First time customer of Molly Maid / any cleaning service. My husband and I booked Molly Maid for a deep move in clean with a 3 hour minimum. We requested specifically that the baseboards, showers and window sills were cleaned. The team was here for 90 minutes and did not clean any of what was requested or specified in the description of the move in clean on Molly Maid’s website. We let Molly Maid know the job wasn’t done and they offered to resend a team in a few days - which we originally agreed to, only for Molly Maid to cancel and reschedule the appointment. At this point we had already moved in and the option of a “move in” clean was no longer possible. I spoke to someone who said they would give us a full refund and took my card number. A few days went by and when I called to ask when I would receive the refund, they said I would only receive $50 back on the $275 service I paid for and did not receive. I have spent everyday for the last 10 days on the phone with someone trying to get at least 50% of the money we paid back - to no avail. They said “the best they can do” is a $100 refund. Super disappointed in the cleaning service and customer service I received. Was definitely looking forward to using Molly Maid for a reoccurring cleaning but will have to look elsewhere.

We had Molly Maid come to do a move-out cleaning for our apartment and they were excellent. They showed up within the arrival window and were very thorough. They brought all of the cleaning supplies needed. Nelson and Paula (Team 19) were great. If we need a cleaning in the future, we would definitely go with them again!

Team #14—Isabel, Jessica, and a third team member whose name I unfortunately can’t recall—provided truly exceptional service. This was my first time handling a full move, and I was completely exhausted. Our home needed a deep, detailed cleaning, and they wasted no time getting started. Sensing how stressed and overwhelmed I was while finishing up my packing, they immediately jumped in to help without hesitation. Their support made a huge difference. By the time they were done, the entire place was spotless—every corner, surface, and hidden area was thoroughly cleaned. If you're ever in need of a meticulous home cleaning, I can’t recommend this team enough!

I wanted a little “fall” cleaning and decided to treat myself with a one-time clean. I have to say, I will 100% be setting up a recurring service with Molly Maid! I will be requesting Team 10 as well! (Isabel and Ana) it was super easy to schedule, coordinate the entrance, and I was thrilled when I returned home.

Best maid cleaning I’ve ever had. The free in-person estimate helped a lot, and they really listened and did all the requests, and then some more. Team 17 did an amazing job, and I can’t wait for them to clean our place monthly.

I was a Molly Maid Chicago customer for over a year. Arnie and his office staff did a great job of causing my wife and I to fire them. We had a family emergency and when requesting to move our service in 2 days, they did not want to be flexible and attempted to charge my credit card (without authorization) for our cleaning service, which we pay for with a check before even doing the service. They never did it before and only did it because I expressed my displeasure with the lack of customer service being provided. Very unprofessional or try charging a customer out of spite because they are unhappy with you.

Rosie, the manager was VERY disrespectful and rude on the phone and when I requested to speak with the owner, Arnie, he never reached out to talk through what was going on. Clearly the sale pitch that he gives when visiting our home is a total sham as he is not a customer first owner and is only in it for the $$$. When his team is disrespectful to a customer, you would think that he would do what he can to save the customer vs. basically saying to shove it.

There are a ton of other cleaning companies and individuals in the Chicago area who respect customers, understand that things happen and are willing to have a customer first mentality. It is a shame that Arnie and his management (Rosie) seem to just want to point the finger at the customer all the time and never take any form of accountability.

Look somewhere else for a cleaning company and you will be much more happy knowing that they will care for the customer relationship.

Update: The owner/manager responded and completely contradicted themselves. They say that they look to handle situations respectfully, but there was not respect in how their team and the owner (Arnie) themselves handled the situation. The owner refused to contact me back after I was told he would call me to personally talk about what happened with his staff, but I was instead contacted by one of the very people I had an issue with. They also failed to address their attempt to charge me early for my service without my authorization and without informing me first. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL! DO not go with this company unless you have to! There are plenty of others other there that are more mom and pop for more affordable rates that do better or equal work!

Maria & Fernando were efficient and detailed. We hired their services before we moved out of a rental we’ve been in for 3 years and was in serious need of some TLC before our landlord did a walkthrough. The bathrooms and kitchen were cleaned thoroughly and look brand new. Would recommend their services!

We recently booked Molly Maid for a deep seasonal clean, and it was such a great experience! They tackled the areas that often get overlooked during our regular cleanings, and the difference was noticeable right away. Special shoutout to Team #7 (Rosa A. and Esther M.) they were thorough, kind, and a pleasure to have in our home. We’d definitely book with them again!

Haven’t been this upset in a long time. We are moving out of my first home which is emotional and thought we would be nice and get it cleaned for the buyer. We NEVER hire someone but needed to catch a break this time around with all the stress of moving already. Our window was between 12-4pm and the plan was for me to get there from the other side of the city to check in after and see how it went. The cleaners arrived at 4:30pm when I also did. I told them it was fine and I’d make it work although inconvenient. I brought them up, made sure they were good, and went on to the other errands I had planned. They were there about an hour. My boyfriend checked the place the next day and it actually looked dirtier than we had left it and like they had not even touched anything. The only things that looked clean were what I PERSONALLY cleaned like the fridge. We left the place fairly clean before we even left. I stressed how important the floors, bathroom, and cabinets were. When I told them that over text, they sent a thumbs up. Attached are pictures but we have videos too. Now our closing date is a week away and we will be away for a wedding with no time to clean it ourselves or find someone else. Stressed. I’ll stick to my motto, if you want something done right, do it yourself.

We had a great cleaning today for our 3bd 2 bath apartment. Team #22 were amazing!!! Celia and Margarita were very polite, careful and did a wonderful job!!

Team# 25 did a fabulous job. Second time working with them. Great communication from start to finish. Accepted tips via Zelle. Will be using again.

The Molly Maid team did a fantastic job on a move-out. I mean amazing. Unit never looked better. I wish I would have hired them on the move - in as well. Up front pricing. Good communication on appointment time and excellent results. Highly recommend this company.

Both Linda and Rita of Team 25 have been terrific in proving the cleaning service. Every two weeks they arrive, smiling, and ready to work. We would not trade them for anyone else. Five stars for sure.

I’m sorry to say they did a Terrible Job at my place. They hardly did a thing. And the owner wanted them to come in to justify it. If it were a couple of things I would’ve let it pass, but it’s every room and I don’t want them in my house again because I’m concerned something could occur in my place since they know they did a terrible job.
