Jeff came out because I had a strange issue with my ac. It was barely working and when I shut off my ac part of my electricity went out. Jeff took less than 10 minutes to figure out it was a ComEd problem and even took the time to explain what was happening.

Pillar was the second company my mother-n-law called when her AC went out. Unlike the first company who quoted her an expensive repair. Pillar actually did the right thing. She was very impressed with their honesty.

Travis went above and beyond to fix my mom's a/c. He worked extra hours on the weekend at no extra charge to sort the problem. Honest HVAC companies are sadly hard to find but this is definitely one of them. Will be reccomending pillar to everyone I know.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Pillar fixed the issues that the other company could not. I will never use another HVAC company again.

My A/C wasn't working. I initially called one of the big HVAC companies that you see all the ads for... Big mistake. The other company quoted super high for the repair, then told me I needed a new furnace / blower.

After spending thousands of dollars with the other company, the A/C still wasn't right. The big company came out multiple times and said it was "fixed" even though it was making loud noises and not that cold.

I needed a 2nd opinion so I called Pillar. They came through with flying colors. They fixed all the mistakes that the other company created / neglected to fix. The other company didn't replace the wiring to the new unit. So the wires were touching and shorting out, which created other problems.

Pillar was able to diagnose and fix the problem on the first visit. The tech was super knowledgeable, friendly, and I felt comfortable with him in my house.

Next time I will call Pillar first... Lesson learned.

I called to a routine furnace cleaning/tuneup. They scheduled the next morning! The technician was prompt, friendly and so very thorough. I was shown areas of concern, and spoken to in understandable terms. This was by far the very best service experience I have had on my HVAC system in 35 years of home ownership! You'll be glad you called them for honest and trustworthy peace of mind.

First time customer but the previous home owner had used Pillar to install and maintain the HVAC system and it’s obvious why. I Called during a heat wave with the house at 85 degrees. Was told they would be out at 3:30 and Adam arrived an hour ahead of schedule, knew his stuff, explained why the 13 years old part went bad, and got the repair done quickly. Highly recommend Pillar for anything HVAC related.

Travis was very thorough in his analysis and installation of our HVAC unit. Kept us informed on work he performed and on how to maintain and care for unit going forward. Would recommend to anybody looking for HVAC repair/replace. Great company!

2 years ago, Travis helped us with a furnace repair by replacing a circuit for under $300 when another technician said we needed a new $5000 furnace. So when our AC unit broke down I immediately called Travis. His associate Daniel came by & tried every possible way to try to repair our 13 year old AC unit but unfortunately found that it had to be replaced. Travis & Daniel came back in 2 days & installed the new AC unit in 97F heat! I found out my friend had an AC unit installed by another company for a smaller house & paid over $1000 more! Pillar Heating & Air go above & beyond, no need to try anyone else!

Travis has been taking care of our heating and air conditioning needs for many years. He has performed work at our residence as well as our business. He is always friendly, prompt, and honest. Had a great experience with these guys repairing my broken furnace. Adam is top notch and helped me understand all the issues and repair options. Much better experience with the team than others I've used in the past.

Fast and efficient, family hired them after another company didn't call back and it was getting very hot after a couple of days with no air conditioning. Pillar was on it, same day repair when other companies needed more time. Gave good advice regarding filters and knew what they were talking about. Thank you!
