STOP looking for a heating and/or AC company....

Pillar is the ONLY company I would use. I trust Travis and his team to come into our home and work on our equipment without any hesitation. He is honest, fair, knowledgeable and a pleasure to do business with. My father had worked in this industry most of his life and I KNOW he would be not only impressed (which didn't come easily LOL), but would sincerely like and respect Travis and his work. I referred Pillar to my sister, who recently and happily, had Travis replace her entire furnace system. She did not even think about considering another company.

As a disclaimer, I have absolutely no outside ties with Pillar Htg and A/C, Travis, or his staff. I am just a loyal customer. I was once where you are: a consumer, online, praying I find a company that I can trust. One that I will be happy and RELIEVED to have made a wise choice with. PILLAR IS THAT COMPANY.

Travis was awesome. He was able to find the best options for my furnace repairs. I really appreciate the honest and professional diagnosis and options presented to me. I will definitely use him in the future when needed.

Pillar was the third or fourth company I called when our AC went out, and the first one to actually do things right. We've been very impressed not only with their skill, but also how easy it is to work with them. Honest, straightforward, and very friendly.

Travis (the owner) also takes care of the HVAC at my employer's office, and does a great job.

Travis and his technicians went above and beyond my expectations. Prompt service and quality work with no hidden fees with a furnace replacement. Don’t waste time calling anyone else.

Pillar installed a new furnace in November, 2021. There have been no problems. Last month we had the annual cleaning and check by Adam. He provided a thorough report which included a recommendation on the type of filter to use. He also checked the humidifier.

Travis was recommended to me by our real estate agent. He is exceptional! He knew exactly what was wrong. He’s very smart, honest and great to work with. I called late at night and he returned my call within a few minutes. He came by at 8 a.m. and in about 15 minutes I could feel cold air again! Thank you for taking care of us and making sure we were safe in this heat by handling it so fast.

You can tell a lot about a service provider when things don't go exactly right, and Travis earned my business when we hit a bump in the road.

Purchased HVAC system through Pillar. Travis was very straight forward in the sales process - factual, on point and didn't attempt to "step me up" to a system I didn't need. Also, the price was competitive, and I didn't hear, "we'll match any price" heard from other installers. One goes through the shopping process to obtain price estimates which, combined with the product benefits and features, are part of the value proposition. I prefer a strong proposal from the start - something I received from Pillar.

We were replacing a 23-year-old system, and, unfortunately, the new one made a low, air-induced, rumbling noise after it was installed. I noticed it right off - it wasn't terribly intrusive, and I actually got somewhat accustomed to it after a few days, but Travis and I agreed it wasn't right. Therefore, he came back twice at about 2 hours a visit to remedy the situation. Finally, he replaced my 1" filter with a 4" filter - which meant he had to rework/replace venting by installing a larger filter box - not a cheap date both in time and parts - no charge.

While I'm aware this should be part of the installation - the time and effort he made to "make it right" is noteworthy. I'm sure it impacted his bottom-line on the install. I greatly admire Travis' positive attitude, drive, perseverance and urgency to get it right.

In short, Pillar earned my business and this recommendation.

Travis is amazing! I have used his services a few times and recommended his company to anyone looking for a reliable HVAC professional! I highly recommend his work. He was able to squeeze me in last minute and did an astonishing job on our new unit! He followed up with us before/during/after the whole process.

Responsive, knowledgeable and honest, Travis and Adam are problem solvers! They looked into the warranty to replace parts on our unit instead of suggesting a new one, as the other company we had out had done. We appreciate them both for keeping us warm on one of the coldest days of the year. Highly recommend.

Fast, attentive, reasonable pricing, and quality equipment.

Pillar came out to look at my 20+ year old contractor's grade central AC system after it stopped cooling. I talked to Travis (the owner) on the phone and he sent Adam to see what was wrong. It was no surprise that my unit needed more work than it was worth and we discussed replacing with a new system. The quote was reasonable, so we set up an installation date and Adam did what he could to temporarily fix to my old unit to keep it running until the new unit could be installed.

Pillar uses American Standard equipment , which are the exact same products as Trane, and both are top rated for reliability.

