We called Cloverdale Plumbing because we had an improperly installed shower valve and wand from a different plumber which failed inspection. Josiah came promptly and was polite, explained everything and got the job done nicely. We highly recommend this company.

Cloverdale plumbing came the same day I called sent a highly professional and knowledgeable technician. He quoted me a price $1000 less than a previously called plumbing company. Riley Explained everything he would be doing and why it was necessary. Asked if I had any questions and he was extremely professional. He installed my water heater with a few hours and it was perfect. The service and price were outstanding. I am so glad I called for a second estimate. The savings were incredible. I highly recommend Cloverdale plumbing for any job you may have.

DETAILS: I was in the market for a water heater. I am not a plumber so I headed to a big box store. They sent a plumber for a recommendation that was astronomically high - so I called Cloverdale to avoid being ripped off.

Justin, the owner, was kind enough to talk through my options on tanks and install. He spent a great deal of time working with me and making sure I understood my choices. He never rushed me and treated me respectfully. He gave me a fair quote (MUCH MUCH more reasonable than the first bid!). And he steered me towards a tank brand I am comfortable with (very happy he talked me out of my first uneducated choice).

He sent two professional and kind young men who worked diligently. They were very respectful of my property, time, and also answered my myriad questions. They were timely, clean, and professional. You can tell they moved with a practiced and professional hand. I would name them here, but I want to respect their privacy - but these guys are fantastic plumbers!! The tank is great, improved, and working well. They gave me straight tips on operation and maintenance.

And the lady who set up the appointment was very courteous, kind, and welcoming. All phases of my experience with this company was a delight.

But importantly, too, they were very honest with the pricing. It was fair and honest. It was an exceptional value for such a good experience.

Also, I live remotely. I appreciate that they were willing to come up to where I live to do work. I live south of Idaho City - it is much appreciated that they were willing to come out.

Couldn't be happier with these fine folks. I suggest you give this strong and established local business a try - I recommend them wholeheartedly and without reservation.

I couldn't be more satisfied with the work done by Five Star Plumbing. Logan, Mike and the crew replaced my sewer line and rerouted my kitchen drain through my house's crawl space to the new line. The company is aptly named - I give them 5 stars! The workers are knowledgeable, professional and conscientious in completing the work and cleaning up. Five Star Plumbing will be my "go to" service. I highly recommend them.

5 Star was great! They answered my call for service, quickly made themselves available, and then were clear with the project and providing the necessary details for repairs and the price was fair. Definitely recommend them.

Terrible experience - I would never use them again. We correctly identified the problem with a widow friend's water heater leak and passed on the info to Five Star. Ten minutes of work cost her almost $400! They left parts on the garage floor and took off. Calls were not returned, etc. Finally Ray agreed to refund her money - it's been weeks and several calls and nothing has been done. We've been promised three times! Women, especially widows, should NOT be taken advantage of!

These guys are terrific. Reliable, timely and quality work. Logan and Mike changed out three potty style toilets for three new ADA American Standard Cadets. Price was reasonable and they kept me informed on show-up time, progress and completion. Five Star is my GoTo plumber from now on. Excellent!

Five Star was there on time, made the repairs, and called after the job was finished to explain what the leak was.

Ray went the extra mile and was able to schedule me earlier than planned, and did not over charge. He was professional, friendly, and took the time to explain the issue and solution. I will be contacting him again for any other plumbing needs.

Great service but we had the parts needed and it took maybe 15 minutes for the job. I thought that the $265 was excessive.

Logan was willing to stop by my place like 30 mins after I called, to just take a look and offer his advice. He had all the needed parts on hand and ended up fixing our leaks the same day. They were more than fair on their prices. Wish all services went this smoothly.

The actual crew working and digging was excellent but I have learned after the fact that they probably charged me way more than the original quote and said it was necessary, when it wasn't. Also they still haven't fixed my driveway! 4 months later! I guess I get to keep your traffic cones blocking it off? I sure miss parking on my own property! Wow! Even took a heloc for these guys. Their only stars are because the crew was very professional.

We had to replace a geothermal hot water radiator - a big one. It weighs about 500 pounds. Five Star made 2 trips, each with 3 or 4 men. The first trip tested the replacement radiator to ensure no leaks. The second trip removed the old radiator and installed the replacement. Plumbing had to be rerouted. They then removed the old radiator and disposed of it.

Huge main line leak. Ray came and looked at the property within a few hours of my call. The next morning his crew was at the house digging a hole. They got our water back within a day. Awesome!

Five Star Plumbing Service showed up on time and were very efficient in locating and removing the clog from all 3 drains.

I have an older home from the 50s with a basement bathroom that started to overflow. The scheduling was fast and easy and Ray and his team of techs were very knowledgeable in their craft and equiped with all high tech tools needed. They were able to come in and identify roots that had been obstructing the flow and used a high pressure water hose that sounded like they were buzz sawing all the roots. They showed me before and after through their cameras and took their time to inspect the entire length of the pipe from house drain to the city line. They explained the differences in the pipes used and the most common problems I would come across. Instead of trying to sell me with unnecessary repair cost, they discussed options that would fit my budget and a routine yearly checkup to see the progress of the roots.
I would definitely recommend 5 star plumbing for their customer service, knowledge and affordability in what repairs they would do if it was their own home.

Roy and his associate did a sterling job identifying and eliminating the blockage with good humor and professionalism.

Ray and crew did a great job lining my main sewer lateral and communicating with my insurer for coverage under a service line rider. They did the job promptly and were very clear about what they were doing and sticking to a timeline. They were always courteous and patient in fielding my many questions, right down to showing me a scoping of the finished job.

Ray and team always does a great job for us. They recently completed a very small job with on one hours notice to stop a small leak.
