My furnace went out on the weekend so I called Polar Heating. They were quick to respond and Charlie came out within an hour. He was able to diagnose the issue in a matter of a few minutes. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. I could tell he really cared about his customers. I highly recommend Poler Heating and Air-conditioning to everyone. They are the best!

Charlie was extremely helpful and informative! We had a recurring issue with our condensate line and within an hour he had not only diagnosed and mitigated the issue, he also installed a pump to improve the overall soundness of our system. We now have peace of mind and our AC is working like new! We highly recommend Polar for all of your HVAC needs!

My heat went out at 8:00 PM. I called Polar and left message. They called back at 7:20 AM! Awesome! Scheduled for 9:00 AM. Dan Barron arrived on time. I knew my system was undersized. Dan got it back and running. We chatted about replacement . I ended up scheduling new system install. Dan was very easy to talk to and explained options very well.There was NO pressure to buy new equipment. The installation crew was amazing. Superb work and cleaned up every particle when the work was done. Explained the new thermostat and importance of completing owner registration process. I am 100% satisfied with equipment and price. Dan was so friendly and honest with his recommendations and gave us options on how to fix the issue. He was on time and had the parts and tools needed. He was very respectful and polite. The service was through our home warranty, and within 5 minutes of hanging up from the warranty company, Polar called with an appointment time THAT day! Highly recommend and will use again if ever needed! Thank you Dan!

Charlie was our serviceman and he was excellent from start to finish! We have recently purchased a house in Boise and we were having trouble with our house warming up. We easily and quickly got an appointment and he came out to evaluate the problem. Our heat pump was freezing up. It turned out to be a bit complicated to figure out the issue but Charlie did! He also suggested that two of our ducts were not installed properly and that air flow was being constricted so he personally came back and replaced and reinstalled two ducts. And he was right. Now the heat comes out beautifully! I can’t say enough about the professionalism of Charlie plus he’s a really nice guy! Don’t go anywhere else!

From my initial contact to final install Dan and the crew were honest, helpful and communicative. The new furnace works great. If youre using a home warranty try to get Polar. I will use them for future services.

I needed to replace my Heating and air in my house. For budgeting reasons I had to do it at two different times, I knew this was an issue and had one company tell me that it couldn't be done/they wouldn't do it. I asked neighbors and friends for any recommendations and had 3 companies come out to give me estimates from those recommendations. (Polar by far had the highest number of recommendations). Two of the companies both said they would do it and prepared estimates, making sure to point out that I was wrong to NOT do the entire thing at once. I know that it was but that was what I HAD to do. Polar came out, were professional, timely and very knowledgeable. I explained what I needed done and why I had to do it it two separate times/appointments. Dan never once made me feel pressured to do it all at once, or that it was a huge hassle to them. He was friendly, quickly gave me options and prices and kindly explained that it would more than likely be an extra $500 - 600 because they had to remove my furnace to fit the new unit in and then replace it. I understood and was fine with it. I made an appointment for the next month to get the AC replaced. The team showed up exactly on time and were ready to work. It took them only a few hours to replace the entire thing and they didn't have to charge me the extra!! I was so happy with their service and overall professionalism. I will definitely be using them to replace the Heating as well in the fall!! I recommend them to everyone!

When my furnace stopped working in the midst of winter, with two small children in the house, this company was awesome and their pricing was fair. They were very quick to send someone to check it out. The person they sent, Charlie, was very knowledgeable, honest, efficient, professional, kind, and quick find and fix the problem. He had our furnace up and running faster than I could have expected. I recommend the company (and) Charlie to anyone in need of anything heating/cooling related. If the need arises I will use them again!

After more than 20 years and 3 replaced circuit boards, we recently decided not to replace the board on our furnace yet again. Dan Barron originally came to diagnose the problem on our old unit, but after we asked, he presented the replacement options in an informed but very low key, no pressure way. We were impressed with reviews of the Bryant units and decided to proceed.

