After discovering that our freezer (the ice maker specifically) was not operating correctly, I contacted Appliance Repair Stars who scheduled a technician (Dimitri) to come to our home that same day. Not only was Dimitri prompt and efficient during the diagnostic visit, but he also resolved the issue quickly while keeping an open line of communication throughout the entire process. He also provided additional recommendations on what other things need to be done to optimize the performance of the refrigerator. We will certainly use this company again for any future problems that arise.

Appliance Repair Stars is a great choice for your repair needs. They are quick to respond to your call and schedule you at your convenience. I have Sub-Zero & Dacor products and Dimitri fixed them perfectly! He is very professional and left my kitchen clean! My LG dryer needs service next and I will not hesitate to hire them for that too.

LG fridge wasn't cooling well. Diagnosis was a very slow refrigerant leak. They were up front about the high cost of identifying where the leak is and its repair, and suggested that I recharge the refrigerant myself (same tools that I use on my car AC) every few months as necessary to buy me some time before buying a whole new fridge. That kind of honesty is priceless, IMO. For the price of a small can of refrigerant, my fridge is functioning once again. Happy customer!

He is extremely responsive, knowledgeable, professional and respectful, and he gets the job done!
According to the company we initially used (recommended by the manufacturer: Liebherr), we had to replace a high end double fridge/double freezer unit because one of the freezer was „not repairable“- due to a discontinued part by the manufacturer (which turned out not to be the issue).
It took Dimitri only a few minutes to figure out the actual issue: a broken temperature sensor (there are two and the other company didn’t know that) and after receiving the replacement part he came the evening before Thanksgiving to replace it. He stayed until he was sure the freezer and ice maker actually worked (it takes a while for the compressor to start cooling)!
Not only did he save our Thanksgiving; he saved us thousands of dollars that we didn’t have to spend on an entire new unit!

Great service from Appliance Repair Stars! My Thermador fridge’s ice maker stopped working, and I thought it needed to be replaced. They diagnosed the problem and completed the repair the very next day. It turned out the issue wasn’t with the ice maker, but with the water supply. Fast and professional. Very satisfied!

I have been wanting to fix my stovetop for awhile, and finally called Appliance Repair Stars. He was on time, friendly, extremely professional, and of course, fixed the problem quickly. The switch on one burner was out… we thought it was the igniter but we were wrong. I’d absolutely call again.

They were very quick response and sent a qualified technician (Rostislav) who knew my refrig model and was able to help me replace the faulty main control board which I had already secured. All in about 1 hours. I paid $100 for the visit and $150 for labor which was a little higher than I expected but it saved a out $1000 from having someone else do the job.

The tech was able to diagnose the problem quickly and schedule an appointment to replace the part in a reasonable amount of time. He was friendly and professional and left the workspace clean.

Sergey was wonderful to work with. Came same day, diagnosed the problem with my washing machine, and came back in three days once the parts came in. Which, efficient, honest, and also gave me some advice on plumbing that would help in the future.
