These guys were great! They cam pretty close to when they said they would, they pulled the units out, which was a big job, the diagnosed the problem quickly, drove to get the needed part, fixed it in a jiffy and put the units back in. They were courteous and humble and fairly priced compared to the people who sold us the units who wanted an outrageous sum. If you pick someone else there is something wrong with you. :)

Fantastic service. We needed a dishwasher installed and Paul was great from when we first placed the call to when he finished up the job. Professional, knowledgeable, top-notch workmanship. Great price as well. I highly recommend.

Our 20 year old GE dryer suddenly broke down. We called Northside appliance services for an evaluation. They were easy to contact, made a quick appointment, were prompt and punctual. Unfortunately our dryer’s replacement parts were not available due to it being old so it could not be fixed which honestly was not surprising.

Great option for Thermador dishwasher repair. They were able to come out the same week I called, quickly identified the issue, and ordered the necessary part. Once it arrived, they returned promptly to complete the repair.

Paul was terrific. Very responsive, timely, and accurately diagnosed whatever was causing our dishwasher to leak. Had to order a part, and when it was delivered, he came back promptly to complete the repair. I'm keeping his number nearby for the future!

Northside was great to work with, I had gotten a quote from somewhere else that didn’t quite feel right so I called them to get their thoughts. Paul came to take a look, was able to diagnose and fix the issue for much less than the place I spoke to first and had the parts to do it in the same trip. They were professional, quick and thorough, and I will definitely call them first in the future.

Paul has been out to work on most of my appliances in the last few years and he has always been honest & upfront about the cost and if it's even worth fixing. He calls and asks for the appliance information & what's wrong before coming and can often fix it on his first visit. It's also so easy to schedule an appointment online.

We called Northside Appliance Services for a washer that was not fully draining or completing its final spin cycle. Paul was the tech I spoke with and the one who performed the service call. He was courteous, knowledgeable, honest, and showed up on time to the appointment. Don’t underestimate the power of showing up… these days, just getting techs to show up is challenging. Paul basically said it would be more economical to replace the washer and recommended LG as a good brand in his experience. I didn’t realize until talking with my wife later that she bought that washer back in 2003… so I think we we did get out money’s worth. 😁

Paul is great and fixed my 25 year old dryer and it’s working good as new.

My older washer (25+ years) stopped in mid-cycle. We couldn’t get it to drain, spin or do anything. Over the phone I asked Paul if I should just buy a new stackable W&D. He persuaded me to hold onto the unit, as older machines were of higher quality than the new products you find today. I decided to let him repair the washer, expecting to end up paying hundreds. I was fine with that. Paul showed up, worked on the cycle switch and the washer was up and running. He didn’t charge me for any replacement parts because the switch simply had a glitch that he addressed (trapped dust maybe). Total bill was $85. I really appreciated his honesty. He told me if I had any more issues in the following month, he’d return (no house call charge). But we have had no more issues in the weeks since. Thanks again, Paul!

Paul and his team have an awesome scheduling app which allowed us to schedule the date and time we needed them to come. It made for efficient use of our time. The Northside team was very knowledgeable on the refrigerator parts and expedited getting our parts ordered and installed. I would use them again!

Service was quick and efficient. They repaired a small internal component within the Thermador double oven and now it works like a charm! Reasonable prices too.

It is very difficult to find appliance repair service that does it the old fashion way - small business, trusted, caring, responsive, reliable, can diagnose root cause of issue without solely rely on diagnostic tools read out, and still repair at reasonable price. If these are what you value, look no further when your appliances need repair. Northside Appliance Services is truly a rare find especially in a big city like Chicago. I don't know of many repair person that is willing to go overtime after 5pm on a Friday to get my washer fixed without charging any extra. Of course, the repair is also well done.