The appropriately popular Charlie along with his crew did an excellent job on a rather complicated installation. They really went the extra mile to ensure that our new system would fix the heating and cooling problems we had with the original HVAC system. Despite the additional time and materials needed to make those corrections, the bill was exactly the estimate given by Dan the week before.

We are very pleased with the uniform heating provided by the new furnace. It will be a while before we try out the AC, but expect that it will function equally well. We highly recommend Polar Heating and Air.

We had Polar Heating and Air Conditioning install two new air conditioning units in our home. It was a terrific experience from beginning to end! Dan was thorough, helpful, honest, and easy to get ahold of. The installation team was very professional. They were respectful of our home and kept things clean and tidy. We would definitely recommend this company and look forward to working with them in the future.

We have used Polar Heating and Air several times at our rental properties and have been very pleased with how professional and polite their techs are. Today it was our personal AC that required help. Charlie was awesome even when there were issues outside of his control! In the end he even helped save us money by signing us up on their service agreement. I feel the temp dropping as I write! I am so thankful for Charlie's patient persistence, his skilled work and great advice! No more trying out other companies!

I came in contact with Polar Heating & Air via my home warranty company. They came out to do a tune up of my furnace and a/c unit.

The appointment time was set, and they told me I would receive a call about 30 minutes prior to the technician arriving. He called in advance and then showed up right on time.

Dan came in, explained what he would be doing. After a bit he notified me that there was an issue with our furnace and it would need to be replaced. He went onto check the a/c.

Once the service was done, he explained to me in detail the issue with the furnace, and how the process would work with my home warranty company.

A day or two later our thermostat became an issue. I called Dan to see if it had anything to do with the furnace. He stated it was a different issue, and made his way over to our house to come check it out for us. He said he wanted to make sure we at least had heat coming into the house so we were not too cold. He went above and beyond what the warranty company stated would be done.

He truly showed concern for my family to make sure we had heat in the house. I would recommend using this company, especially if you get Dan as the person providing service.

I’ve worked with Pilar in the past and have had good experiences. I received a “free AC tune up/inspection” with another company after we had some plumbing issues. After the inspection, I was quoted around $3,000 for fixes that needed to be done on my furnace and AC unit. I called Polar for a second opinion and Dan assured me that all is running as it should and that there was only minor wear and tear on the unit and nothing out of the ordinary. He showed me how to clean off the dirt and debris from my AC unit when the other company said they had to do it with a chemical compound because it was so bad. Dan even offered me some good practical advice for the most efficient AC usage and was very helpful. All of this for no charge. If you want an honest local company for AC and heating, get ahold of Polar.

We had a new HVAC installed and the guys did an outstanding job . They were on time and very professional. This isn’t the first time we have used Polar Heating and air, but the first time installing a new system. They are very fast to respond a well.

We were installing a new exhaust fan in our master bath as the shower area didn’t get as much ventilation as needed. Called Charlie at Polar Heating and Air who was super friendly and had availability the next day. He called the next morning to give us an updated ETA and to confirm the size of the fan we purchased for installation. They arrived on time, knocked out the job and were priced very competitively. We would definitely use them for any HVAC needs.

I have had polar heating and air out multiple times to my house. The customer service far exceeds my expectations. The knowledge that these guys have shows, the workmanship is clean, I really haven’t experienced customer service like this in a long time. Dan always shows up on time, he’s very, polite professional, and honest. I will only use Polar for all of my heating and air conditioning needs!

We have had heating and AC serviced by Polar Heating & Air since 2015.The original install by Charlie was excellent. Servicing by Dan thru the years has been excellent. Last year, Dan found a faulty capacitor which was replaced under warranty. This year, Charlie replaced a faulty control board which he found to be under labor & parts warranty. Superior awareness and service. We highly recommend.

The service technician was early and quickly diagnosed the issue with my AC. When he returned the next day, he was also early and resolved the issue we had very efficiently. I am very impressed with this company and their professionalism. Would recommend 100%
