I called them for an ongoing chimney leak - I had tried several other expensive repairs which had not solved it. They were able to come out the next day and did a thorough check of what was going on, and explained well what was causing the issue. They were able to have a crew out for a new chimney lining within a week even in February, and so far through several heavy rains it seems to have fixed the leak.

Matt was a very pleasant and thorough professional. He pointed out all of the issues that needed to be addressed and the reasons for concern. I also appreciated his consideration for timeliness.

For all those who are about to get the chimney sweep done and inspected. I hope it comes back with a great bill of health. However, for all of you who get the dreaded news... your chimney needs a new liner, or we found cracks, damage to the brick and mortar...etc. Please consider calling Felgemacher. The working crew Alex, Brendon, Josh, and Sean. Let me not forget the amazing office staff, Paige. Getting chimney work done is very expensive, causing a great deal of stress on a home owner. They took that stress away. They are meticulous, professional, and courteous, talked me through each step, deep breath, and reminded me it is going to be ok. They are licensed and insured. They didn't walk away from the job and tell me chimney is too high up (yes, a company did). They cleaned up every day, always called and told me how far out they are. The chimney work has a warranty that will out live me. I just bought my house less than 4 years ago. What a train wreck, and the things they found inside my chimney would knock your socks off. Thank you, Felgemacher, for doing a great job!! I feel safe now using my wood burning fireplace. Highly recommend this company.

Prompt service, nice masonry. However, I was never given the option of a chimney cap when signing a contract. There was a photo attached to the contract of a completed job with a cap. (So I assumed it was included). When I called, they wanted $300 more dollars for one. Also left a large amount of stones all over my backyard.
In the end the nice roofers that did my roof a week later put the. $60 chimney cap on that I bought at home depot!!

The receptionist Paige thoroughly followed through. And Sean the technician was incredibly helpful and as my husband called him “a really good guy.” Incredibly pleased with my original gas insert install and now the problem with the bad remote to it. Overall, very pleased. I would highly recommend them.

Jon worked very hard with persistence and muscle and he succeeded in getting open a rusted shut flue damper that was closed for 20 years. He also addressed my concerns about the top of the chimney. He recommended a repair plan which I accepted.

I bought a fireplace insert from them and the installer seemed nice and installed the vented gas log set but he left remote control box inside the fireplace. Now the remote control box has melted and I'm scrambling to buy new parts online. I wish they mentioned that the box needs to be outside especially since i paid a pretty good fee for the install/ log set. Lesson learned though.

Yes... I'am very satisfied with Conner... It was very knowledgeable about the masonry work that needs to be repaired... I learned a few things today. The texture brick that was on my house and a terracotta.. The estimate wasn't very expensive but within the realm of masonry work.. I hope Home headquarters pick him to do the project... Yes I'm going through a program for home repair.

I have used Felgemacher masonry before and having no complaints with them, hired them again for a chimney inspection and sweep. The chimney person, Jon Jamieson, arrived on time and was super professional and polite. He answered all of my questions and concerns and did his job quickly and neatly. I am moving out of this house to a house that doesn’t have a fireplace, but if I did, I would still hire Felgemacher and Jon Jamieson.

Our chimney is leaking. We called Felgemacher and set up an appointment.
Matt was on time and looked at our chimney. He did an estimate and went through all the details. Any questions we had he answered fully. Never rushed us. Matt is friendly and professional.

Jon was very polite and professional. He called in advance to advise of his arrival time for my estimate on regular brick repair to my home. He explained the process needed to replace some bricks and said he would check into a solution to remove a stain from the brick on the front of my house. Awaiting the estimate. Unable to rate any further.

They replaced my chimney. The new chimney looks awesome. The crew was very professional. They took measures to protect my roof when they were working. They did a great job of cleaning up when they were finished. I would highly recommend this company.

Jon was thorough, took time to listen and made sure to understand what I needed regarding work on my chimney. I was told he'd put a quote together for me. UPDATE: one month later, have texted multiple times asking for a quote and still waiting. I see I'm not the only one having the same issue. I'd like to do business with you guys, but sheesh. I'll be happy to change this review if the situation changes.

Matt was very nice when he came and gave us our estimate. He called and asked if he could come earlier than scheduled and arrived promptly . Very respectful and courteous . Very knowledgeable with issues . Answered all of our questions as well.

These guys had a good name with some of the other contractor that I have working on the house, so I thought I would give them a call. A young guy (Jon) came out and said that our garage needed work along with the chimneys but that was about it. I asked for a formal quote and over the next 2 weeks I called them more than 6 times to send the quote to my email. Each time they confirmed my contact info — but I have yet to receive the quote! Maybe they do good work, but I wasted hours of my time with this company. How can I give more than 1 star?
