to say I am pretty picky being an Engineer. I did not have time to fix the AC problem and thought it was going to cost a lot to have a AC guys come on sight. They had it fixed in 20 min and found another issue that I did not even see and it really needed to be fixed. Great job and they were neat too. I signed them up to inspect the boiler this Fall.

When my furnace groaned and grunted and died in April I was panicked, and after several terrible used car salesman type estimates by the big name companies, thankfully a friend recommended I call RA Desmarais. I did so immediately and I received a friendly and fast return call and a no pressure estimate and honest assessment of my options. It was an easy decision to go with them due to both their pricing and their friendly, no pressure, honest and kind approach. The office staff, the installers and the owner have all been beyond exceptional. If I could give them a 10 stars review I would. The installation was done quickly, all my questions were answered, and the friendliness and professionalism of everyone working for RA Desmarais has me recommending them to everyone I know. Thank you for making an otherwise stressful time, so much easier.

We just had P&M do our annual service after all other local firms told us there was a 8-12 week waiting list. We were selling our home and needed it done asap. Ernie came the following Monday! Great guy, honest to the bone and we highly recommend him for all your furnance needs. We will certainly be staying with P&M from now on!

Boiler decided to completely quit during these record cold November temps and a whole new boiler was needed. Due to the cold, most companies were too busy to do the job for at least a week. Wife called P & M and left a message. Ernie returned the call a few minutes later and within a half hour was at my house. Quoted a price and returned the following morning. New boiler was installed and operational within a few hours. I highly recommend P & M and will definitely use again when the need arises.

Ernie came to look at a heating issue related to a sensor in the radiant flooring. Unfortunately it is something needed to be fixed by the original installer, but Ernie went out of his way to find a way to fix the issue and keep the house nice and warm for now. He couldn’t fix it completely but refused to take any money. I truly appreciate his kindness and will not hesitate to call him or refer him for any future needs.

I second all the other reviews. Ernie is amazing. Our water heater needed to be replace Friday morning. I called Ernie at 8:00. he was at my house by 8:30, water heater was replaced and running by 10:30. All this at the best price in Concord. I will not use anyone else for HVAC services

Thank you Ernie. The seller had my heater serviced and inspected by someone else in concord. The first morning in my new house on a Saturday and my water is ice cold... I called Ernie and he came out and fixed it right away at an affordable cost. Thank you so much Ernie!!! What a great person and business owner. know who I will call next time.

Your driver in your box truck needs to learn how to drive! No wonder why your truck looks all beat up. Red means stop not start to turn out in front of one vehicle and then turn out in front of a dump truck that has the right of way. Just for that I will never use your services and I will never recommend anybody to use your services get some people to have some common sense

Although the plumber showed up an hour early and did a credible job of removing our garbage disposal. He charged us way over market rate for his work. We actually had sticker shock when he quoted us the price for about 1.5 hours worth of work. Comparing it to the highest estimate price for removing a garbage disposal in NH he charged about $100 dollar more than he should have. Very disappointing.

Our initial encounter with Ernie was fine, our water heater died 2 years ago and he responded quickly and did what we thought was quality work for a reasonable price.
Fast forward to yesterday, our 2 year old water heater is leaking so I called Ernie about
It as it has a 6 year warranty. Ernie advised it would cost $1000 to come and replace a WH that he installed and is under warranty! Ernie said this was a standard rate.
I called 3 other plumbing/heating establishments and they all said that was a significantly high rate to charge to replace a warranty covered WH. Then after seeing pictures of my WH and how it was installed, I was advised it was not up to code.
Now we are having a new one installed with all the correct components per code for the same price Ernie was going to charge us just to replace the existing which again he was not going to bring up to code!
My husband then spoke with Ernie and it was not a pleasant call as when my husband mentioned he did not install per code, Ernie’s response was “it’s a stupid code”
My husband responded that if we are told when we have it replaced that the leak is due to how it was installed we would be sending him the bill and he hung up on my husband.
It is very clear the Ernie charge’s exponentially higher than he should and does not do quality work as he does not follow codes.
We would not recommend him to any of our friends or family!

If you have any need for HVAC services call 603 Oil Burner Services. Peter and Kyle are top notch! When our water heater stopped working (Brrrrrr! 🥶) I knew who to call right away. Our call was returned, a site visit to evaluate the problem was made, and a new water heater was installed…all within 24 hours! We couldn’t believe it! They took the time to show us what happened and educated us on which product would be best for our home. Support a local and dedicated small business and call them FIRST!

Absolutely phenomenal work and customer service from Pete and Kyle!! I now won't even consider another company for my furnace and heating system needs. They came out on short notice (same day) to address some issues I was having with my oil burning furnace. They were highly knowledgeable and very professional throughout the service appointment. What put the experience over the top was Pete and Kyle's willingness to explain the process as they went and educate me on everything they were doing. Can't recommend 603 Oil Burner Service enough!!

Kyle and Peter are the best of the best. I called them after being unable to get anyone out to service our furnace. They were very easy to communicate with, prompt, and were able to fit us into a busy Fall schedule. They both took the time to educate and involve me in their process. It's clear that they care about the work that they do and their customers. They are a real, kind father and son team. Cannot say enough about these guys.

On what was going to be a weekend of severe cold, our primary radiant heating circulator died. Called 603 OBS and they arrived within a few hours with a replacement circulator. Heat was flowing within the hour. Can't say enough good things about them.

Peter and Kyle provided timely and compassionate service, and were very informative. They took the time to answer my questions and provide additional information I was curious about. They clearly care about and prioritize their customers. Great local business!

603 Oil Burner Services installed my new heating system in Hanover, NH in December 2023. I selected this business after much careful research. I am impressed beyond belief with Peter’s and Kyle’s (the business owners) high standards of professionalism, honesty, workmanship, expertise, and total commitment to making my experience the very best possible.
Peter and Kyle never promised the least expensive oil burner system and installation. They did promise to provide me complete information the make reasonable decisions in terms of brand of boiler to purchase, etc., and high quality work and service.
Peter and Kyle repaired major problems with my radiators that far exceeded expectations at the time my contract was signed, and did not charge me for the extra work.
I am convinced that had I gone with a large company (e.g., the company that supplies my heating oil), I would not have received as much value for my investment.

We are not people who usually write reviews, but the service that Pete and Kyle offered to us was above and beyond what one would expect. Right from the start they showed up on time!! Phone calls were returned in a timely manner! They made the experience of having to replace our heating system as seamlessly as possible and with total pride taken in their work.
Absolutely awesome. So happy we had their service. We will have them out for other work we may need here in the future.

Update: February 2026
These guys continue to show care and concern towards their customers! On a personal note, they checked in on us during a recent difficult time after a couple of losses!

They stopped in and made some time to check in and see if the new system's up and running correctly. We are working on having them come out for something on more of an important customer education situation with the new system to keep it at its best, and are working to get an app't soon all the while in between this extremely cold Winter! But they have been responsive and really care to keep the customer connection! Something you don't always see these days. Thanks 603.
