We used Felgemacher for a chimney replacement that was desperately needed due to water damage in multiple locations (and more that we discovered during the tear down/rebuilding)

Alex and his team did such a great job coming out and fixing it. The repair work was more extensive than initially thought, but that's only because the level of damage/decay was so bad (our furnace exhaust was entirely blocked by decay 🙀) They made sure to check with us, show us photos, and walk us through what they were seeing so that we could make an informed decision before adding any extra charges on. They were very transparent and we appreciated that as first time home owners.

Definitely glad we went with this company, as our home is much much safer now and I can rest easy ☺️

P.s. if you're a queer person like me and get worried about contractors coming out, I would highly recommend getting Felgemacher and requesting Alex's team for any chimney repairs/replacement. Him and his team were very respectful and I felt more comfortable with them than I have with any other contractors who I've had come out before.
10/10 recommend them all around

Edit: my 80 yr old neighbor just called me and gushed for 10 minutes about how much she liked the guys who came out, what a good job they did on our chimney, and how considerate they were 😂😂😂

From my first call to ask for an estimate, to the cleanup after the work was done, everyone at Felgemacher was courteous and very professional. Colin gave us a couple of options and explained the pros and cons of each one. The estimate was actually less than I expected (always a plus!). The work was scheduled when the weather was good, and the crew showed up when they said. We were very pleased with the quality of the work and they cleaned up very well (not an easy feat this time of the year!). I would recommend Felgemacher without reservation.

Bought my current house in March '24. Was sitting on the chair in the dining next to the fireplace. It was raining, and I couldn't understand why I was getting wet. So I called Felgemacher. They came out and found the chimney needed help! The job was finished today and it looks absolutely beautiful. The picture doesn't do it justice.

Just letting you know that your drivers really should secure their items better behind their trucks. 2 wooden boards flew off the back because it wasn't secured properly. License plate is CE52194. Boards fell off at intersection on Abbott and quaker st by the stadium after they turned right 1:55pm. Hope there were no nails in those boards..

Ian called ahead of our appointment because he was able to come a few hours earlier than planned. He arrived, took photos, talked through the issues we were having with the bricks in our chimney, and got us a quote on the spot, which was good for 30 days. He explained scheduling and how much time he thought the job would take, let us know about the deposit. We've had work done by Felgemacher before and we're very pleased. Waiting for a couple more quotes, but we were very pleased with the service, and the quote.

Matt Kernitz came to check our chimney situation. He was very professional and explained everything thoroughly. He answered our questions and addressed our concerns. Very positive experience!
Update: Chimney rebuild was done by Wes and team. They did a great job. Wes takes great pride in his work and it shows. The job took a day longer than expected but was well done. They were respectful of property and did a complete cleanup. We’re pleased with the results. Highly recommend!!

Great company! Very professional and willing to help you any way they can. It took a couple of tries to find the right brick for the chimney but, what they came up with looks great with the old 1970's style that's on there. Job was completed in the time frame they indicated and cleaned up very well. If I need masonry work done again Felgemacher is my first call. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Now on to replaceing the ugly siding.

Felgemacher did a lot of work on my chimney and I couldn't be happier with everything. From the office staff answering all my questions and keeping me informed to the masons who worked at my home the entire experience was wonderful. Fireplace cleaning, inspection, new flue liners (in both furnace and fireplace), crown and tuck point, etc.. The workers were respectful of my home, did an excellent job, cleaned up and paid attention to all the small details that you want when you hire a contractor. They spent days in and out of my home which can be nerve wracking but they made it comfortable by being professional and courteous. Thanks to JP, Patrick, Alex, Kyle, Sal and Lisa for all you did. I recommend Felgemacher for any and all chimney needs.

Great Company! The workers were professional and friendly. The work was done in a timely manner. Our chimney had collapsed on the inside and the top chimney had to be rebuilt. A team fixed our problem quickly and cleaned everything up when they had completed the project. We give them 5 out of 5 stars!

He walked me through the options Felgemacher could provide, even gave me a few very helpful suggestions on some roofing concerns. Professional team right started from the sales, Matt showed up in person for the estimate, explained all my options and potential pricing if I go with rebuild vs. temporary repair by others, also the cost to remove and install different style chimney. I really appreciated Matt’s all around knowledge.
Office lady Paige is always available to answer questions, scheduling was on time and easy.
I mostly like to thank the crew Lewis & Mike, they show up on time, setting up the scaffold, did nice work, cleaning up all the debris at end, great communication.

The crew showed up on time, parked where I asked them to, used only the part of the lawn I requested, was very polite, treated each other with respect, and worked hard. The actual chimney work, inside and out, was done well. However, the cleanup afterwards was horrible. Concrete stains down entire sections of roof, from the chimney down. Also, tons and tons of debris/stones/pieces of brick that collected on top of my gutter guards. I spent 3 hours on July 4th up on an extension ladder, picking out stones, brushing out debris, and trying to clean the roof without rubbing off more of it!

I met with Sean to discuss a chimney structural problem. He was very knowledgeable and proposed a reasonably priced solution. I received a written contract within days which provided a clear listing of the steps they would take. It took a while to actually get the team on site to do the work however. Once they arrived, they quickly set up the scaffolding and had the job done in 3 days. The repairs look great and I would recommend this company.

Bought a house with a fireplace and never owned one. Austin came out, inspected it, cleaned it, and explained the ins and outs of everything I need to safely have fires. Paired with some great conversation the whole experience was great and we'll be reaching out next year for another cleaning for sure!

Felgemacher is a first class masonry company. The project started earlier than planned and met my schedule. Wesley and Alex did outstanding work and had a good eye for the details.
Office staff was very helpful and would use Felgemacher on my next masonry project.

Austin came to inspect and clean my chimney. He was great! He showed me the 360 camera view and explained what he was doing, and how it all worked. Austin was very polite, respectful and on time! I would highly recommend Felgemacher to anyone looking to maintain their fireplace!