We went with the basic Silver Series AC unit as recommended by Pillar. They said it's hard to get your money back on the added cost of a more efficient unit with how short AC season is in our area. There was no up-sell for a more expensive unit. Our new AC is quiet and works great.

Installation took 4-5 hours. Travis, Adam & Jeff were all on site for the install. Great job and Thanks! We will use them again and highly recommend them.

Travis was great! He was very informative and walked me step by step on what was the issue with my furnace. He also gave me tips on maintaining my furnace and the type of filters I should use. I will definitely give Travis a call if I have any other issues in the future. I highly recommend Pillar Heating and Air Condition.

I cannot personally recommend anybody better than Travis with Pillar. This gentleman with integrity is kind, clean, organized and HONEST. Unfortunately I moved out of state and cannot use Travis at this time. I would recommend Travis to anyone that calls this gentleman into his house for service. You will not regret it. He will take care of you in a professional clean respectful and truthful manner. He actually found a recall due to his extra efforts and investigation because that’s how seriously he takes his personal customer commitment. I was able to get some of the furnace replaced at no cost because he took the time to investigate. Thank you so much Travis you are the best.

Our AC recently went out. Pillar Heating and Air was able fit us in with their tight schedule to repair before the holiday weekend. We have done business with them before. The company provides an excellent service. Most importantly their sense of care and integrity.

6/23/25 The AC breaker was recently replaced. Travis is our guy. Again, service exceptional, reliable and timely due to hot weather. This is a company you can trust. I highly recommend. Pillar Heating and Air is the go too for HVAC. Sincerely.

I had Pillar install a new furnace after my crappy Carrier that was installed by the builder had a serious carbon monoxide leak with a cracked plenum. They installed a dual stage American Standard furnace. This unit has worked flawlessly and actually lowered my heating bill. Pillar has also fixed my old Carrier A/C unit and extended the life. I recommend Pillar to everyone. Prices are reasonable and excellent work.

Pillar, Thank you so much for being the professional, knowledgeable, most helpful company I have done business with in a long time. Travis came to my home after giving me a quote for a 1000$ repair only to let me know that my unit only needed a 70$ repair and this all happened after receiving a 1500$ quote from Pillar’s competition. UPDATE:
Just recently had Travis and Adam come out to replace our furnace. Nothing has changed...Travis still runs an honest business, no pressure, extremely competitive pricing, and is just an all in all pleasure to deal with. We also had Adam out separately for our normal maintenance and cleaning for our air conditioner. Adam is always thorough, and also pleasant to work with. I would recommend Pillar to anyone.

Travis is always very helpful and easy to talk to. He's also knowledgeable, and prices are extremely reasonable. On top of all that, he sells American Standard equipment, which is rated the most reliable.

I couldn’t be more pleased with my new zoning system. I have a two story 4,000ft home that has been altered and added onto throughout the years. With all the reconfigurations and the addition I put on one thing that I never changed was the configuration of my HVAC system as I have just the single unit. In the summer I would need to drop the thermostat down to 66 in order to get the 2nd floor to cool to 72. In the winter the 2nd floor was an inferno in order to get the first floor to be comfortable. I tirelessly adjusted the dampers and nothing would help it. I even installed brand new windows in several rooms because I could feel they were getting drafty. I researched a lot and talked to people about my situation and many suggested adding another system. I talked to Travis in hopes of pricing a second system and he quickly tried to talk me out of it. He explained that a better more cost effective option would be to install a zoning system so that each room could maintain its own temperature. He said the cost of not only installing the 2nd system but also the ongoing maintenance and repair costs didn’t seem like the best option for me. I was hesitant to not go with the second system because I just felt that due to the size of my home a second system would be needed. I finally decided to go with the advice of Travis and do the zoning system and let’s just say it’s the single best upgrade I’ve ever done to my home. I am writing the review on a 90* day and my home is balanced at 72* throughout and I couldn’t be happier. If it weren’t for Pillar I would’ve probably installed the second system and been out thousands more dollars. The work was done quickly and professionally and they cleaned up their mess each day that they were done. Travis also helped me setup the app on my phone to get the system to be controlled remotely. Thank you so much for keeping my home balanced!
