A big job replacing an old oil furnace with a hybrid HVAC system in our very 260 year old house. Service was excellent and and work went quick - we are excited and ready for Summer!

Ben and his team were amazing. We woke up on a cold winter morning to no heat and hot water so we called Nichols. Ben was able to come and install a new furnace the next day for us all at a reasonable price. Ben and his team did a wonderful job and we are very happy with our new boiler. We would definitely recommend for any HVAC needs.

Had Ben install a new Bosch System, heat pump main heat, below 35 degree system switches to LP heat, added central AC that I did not have before with 3 zones, and added a lot of new ductwork to my first floor renovation.

I could not have been happier with Ben & Micks workmanship. All the new ductwork was straight, level, insulated, sealed at joints. The job looks great in the end. I have been in construction myself for 20 years and have never see a HVAC installer with such pride in his work.

This job was very expensive but a fair price for the workmanship. Along the way we did have a few issues and this is the most important part of my recommendation, Ben had to return a few times to replace faulty new equipment and work out a smart thermostat issue that was a error on Ecobee not Ben. During this time Ben was in it till the end to ensure I was happy and the system was 100% the way I wanted with no fuss or service fees.

I checked out a few places to fix my boiler before, but none were honest.

Then Ben from Nichols came by, checked my boiler, and was upfront about how long it would last. We liked their honesty and service, so we went with Nichols Heating and Cooling to replace our boiler.

They installed our new boiler and stayed longer to make sure everything worked. They even came back the next day to double-check.

If you want honest folks who won't overcharge you, go with Nichols without a second thought.

Came by and serviced my furnace when nobody else would

We had Temperature Solutions install 2 Daiken mini-split Inverters. First was fine. The second has never worked and Anthony has never returned our numerous calls.

Doing work on apartment complex (8 unit building) day 1 no hot water ( understandable) came home after work 10:30 p.m. Service people gone (24hrs service) NO HEAT, NO HOT WATER.What professional company leaves a complex without heat or hot water. As of writing this they just got back7:00 a.m. Would never hire or recommend this company.
Oh BTW no notification by either company or property management that anything was being done. Surprise service ( had no issue with heat or hot water) 24 hrs notice would have been nice and how long to fix would have been nice also.

My furnace had stalling issues, Anthony seemed knowledgeable had it going guickly. Had a equipment issue trying to test efficiency. But very satisfied with the timelyness of the appointment an cost of service. "But" The follow up invoice for service has not come as promised, After 3 attempts by text by me to receive one! So in a nutshell.. Anthony is technically sound! Challenged by accounting paperwork!!

If I could give these guys 500 stars I would. They showed up within 1.5 hours of calling on Father's Day, fixed the toilet issue and throughly cleaned the space they worked in. Very professional, helpful and prompt in services.

ABM does fabulous work in creating safe and comfortable electrical, plumbing and HVAC environments in buildings throughout Maine. The techs are professional, polite, and efficient.

ABM has been very responsive for condo we have in downtown Bangor. Quoted work, replaced a defective thermostat which is small work but were easy to deal with and arrange.

Our family has been working with Mike and the team at ABM for years now. Always satisfied with the service at Marquis Heating. They are all so friendly and always on time. I especially just love Joe, and Amber in customer service is the best!

I can not thank this company enough for being there for us when our contractor left the job site unfinished right was winter was starting. We had no other source of heat in our home and it was the beginning of December. Marquis heating came in and found us 2 emergency propane tanks that got us through the winter. They also walked us through the arduous process of navigating the public utilities system for the state and helped us get the project completed. Their communication and professionalism was top notch! They were there when we needed them and without hesitation!

Marquis heating was great until they sold to RH Foster. Now I am looking into changing fuel companies after they charged my card on a day that was not agreed to be withdrawn on. But then today they went ahead on the day they should have and withdrew the funds for the same ticket they charged me yesterday for. I tried to call. No response. Called and left 2 messaged on the automated emergency line and no response back still.
