We have had a number of appliance issues in the past year so when as spring approached and our heat pumps were not cooling regularly, we called JG to come out for a cleaning hoping that would correct the issue. Josh was very easy to work with and schedule a time for the cleaning and when he was completed with spring clean there were no messes we had to come behind and clean up ourselves.
Fast forward a few weeks when temperatures outside started getting warmer and the cleaning alone did not rectify, Josh came out the next day to recharge the system and get the heat pumps cooling again and stayed until we could feel the difference!
Would highly recommend JG for promptness, communication and commitment to getting the job we requested completed!!!

Highly recommend for any job big or small. I had an old furnace system that needed to be completely replaced and was extremely nervous and dreading the cost. Called on a Sunday and left a message. I received a text asking if it was an emergency and needed to be looked at that night, it could wait so they promptly called me on Monday morning to set up a time when they could come. We have had Somerset Heating and Cooling here for a consultation of flow and air in our heating system and any improvements that would make the system more efficient. That went very well. They came back after that to flush and purge all 6 loops and we have 2 other appointments with them to make improvements to heating systems, both oil and wood.

I have had many heating system companies here over the years and this is most professional, knowledgeable and efficient to date. They are very honest, polite and to the point. They are very thorough in their troubleshooting methodology. I would highly recommend them for any of your heating or cooling installations and maintenance.

I would cross reference prices they wanted 1000$ before they even showed up, it ended up being a 20$ part and 1 hr at 90/hr with another emergency company ....

We would highly recommend Royal River Heat Pumps! We recently moved into a house that had an existing heat pump from Royal River Heat Pumps. We were so happy with it that we decided to have a second pump installed. This company goes above and beyond from consultation, installation, to follow up, Royal River Heat Pumps knows how to run a business and make their clients happy. They really want you to love the product that you've purchased. The other nice thing that they do is handle all the paperwork for the Energy Efficiency Maine rebate. It was great receiving the rebate check in the mail a couple of weeks later! We suffered through a cold winter last year not wanting to turn up the heat too high since we were going through oil so quickly, but this year we're nice and warm and our heating costs have definitely gone down. Looking forward to the air conditioning aspect of the heat pump this summer!

The folks at Royal River are amazing. Excellent customer service, communication, follow- through, and workmanship. We did a heat pump system for our entire house and they did an outstanding job. There are a lot of companies and individuals that install heat pumps, but I can't imagine any of them do it with the expertise of these folks. Highly recommend!

We just had two heat pumps installed at our business location by RRHP and the service from start to finish was outstanding. The pricing was inclusive and straight-forward, and they assisted with the Efficiency Maine rebates.

We expected to use the heat pumps to support an aging traditional oil fueled HVAC system, but on the second day following install, the heat pumps were so effective that we completely shut the HVAC system off.

I've also used RRHP for residential heat pump installation and service for the past 6+ years and they have consistently provided professional, knowledgeable, and outstanding service.

Royal River Heat Pumps is a class act small local business! From the initial call to schedule an estimate, to the detailed estimate with clear illustrations and expectations of the scope of work created by the experienced sales person, to the day of install, our experience has been extremely positive. The crew that came out for the installation were on time and arrived on the day they said they would come. They were courteous, and worked nonstop to get our beautiful heat pumped installed. They answered all of our questions. When they were leaving they said we are their customer now and we can call anytime for anything.The administrators were helpful, efficient, and patient in aiding us with the rebate process. We would highly recommend Royal Rover Heat Pumps to anyone!

Got heat pumps installed in December and so far they are working great. Five total - 9k BTU living room/kitchen on a single zone, 6k BTU finished basement room on a single zone, and all three bedrooms 6k BTU on a multi. We got estimates from multiple companies and preferred Royal River's design - thoughtful, factored in things other companies didn't, and took into account concerns/desires (a couple of the proposed designs from other companies were *bad*, bordering on incompetent, but I won't name names) . And in practice, after having them for over a month, they work amazingly well (kept the whole house *hot* in -15 wind chill last night).

I appreciated them not oversizing - most of the other companies wanted to put a 12k BTU in the living room/kitchen but Royal River recommended a 9k and assured us it would be more than enough while being cheaper to purchase and run (I also did a lot of online research that confirmed this, with many people reiterating the importance of not oversizing). And yeah, it works *great*. Keeps the room (which is a living room/kitchen with a high-ish cathedral ceiling) perfect, right at the set temperature (70 degrees) while also keeping the rest of the floor warm when the doors are open. We usually have the living room, primary bedroom, and basement ones running consistently, the house feels amazing now.

Install was clean and professional. Six people on day one, four the next. Had a small issue the week after when CMP came out to do the service upgrade, he hit a piece of the plastic line hide with his ladder and cracked it. I emailed them and they responded right away and came out quickly to fix it.

Over the last month we've learned how to use them most efficiently (set and forget) and they use less electricity than we expected, on track to be solidly cheaper than our oil boiler while keeping the house much warmer and providing much-needed airflow. The Mitsubishi Comfort app works decently well and makes it easy to control all of them from our phones or Alexa. Excited to have a cool and dry house in the summer too. So yeah, I definitely recommend getting heat pumps and definitely recommend going with Royal River.

I’ve seen many of our neighbors who have heat pumps but what makes Royal River stand out the most is the quality in which they execute their services. Both of our outdoor units were thoughtfully placed on a platform and the company placed crush rock around the platform to make it look so much more aesthetically pleasing.
These little but important touches truly make a difference!

The crew was also thoughtful in how they placed drop clothes over our furniture and belongings so no dust or debris landed on them.
