I've had duct cleaning done be a different vendor in the past and it was thorough and took probably an hour to complete. I recently used Ugly Ductling and the work was not at all thorough and they were done in about 10 minutes, most of that time was to change my air filter not clean the ducts. I would not recommend.

I had a wonderful experience with Ugly Ductling. They were very responsive and everyone I spoke with was warm and friendly. During these times of COVID, they were prepared with face masks and shoe covers in my home. I loved the added sanitation benefit after the cleaning of the vents. I would use them again.

They came prepared with PPE and shoe covers, so I felt completely comfortable allowing them in, during this time of COVID-19. (They also used disinfectant!) This team went right to work efficiently and professionally, and did an incredibly great job! My house smells better, and the air is noticeably fresher! I only regret that I waited so long for this service! So kudos to Chris P. and Mike for a job well done!

Chris and John came to clean my dryer vent and ducts. I had other companies do this but they were the first to actually go all the way up to the vent and cleaned out the mess clogging things up. They were professional and got the job done timely and left with my dryer all hooked back up and clean and ready to go! Cost was quite reasonable and Karl (the owner) did and amazing job working with my schedule to get me in ASAP. Highly recommend this company and the guys that came to do the service.

Christian was our technician and he got our very old dryer working like new again. Also, my husband noticed the next morning he anble to breathe better after we got our vents and ducts cleaned out. Shortly after moving into our new home, my wife and I noticed that our allergies were flaring up. We knew the previous owner hadn't cleaned the vents in years, so we called Ugly Ductling.
I talked to Karl on the phone, and he was very polite and professional in scheduling a cleaning. He and his crew arrived exactly at the scheduled time and worked quickly and efficiently. They showed me the amount of dust they were able to clear out (yuck!), and then they showed me how our vents were clean as a whistle. And I paid exactly what Karl quoted - very upfront and honest pricing.
After the vent cleaning, we noticed an immediate impact. My wife and I are no longer congested in the mornings and we don't need to dust as often. I highly recommend Ugly Ductling to all!

I used Kurt and Karl's business for my condo association and they couldn't have done a better job. They were immediately responsive when I reached out and were able to get a large job scheduled in less than a week. They arrived on time and were kind and friendly. I felt totally comfortable having them in my home. They were thorough and efficient in getting the 7 units in our association cleaned. The ducts are a night and day difference. The guys did a good job with what they have but we were very disappointed with the equipment utilized. Doesn’t seem like it provided a very thorough cleaning of the ducts and furnaces. The vents themselves were vacuumed which is helpful but the air wasn’t blown long enough to really deep clean the ducts. We expected a more intense and longer cleaning to be honest and aren’t inclined to be a repeat customer or recommend these services for a suburban home cleaning. Maybe works better for condos or small offices. Nothing bad to say about scheduling or the employees or cost.

Since moving into my home, I have not had my duct system to the HVAC system cleaned. I hired Ugly Ductling they were extremely professional and informative of the work they were performing on the ducts. Since having my air ducts cleaned, I have noticed a complete difference with the quality of air being blown throughout the house. I plan to do this annually from now on. While finalizing the sale of my father’s old house in Edison Park, the buyers requested to have the air ducts cleaned since the property sat vacant for over a year. Not wanting to lose the sale, I reached out to Ugly Ductling based on their stellar reviews and quick response rate. Literally within 2 minutes of me reaching out via Yelp for a quote, the owner Karl got back to me with pricing, a detailed explanation of their process, and was even able to work around my schedule to get the job done around some other work that was happening in the house.

The team that did the work was amazing, specifically their lead technician Chris. He explained everything that they would be doing that day to clean and sanitize the vents, and was so personable, professional, and respectful throughout the whole process.

Gene and Jose were very professional and worked quickly and provided excellent service. The owner Karl has also been a pleasure to work with. He is quick at responding and scheduling service. Gene and Jose checked in at the start of their visit and concluded their service call by wrapping up and confirming that all equipment was addressed and serviced as requested. This is the second time we have utilized ugly ductling air duct/dryer vent cleaning and will use them again in the future.

I had my air ducts cleaned by Ugly Ductling about a year and a half ago, and I’m disappointed to see them dirty again so soon and how poor the air quality is. I expected the results to last longer. They did not even remove the air vents when cleaning - something another company had told me is vital. I wouldn't recommend them based on my results and the hefty price.

We have 2 dryers that weren’t working well. A prior company cleaned them from the inside, but after a while we still had issues. This company was recommended by our trusted repair company and they THOROUGHLY cleaned out the inside vents (replacing one) and our tech climbed a ladder and cleaned the blockage from the outside as well. We had a birds nest in our vent and had such a back up lint it was a wonder the machines worked at all. They are working perfectly. I will likely set up annual service from Ugly Ductling rather than wait for another problem to arise.
