Brandon and the guys were great. I call Chicago Appliance repair last minute as my fridge stopped working and they were able to come out the same day to take a look.

They were very knowledgeable and nice and provided a quote during the visit(which was FREE) and after talking to several other companies their quote was by far the best. They came out to do the job the next day after getting the required part and fixed everything within a couple hours. Couldn’t be happier.

Sub Zero Fridge was repaired within a couple days of calling. Had a broken compressor and control board. Parts came fast and labor happened as soon as parts arrived within two days of calling. Thank you for addressing this time sensitive issue, fridge works great.

**Update April/2024: The freezer is freezing over again and causing the fridge to be warm.. when I push on the wall of the freezer I can feel frost crunching inside. Brandon came back to check it out and said the actual problem was something else now, and maybe the fan and maybe some other part was the reason, but he didn’t know that when they first diagnosed. He let me know I should probably buy a brand new fridge because this one has too many problems. I wish he would’ve told me the first time he attempted to fix it. He also will not be refunding the $400 I paid for the service. The first photo is the day they fixed it, the second photo is how my freezer looks now.

Brandon and team fixed my GE freezer which hasn’t been fully working for a couple years. Easy to schedule and only took about 2 hours. I would recommend them.

We had a control board replaced on our 2006 Frigidaire dryer. They did a quick and efficient job! They've also serviced our washer and dryer in the past and keep them running in great shape.

DO NOT believe these reviews. I paid for some of my commercial gaskets to be repaired on 8/11. To this day I CANNOT get a hold of them nor will they call me back. They left midjob and said they would come back. I have called them maybe 15 times (they have not contacted me once). I spoke to Brandon the owner last week and he told me they would be installed LAST FRIDAY. I have messaged him multiple times since then and he will not pick up anymore. I now have to file a fraud claim with my bank. There are MANY other repair companies in Chicago, please do not waste your time with this company.

Don’t be fooled by the great reviews. We called and trusted this company for getting our refrigerator fixed. They advised we needed to replace the mother board. So we waited until they received the part. First took payment of half the payment in advance which was fair for their trust in their customer, then on July 10, 2025 they replaced the mother board. 1 month after the fridge stopped working completely. And then for one month from August 27 to Sept 25 we have been contacting them to do the job and repair under their warranty. They only gave us the run around. After taking over $600 and a run around and not staying true to their word. It leaves me no choice but to leave a review.

I contacted this company to repair my washer. Brandon visited on a Thursday and initially quoted $492 for a drain pump replacement, stating it required two people to move the dryer stacked on top. The quote was later adjusted to $466 to include a gasket replacement.

I agreed to proceed only if the repair could be completed that same week, as my parents were visiting and flying out Monday. Brandon confirmed it could be done Friday, so I sent a $233 deposit at his request. After receiving payment, he informed me the part was out of stock and rescheduled for Saturday.

On Saturday, I stayed home between 1–5 PM as instructed. Despite a message at 3 PM saying they would arrive in 15 minutes, no one showed up. I called, texted, and emailed—no response. Three days later, I reached out again and Brandon answered, unaware the repair hadn’t been completed and having ignored my prior messages.

They eventually completed the repair, but did so without moving the dryer—meaning it was not a two-person job as originally claimed.

While the repair was ultimately completed, the lack of communication, missed appointments, and misleading information were frustrating. It's important that businesses provide clear timelines and manage expectations honestly, especially when payment is taken upfront.
